• Staff was wonderful, preformed without having to ask, how a 4 star should be.
• Parking was a little high, could of parked a block over for $8 less a night

“Hotel staff was wonderful, place is very modern and up to date. The rooms are very good size. We have stayed at other 4 stars downtown and for convenience you can not beat this hotel. I would highly recommend over the other 4 stars.”

• Friendly staff and nice lobby setting.
• This was NOT a 4-star room. Small room; Double bed looked more like twin and a half. Nice bath, but no tub.

• The valet had great service.
• The sheets had hair and dirty spots in them when we arrived.

“We were not at all impressed with this hotel. There was only one restaurant open at night within walking distance, and it was not casual and was very expensive. This was not a place for children. The room was the smallest room we have ever stayed in. When we arrived, the sheets on the bed were full of hair and were dirty. The lady came to change them, but did not change the pillowcases, so we did not have pillows to use. The sheets were paper thin and there was not a mattress pad on the bed. I did not feel clean the entire weekend. The whole experience was disappointing.”

• Very friendly and helpful staff, comfy beds, safe garage, nice décor.
• No indoor pool.

“We were traveling with 4 children under 12years, for 1 overnight, it was a very positive experience. Would always reach for a pool if possible with little/young children.”

• Very Chic! Easy parking, nice rooms.
• Pool was closed for cleaning - but it was prob. too cold to swim anyway.

“This hotel was terrific. Very nice boutique hotel. The room was spacious. Ordered dessert from room service and it was great. Parking was convenient and safe. This was a good location - sort of off the beaten path but close to everything. Heard revelers at 4are partying on the street - but that's New Orleans!”

• The room was nice, clean and modern. I really liked the decor of the bathroom and the bed was comfortable.
• Most of the public spaces were closed for construction. We did not know this upon making reservations.

“I was surprised at the nice, comfortable room for the price. The location was not far from places we visited. We were able to walk most places (a little sketchy at night)! The parking was expensive (valet only). The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay at this hotel again. Absolutely.”

• Right across from bourbon street; really nice.
• 28 dollars to park overnight is insane.

“Very nice, just need to make the parking less expensive. Get rid of valet if you have to. All in all, it was a great place.”

• The lobby and entrance was under construction so it lacked in attractiveness.

• Renovations and handicapped bathroom.

“Hotel was really great. I should have asked for another room when I got the handicapped bathroom (that flooded when I showered). After the renovations are complete, it will be even more awesome than it is.”

• Nice gym, room was big in size, bed was good.
• Soap from previous person was in the shower, room was very plain, bathroom nice.

“The lobby was under renovation and was very unattractive. There were hardly any other people in the hotel. I lost money in my car that was valet parked.”

• I loved that it was a few minutes away from a church that I could go to.
• There was a lot of construction going on in the common areas. It was not inviting.

• Very poor service. Staff seemed disorganized.

“The staff was very, very disorganized. Calling the front desk was a pain, and it often took multiple calls to get someone (what, were they ignoring calls?). We left the hotel at noon and called and notified the front desk we were leaving so they could have house keeping clean our room. When we returned at 6:30 pm, the room still hadn't been cleaned. The location is decent, but Id rather pay more money and stay someplace that has better service.”

“Over all the hotel was pleasant and I would rate it a three star. Hotel was decoration was very modern and rooms are spacious. But, the water pressure came out at a dribble which made getting ready a slow process. What will stop me from staying at this hotel again was the feeling they were trying to take advantage of us with billing.”

• A little dark getting to/from French quarter.

“4 star hotel just a block or two from all of the main action surrounding the French quarter in new Orleans! Very comfortable beds w/huge bathroom. Hotel was very clean both in the public areas and all areas of our room. Hotel was very quiet and sleeping was easy, but only 1 2 blocks away from all the sights/sounds of bourbon St. And the French quarter. Highly recommended!”

• The rooms (esp. The bathrooms) were very modern and spa like.
• The front lobby was very drab but they were undergoing renovations.

“This is a great hotel based on its location and the trendy rooms. It is close to the quarter, the business district, and the warehouse district. The hotel is undergoing a renovation of its lobby so it is not as nice as some, but the rooms are reminiscent of a spa (especially the bathroom). The free breakfast was not included.”

