• Comfortable beds, pillows, nice towels and toiletries and was
  quiet.
• A little out of the way - had to make several turns to reach it.

• The staff was friendly and courteous I will gladly stay in this hotel again.

“After I named my price on priceline and it was accepted, I read the reviews for the hotel and was very disappointed with what I read. But after getting there and experiencing for myself the service and the quality I must say that those reviews were completely wrong. I thank you for a wonderful experience.”

• The location and the free parking.

“The location of the Sheraton is not too far, yet not too close to the business of downtown New Orleans. There free garage parking at the hotel and it seems to be safe. The rooms are nice, clean, and peaceful.”

• Great location for our shopping & dining plans. Nice room.
• Recommend they keep doors to adjacent garage locked at all times, not just night.

“Great central location along I-10 in Metairie, very near everything we wanted to do on our short stay. Quiet, very nice room not perfect, but not worn either. Staff interaction was limited but efficient and pleasant just what we wanted.”

• The room appeared to have been spot cleaned.

“Smoke detector was disengaged (actually hanging off the wall with wires exposed). There were no clean towels. There was no coffee maker (it took two calls to get a working coffee maker). There was a stain on the bed linen sticking out from between the mattresses.”

• It was close to the interstate and the area was quiet.
• The shower head was not clean and toilet not cleaned thoroughly.

“Overall, I loved my stay at the Sheraton. The rooms and ambiance were lovely and the staff was always helpful. The only complaint I have is the fact that the shower head had bacterial growth suggesting that it hadn't been cleaned in quite a while and under the rim of the toilet bowl was the same.”

• I liked the staff, the food and the room.

“The hotel is located just off I-10 not far from New Orleans. We stayed on an executive floor for the price of a regular room. Staff was great. Beds were extremely comfortable. I'll choose that hotel again.”

• There wasn't anything I didn't like.

“My experience at the Sheraton was a very pleasant one. The staff was courteous and helpful, and made it their business to make me comfortable. They even called me personally for my wakeup call and ordered a taxi for me so I could make my very early morning flight. The room was spacious and clean and the bed very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to any business traveler like myself. I was a little disappointed in the internet access. It wasn't user friendly, but my overall impression of this hotel was excellent and I would stay there again.”

• The Wi-Fi didn't work, the bathroom basin was too high.

“At first entrance the lobby was beautifully decorated and airy. Check-in was efficient and effortless. The bellman was very friendly and quite knowledgeable about the amenities of the room. My first bad experience came at the price of a $140.14 hold put on my debit card for incidentals. I had to call the company that provides the hotel's high speed internet service to get my service working as the front desk was inexperienced or had no knowledge at all of their services. The hotel's website mentioned a "gift shop" ....there was none. The hotel's restaurant also ran out of the cut of steak I ordered and called back later to suggest a higher priced fillet. I was charged $40.00 for a meal that should have costs $30.00 at the most. I was not impressed with security at this hotel as their was no pass needed to enter a gated garage ( gates didn't work).”

• The quality of the hotel far exceeded my expectations.
• The hotel restaurant was not fully functional and the buffet style breakfast is in need of improvement.

“My hotel stay was great. The location of the hotel was minutes away from Bourbon St and many other attractions. The rooms were in excellent condition considering the ordeal that this area faced with the last year. The hotel staff was helpful and courteous. I would recommend this hotel for a lodging option to anyone traveling to the area.”

• It was a nice hotel, some of the workers were nice but some were not.
• The air condition went out one night and it was miserable all night. I was up all night.

“Due to the air condition, I feel that I should have been offer another night stay. I was given a breakfast that was limit, and very nasty. May God bless them all.”

• The room was neat clean, efficient and the bed was wonderful.
• The counter in the bathroom was too high.

“I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful in helping me to get directions to my meetings. The only other negative comment is the fact that you could not enter the hotel from any floor of the parking garage. I arrived after dark and did not feel completely safe when parking.”

• Convenient location, Maids cam in my room while I was not completely dressed. Went down for breakfast but it was very expensive. We went else ware.
• Very expensive food service, $1.00 To make a local phone call.

• It was clean, quiet, and the room was very nice for $85.00 per night.
• Check-in time was not until 4:00 p.m.

“I am originally from the New Orleans area, but have not lived there for the past two years. I visit about every three months and stay in different hotels (in the Kenner and Metairie area), primarily because of price, how much I liked the room, etc. This hotel is one that I will try to stay in every time I visit the city now. It does depend on your needs, though, and this one fit mine. The hotel was clean, quiet, very reasonably priced and very conveniently located. That's about all I need. I had no special needs and didn't have to ask for anything. So, I'm not sure how the staff would respond to special requests. But, all in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel.”

• It was close to the people I was visiting.
• Not worth the price I paid for it.

“This is the only three star hotel in Perry and I expected much better. They have teenagers at the reception area that are there more to hang out than to work. The appearance of the room was ok. There was a bit of wall paper coming off of the wall. There was rust and mold in the shower. I'm not a tall man but I had to squat almost to get my head wet in the shower. Also, the bathroom light flickered when my wife used the hairdryer. When we checked out the staff was unfriendly. And to top everything off the free breakfast buffet sucked. I used to live in this town and would recommend a visit to Perry for anyone. but I would strongly recommends not staying at the Holiday Inn.”

“It was a nice hotel in a great location with easy access to highway. The location was somewhat difficult to find as the street has not yet appeared on the Jan 2006 version of Rand/McNally map. I initially parked and walked into the opposite building, thinking it was the hotel...since the hotel and the business building all have the "Galleria" logo. Overall, it was a great hotel. Aside from the carpet, everything else was great. I would recommend it highly.”

“This hotel housed the National Guard during post-Katrina aftermath and was just reopening to the public during our visit. The staff was EXCELLENT and they did everything they could to smooth out the bumps. I think that this hotel will only get better in the future.”
