“On the north side of Jackson right off of I-55. This was our 2nd Priceline stay at this hotel. We were thrilled when we snagged this hotel on Thanksgiving night.”

• A little difficult to find with GPS.

“Very nice hotel near restaurants and shopping. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Check in and check out went very well. The bed, while comfortable, did not seem to be up to the upgraded beds in other Courtyard hotels where I have stayed recently.”

• The bed is nice.
• The heater is extremely loud and very disturbing.

“My first impression of this hotel was good, as I was greeted by a friendly member of the staff. The room was cold, but when the heat was on the sound was deafening. The hot tub was nasty-looking.”

• It was clean.
• The bathrooms were not handicapped equipped.

“Overall the stay was nice. I had a 13 year old w/us that is in a wheelchair. she can maneuver pretty well on her own, but this is the 1st hotel i have ever been in where the bathroom did not come with a bar next to the toilet. I should have asked for a handicap equipped rooms, but she usuallydoes just fine as long as there is a bar.”

• No room.

“They had no room and sent me to another hotel, I got there and all they had was smoking. Called them and they said all the would do is send me downtown to marriott which was a long way away. I ask for 2 frre night certificate and they said they could not do. It was a real pain.”

• Location was close to restaurants.
• Floor was soggy wet! Air conditioner was malfunctioning.

“When I entered my room everything seemed fine. Up to the normal Marriott standards. When I started to work and removed my shoes my feet became soaking wet. The floor was flooded from water from the air conditioner. I called management and they offered to have someone come up to take care of it and I begged off because I had a lot of work to do and if they weren't offering a new room I would rather they not bother me. A new room should have been offered but wasn't. I will not be recommending Jackson Ms Courtyard to my internet marketing friends with whom I travel frequently!”

“This hotel was a great stay because of it's proximity to shopping and food. I was staying there for a family reunion so it was also in a great location to all of the events. The free wireless was a plus!”

• Location of the hotel & courtesy of the staff.
• Breakfast bar was $8.95. Normally a free breakfast comes with a 2.5 star.

“The location offers many choices for dining and shopping. It is a safe area of town. The rooms are comfortable & clean. The wireless internet was free. The only negative was that their breakfast buffet was $8.95. If that's not a problem for you, then I highly recommend this hotel.”

• The rooms don't match the cleanliness of the lobby.

“There was a wall air conditioner with dirt/mold in it and you could smell it in the air when you walked into the room. The bathroom door wouldn't close, the grouting was disgusting in the bathroom, and the beds were hard. Not pillow top like other 3 star hotels. I would give this hotel 2 stars. Nice lobby, but the rooms don't match it.”

• Some of the staff was friendly but not the staff in the early part of the day.
• They made us come back to check in, because of unclean rooms, not enough linens they ran out after we had to check in late!

“We have stayed here before, and had an alright stay. Good enough for one night. So I was fine with staying there again. But when we arrived at 12:30 (check in after 12:00), they said that there were no clean rooms available, and we could come back at 2:00. Well we needed to be at a family function by then and we would be to far away to get back until after 8:00 that night. Well if that wasn't enough. When we did finally check in they said they didn't have any blankets left and I had a 5 year old that needed to go to bed. But when I went down and insisted that they find us something. Just so happens, she found one! Imagine that! Over all I probably will not stay there anymore and the breakfast is $8.95.way too expensive for what they we serving!”

• There was free parking, internet access and free breakfast.
• Room was very old with a TV remote that did not wok and carpet was old and smelled. There was a dirty towel in the bathroom.

“There is great potential for this hotel but management needs to do a great overhaul and refurbish the entire hotel. I stayed at Courtyard Marriott nearby and for 5 dollars a day more the experience was 1000% better.”

• everything but one thing.
• I didn't like that room 313 was in the back close to the freeway.

“this was a very good hotel I just wish that my room 313 was not at the back next to a fence where any one could jump the fence from the side road or the freeway and come into my room or any room on that side and I didn't see any security at check in or check out.”

• No security! Our truck was vandalized and broken into with items stolen.

“Over all the stay was fine. The staff was very helpful, and we had no problems with check in or check out. The hotel was well equipped with toiletries (since we forgot a few) but the bed was our main complaint. Just not comfortable!”

• Very clean, staff courteous, nice facilities, easy to locate.
• Breakfast was not ready, had to wait for service.

“Overall experience was very good. Parking area not lit well. Hotel was clean and staff was very courteous. The market items were fresh and well prepared. Facilities were nice and gym area was great. Pool and spa were clean. Very much liked the fact that the entire hotel was smoke free. Would definitely recommend this hotel to colleagues, family, and friends.”

• Our room key did not work and there were too many non-hotel guests collecting around the front desk.

“The hotel was okay. The room seemed clean. There was only one staff on duty for the entire facility and she was being torn in several directions. That does not impress me about the management of the hotel. There were no movies available for my children to view. The free internet was great for us.”

• Marriott does not willingly give us 2 queens instead of one king.

“We need 2 beds. And we always get the feeling that we are being treated as second rate. Our room was right next to a meeting room and was very, very damp. The pillow cases looked rumpled - I think because the dampness made them wilt.”

“The hotel met minimal 3 star standards. The hot breakfast buffet was very ambitious, but the attendant was overworked and couldn't keep up. It appeared to be a totally self-service operation but it wasn't. People sat down and served themselves as much as they could, but the result was chaos.”
