“A great place to stay for a business trip. Not to family friendly at night, we witnesses some unusual business happening.” Dec 16, 2008 by
Ronalee from West Monroe,LA
“I recently stayed overnight in the New Orleans area at this hotel and it was very convenient to everything in the area. The room was clean & comfortable and no supplies were forgotten in the room. Although there was not a restaurant nearby, there was one opening in a week next door. Security needs to be a must at this hotel, because there was alot of congestion in the parking lot and loud car music playing in the middle of the night, making rest difficult. Parking lot security would solve the problem. Checking in and out was fairly easy with the staff that was on duty.” Jun 12, 2008 by

“I would stay here again. The staff was wonderful. I enjoyed the pool and we didn't have any cleanliness issues.” May 17, 2008 by
Ralph from Shreveport, LA
“This hotel is difficult to get to. You have to drive all the way around another, larger hotel to even get to it, after you exit the freeway. Once there, the staff were quite pleasant and helpful, but the room was not up to my expectations. The carpet had stains on it. The beds were too low, and were uncomfortable. Worst of all, at about 3:00 a.m. I was awakened out of a deep sleep by loud, quarrelling guests or others (perhaps non-guests) outside my room making loud noises, screaming at one another. I called the front desk to complain, and all he said was, "I'll send a security guard to check on it, Sir." By that time the noisy people were gone! I had a difficult time getting back to sleep after that. Also, at breakfast I almost slipped down on the slippery floor that the custodian was mopping. No sign was placed anywhere to warn guests about a slippery, wet floor.” May 9, 2008 by
Enrique from Niceville, FL
“Its location (causeway and i10) next to the galleria hotel (Marriott) is centrally located.” Apr 25, 2008 by
Haley from Shreveport, LA
“The hotel was just what I needed for my stay. The staff was very kind and helpful and my room was clean, save for a burn mark on the comforter right at the head of the bed, well stocked and had great amenities. The complementary breakfast was great and checkout was a breeze. Again, perfect for a one-night business stay.” Apr 14, 2008 by

“Hotel was old and in need of an update. The room smelled musty and the carpet was sticky. The internet did not work the last two nights that I was there.” Apr 8, 2008 by
Russell from Farmerville, LA
“The rooms were ok, but the outside is not pretty. It served the purpose I needed for the night.” Apr 1, 2008 by
Eva from Houston, TX
“Staff was nice and friendly.” Mar 31, 2008 by
Doug from Middletown, CT
“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Not the type of place I want to stay. Thanks for nothing.” Mar 20, 2008 by
Monica from Jackson, TN
“Would not stay there again. There are nicer hotels for the money that has breakfast.” Mar 17, 2008 by
Mike from Kooskia, ID
“The location was great. 15 minutes to downtown and 15 minutes to airport. Rooms were clean and comfortable.” Nov 26, 2007 by
Steve from Farmington, MO
“On the Interstate highway, easy to get on and off. Rooms are super clean, staff are very helpful, breakfast was exceptional (included waffle maker). We did not request the disabled room but we appreciated the size of the bathroom. We could not find one negative aspect except locations of the ice-machines.” Mar 29, 2007 by
Jeremy from Lake Charles, LA
“The room was basically clean and comfortable. The hotel website shows nearby places to eat (Denny¿s). There is definitely a Denny¿s close by. However, it remains shut down and has been shut down since the hurricane. The hotel was ok for one night. I would have been disappointed if I were staying longer.” Mar 28, 2007 by
James from Memphis, TN
“Economy room, used by a lot of construction workers.” Mar 6, 2007 by
Chad from Desoto, TX
“This hotel needs major renovations before I would suggest it as a place to stay. The staff was friendly and was as helpful as they could be.” Jan 21, 2007 by
Glenda from Miami, FL
“It was okay for the price. Perhaps, it is best to spend a bit more as you get what you pay for.” Jan 15, 2007 by
Doris from Chicago, IL
“It was ok to stay for a night, but not for a short vacation. It did not game the comfort I was expecting.” Jan 14, 2007 by
Robert from Pensacola, FL
“I have stayed at other la Quinta inn's in other cities and had a much better experience. The next time I travel to the new Orleans area I will choose another place to stay. Question #4 asked about the hotel restaurant. As far as I could tell it doesn't have one only a couple of vending machines. There was a Dennis restaurant next to the motel, but it was not in operating condition. The convenience store a couple of blocks away was a better choice to get something to eat. I was quite disappointed with my stay I like it and will continue to use your service.” Jun 30, 2005 by
Rosann from Houston, TX
“I would not recommend this hotel, it was in a bad location a lots of turns, just to get to it.” Jun 27, 2005 by
Nollen E. from Tupelo, MS
“The carpeting need a little TLC.” May 12, 2005 by
Connie from Hattiesburg, MS
“Great staff. Very helpful, pleasant. The hotel is located just a few minutes drive to the downtown area. Can't beat the price for a room and breakfast!” Apr 16, 2005 by
Ed from Gainesville, FL
“The original La Quinta in New Orleans, very well maintained.” Mar 7, 2005 by
Manny from New York, NY
“We were surprised because we always had good experiences. The people were unprofessional, our room was not cleaned up for an entire day... they just left a bag with towels hanging at our door. The cleaning people were loud and screaming outside the room talking about how they spend most of the time "taking breaks" instead of making up the rooms. Two lamps in our room were missing lightbulbs. On arrival we asked if we could have a single bed instead of a twins, and they denied our request, even though it was evident that the motel was half empty! Overall a bad experience. ” Feb 21, 2005 by
K from Atlanta, GA
“Not very good - quality low, although new renovation. Rooms smelled smoky.”