• It was exactly in the correct place. We wanted to be close to the French quarter but not in.
• Nothing comes to mind.

“I found the hotel to be clean, even though they were in the process of remodeling the lobby and bar area. The rooms were very clean and well stocked.”

• Location was great to get to French quarter.
• Rooms not clean.

“We had to change rooms 3 times. We found hair in our bed in the first room. There were hair and fingernails clippings in the bed in the second room. The third room, the sheets had nothing on them but did not look fresh. The room was very small, there was no bathtub. The parking was very expensive and the valet parked the car at 5:30 p.m. And was told upon check out that the car had to be out by 4 p.m. Or another day of parking would be charged. We were going to the saints game and wasn't sure if we would be back in time. Other places in town let you park for 24 hrs. Did not eat there, the restaurant was completely empty, so I did not know if it was open or not. There was construction in the lobby. However, the staff was friendly and appeared apologetic about the unclean rooms.”

• The staff was great and attentive. Like rooms.
• The tile in the showers needs to be cleaned.

“Not your fault, but I didn't see a street sign to indicate exactly where I was when I was looking for the hotel. Once we got in, we were very pleased and comfortable with staying there. We will be visiting again in December and are strongly considering staying with you all again.”

“When I checked out I had a $112 bill for long distance calls. I never made any calls and the front desk girl said that this has been happening a lot.”

• It was close to but not in the middle of the "action" of the French Quarter.
• We stayed on a Friday evening and there was fighting and rowdiness on our floor in the early hours of the morning.

“This hotel was a bit hard to find (for out of town like us) and the parking setup was not immediately apparent. The fact that you really had to use the valet parking and that you had to figure this out on your own was problematic. The streets are full of dumpsters and most run one way so any misstep took you several blocks out of your way. Overall the physical plant of the hotel was very nice. I think that a security person positioned on the first floor would have helped. We had a very loud fight on our floor at 2 a.m. It made me feel a bit leery about recommending it to anyone.”

• Everything was pretty new.
• It was not really in the convention center area and it was not near attractions and hard to get to.

“The overall appearance was nice inside but it was hard to find the street it was on because it was so small and was not near a lot of attractions. It was comfortable but the room was not very big, but the bathroom was very nice.”

• They charged $28 to park the car, and breakfast was not included with the room.

“It is very attractive. It is located just off of canal, near the French quarter, the river walk, and near the convention center and casinos. The staff was good. It is very expensive to park.”

• No bellman to help with bags or get a cab. Decor was shabby; bed cover had a hole in it.

“While only two blocks from canal street, this hotel is not close to anything. The check in/out staff was pleasant and helpful, but other employees were not. The restaurant has a limited menu and prices are not comparable to hotel. ”

• The problems w/this hotel are not necessarily the hotels fault. NOLA needs to provide streetlights on the side streets (damaged do to hurricane.)
• There was no common area lounge for a group of people to gather and have a refreshment.

“The problems at this hotel are not necessarily the fault of the hotel. There are many side streets in NOLA that do not have street lights, this was a safety concern. The bistro is not up and running yet, thus there was no where to really meet and have a drink. The "lounge" area was not kept clean. The staff was knowledgeable but kind of made me nervous when I asked about taxis and tours stating that NOLA is down a certain percentage of taxi service (no guarantees on arrival time) and tours could be closed. Basically enjoyed the hotel, but you could tell there were still issues with the front of the house.”

• cleanliness and comfort
• no concierge on duty and phone help was horrible. No refund for leaving early caused by the evacuation of NO.

“The location and quality of the property is wonderful. Cleanliness is also wonderful. The help was a bit below average since we were not able to touch base by phpone or in person with a conciege for 3 days! The help at the front desk was bare minimum since they did not know english all that well.”

“We spent the first night of our honeymoon at the Pere Marquette - and really wished we didn't have to leave. Our room was beautiful, and the staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make us feel special.”

• Very clean & quiet. New fixtures; comfortable.
• Valet parking only, which means access to vehicle somewhat limited or cumbersome.

“I would stay there again. Climate contol was modern for an old hotel, and the room was quite comfortable.”
