• It was clean and the people were nice.
• Dr. pepper machine, ice machine and wireless internet didn't work.

“Hotel was clean, people nice. Wish someone could have fixed the broken dr. pepper machine and ice machine. It would have been nice to talk to a tech support person for the inability to get the internet. Clerk said only they could talk to tech support - that does not make since that they should be an intermediary.”

• Air conditioning was leaking in floor, giving a musty, and mildew smell. Carpet was very wet.

“I requested a no-smoking room with king bed. I received a smoking room with double queen. Old room, advertised on banner outside hotel at $39.99. This hotel is an embarrassment to the La Quinta chain.”

• At 4:20 p.m. room was not ready, shower did not drain, no towels.

“Was very disappointed in the service at this hotel. Checked in at 4:20 and needed to shower before wedding. Beds were made but there were no bath towels available. Had to dry off with hand towels. shower did not drain - showered in 2 to 3 inches of dirty water. Water pressure nominal. Someone else at the front desk when I was checking in did not have iron in their room and had already asked earlier for one.”

• The hotel personnel was friendly.
• I did not receive the correct rooms, the air didn't work.

“I am not sure what actually went wrong during the process of getting the hotel. However, I did not receive the correct rooms, I registered for 3-doubles, I received 3-king sizes rooms and they were completely sold out. One of the rooms was without air conditioning, therefore it was hot and humiliating, I asked for non-smoking because I am allergic to smoke and of course the rooms were smoking rooms. The drain in the bath tub in my room was not working properly. I cleaned the tub and had to wait about fifteen minutes for it to drain before I could take a bath. My experience at this hotel was not enjoyable at all. This was the worst I have ever had to deal with.”

• The only room available was a smoker's room that smelled of cigarettes.

“This is a decent, economical hotel that has a very convenient location in Jackson. It would not be great for a romantic getaway, but it would be okay for business travel.”

• There was nothing to like.
• I did not like anything about this hotel.

“It was awful. Dirty, understaffed and in a questionable location. We elected to not stay because they did not have a room ready for us. The one they initially put us in was dirty and obviously had not been cleaned after the last guest.”

“Overall the hotel was perfect, the location was great, the room was clean, the pool was kept clean and the staff was friendly. The bed could have been a bit more comfy and pillows a little fuller. But our overall stay was great. We would definitely stay there again.”

• It was inexpensive and the room was much nicer than expected from viewing the outside of the hotel.
• There were a lot of young kids with what looked like their dates checking in the hotel.

“We were looking for a place to sleep in route to new Orleans to look at a university. We knew that we only needed a room for 6-7 hours to sleep. Checking in we were a little nervous at what we had booked (the exterior grounds seemed like it would be a bad hotel); however the rooms were decent and the walls were thick so you could not hear any noise. We got a nicer room than the price we paid. We ended up having breakfast in the lobby which was nice too!”

• The best La Quinta inn which we have ever stayed in every way.
• Nothing.

“All in all it was a very nice stay and would highly recommend this particular property. It seemed to be a step above the others that we stayed over the past 2 1/2 months on this trip.”

• Bed was quite uncomfortable (very hard).

“Hotel was located near all the events that I attended for the weekend. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable but room was very clean. Hotel clerk was very friendly and helpful when I had questions.”

• It's my home away from home. It has free internet and coffee 24 hours a day in the lobby.
• The parking spaces are limited to some degree.

“We stayed at this hotel for its situation with regards to the airport, the hotel was clean and comfortable, but then most la quita hotels are. Plenty restaurants in the close vincinety for a longer stay.”

• I loved the room and how soft the beds were.
• Nothing really maybe how close it was off the intersection I pass the turnoff twice.

“From beginning to end I really love my experience in this hotel. My room was very nice and comfortable. They were doing a few repairs and renovation to make it more appealing. When I first came up to the hotel, I said I want to find another hotel and then I went in my room and I was speechless at how nice they had it and when I laid in the bed I thought I was floating on air. It felt good. Overall this told a lot of my friends when they go to Jackson look up the laquinta inn. ”

“I enjoyed my stay here. There were a few stains on the cloth chairs and the TV was a little fuzzy at times. Beds were comfortable. Internet was not real fast. I was disappointed that there wasn't any bananas.”

• My room was next to the ice machine, lots of outside noise, hard bed, flat pillows.

“It probably would have been all right if we weren't by the ice machine and coke machine. Around 7 am Sunday morning there were kids running, screaming and jumping on the stairs. Right by the coke machines.”

“My business associate and myself arrived at the hotel after 9 p.m. They had my confirmed reservation and room, they had my associate's confirmation, but no room. We spent over an hour and a half trying to resolve the issue. Final got the second room after 11 p.m.”

• My non-smoking room was close enough to the smoking rooms that I could smell smoke.

• The hot water was hot and the TV worked.
• The floor was not clean and there was dried urine on the toilet.

“It has outdoor room entry with no obvious security in a questionable part of town. It is too old and desperately needs updating. We were given the wrong key in windy 20 degree weather and had to walk all the way around the outdoor complex to get to our room, parking was very limited, only to find that the key didn't work. We then had to both walk back in the same cold to get the manager to let us in. The non smoking room smelled strongly of smoke and there was hair and dirt on the floor as well as crusted urine on the toilet, also, flushing the toilet sounded like a civil war canon. I'm glad my wife wasn't there. She would have killed somebody, probably me. At least it had hot water.”

• I liked the fact the hotel was not hard to find.
• One of the rooms had not been cleaned and they were smaller than average rooms.

“The staff quickly gave us another room when we discovered that one of the rooms we had booked had not been cleaned. The rooms were too small for a family. Disappointed that there were no adjoining rooms available.”

• The room was in poor, poor condition. Not a safe location. Very poor quality hotel.

“This is NOT a two star hotel! I would give it a one star. The beds were in horrible condition and very uncomfortable. The bathroom was dirty. The smoke alarm went off when I put the heater on in the morning. The location is BAD, BAD, BAD! I did not feel safe there with my young daughter. ”

“It was ok-but not normal quality. The continental breakfast was not kept up, and by the time I got there (still an hour before it was over) most everything was gone. The rooms had strong odors, and not very clean. The staff was friendly but it did not compensate for the lack of quality, especially for LaQuinta.”

• Easy on and off access to major highway and availability to restaurants and retail stores.
• Our telephone didn't work and couldn't be repaired. The second day we had no washclothes and a shortage of bath towels.

“The hotel is adequate for traveling with a family. Don't plan on the continental breakfast, we went down at 8 am and there were very few things left. The rooms are clean and comfortable but the pillows have seen better days.”
