“Overall the stay was excellent and will travel there again.” Jul 26, 2008 by
Dave from Columbia, MO
“We had a good experience at the hotel. Pool was nicely kept and clean. Front desk personnel could have been a bit more friendly. Seemed like a busy time when we arrived and people were short tempered. Although the room was nice and quiet and we had a restful sleep. Would go there again.” May 28, 2008 by
Kevin from Tupelo, MS
“Our children were looking forward to swimming and there was no pool. They said we could have used the pool next door at their sister hotel, but it was not filled with water.” May 10, 2008 by
Vicki-Starkville, M. from Starkville, MS
“It was not worth the money. The rooms looked like what you would see in a low budget horror film and smelled foul. The evening staff was very rude yet when checking out the morning staff seemed friendly. The lobby is very nice and we were impressed with the way it looked when we initially walked in but apparently looks can be deceiving. When we checked we went next door to the sister property Quality Inn where the lobby was not as nice but the rooms were larger, nicer, half the price and had the friendliest staff!” Apr 14, 2008 by
Sandra from Cleveland, MS
“This is a nice hotel, located in a fairly safe place and the staff is very accommodating.” Mar 30, 2008 by
Brian from Tuscaloosa, AL
“This hotel was ok, but it looked like it was a fixer upper. It looked like someone did some touch-up painting with either the wrong shade of color. The towels were missing and looked tacky. Overall, the place had the look and feel of being cheap.” Mar 24, 2008 by
Carrie from Tuscola, TX
“Overall met my needs. Non smoking rooms smelled strongly of smoke. Staff was friendly and accommodating.” Feb 15, 2008 by
Debra from Maben, MS
“If you have managers that do not work weekends, then you should have assistants to work when managers are not there. And the bad thing about it no one responded as if they were concerned at all.” Jan 17, 2008 by
Kristi from Tenaha, TX
“I would not stay at this hotel again. It was certainly not worth the price. The mattress in our room was hard and the pillows worn out. There were no trash cans in the room. We left our pillow there and when we went back to get it they didn't have any idea where it was. We had a very bad experience. Right before bed, I broke out in a rash and had to take a shower to stop itching.” Dec 7, 2007 by
Richard from Calgary, AB CA
“It its one of the worst I have ever visited. The room was so spartan that it did not even have a light on, above or near the work desk! I was there on a weekend, when there is no restaurant service ' an exception not noted in the AAA Tour Book from which I selected the hotel. At least the bar was open, and the only good thing I can say is that the bartender was competent and pleasant. He made up for a lot.” Nov 12, 2007 by
Wendy from Philadelphia, MS
“Good location for function I was attending--staff was friendly; heating unit was not functioning in assigned room, staff immediately moved us to another room without problems.” Jul 19, 2007 by
Janet from St. Rose, LA
“Easy to get to. Very neat and clean. Front desk staff very polite.” Jul 11, 2007 by
Stephanie from Dallas, TX
“I expected more from a Quality Inn. The clerk behind the counter had 3 to 4 children that were obviously her family, swimming in the pool next door. Later when my husband went down to get change for the soda machine, she was talking to a personal friend and ignored my husband until he finally interrupted. She said she didn't have five ones for his $5 bill. Other than the overall old, drab and run-down appearance and the bad service. I guess it was ok.” Jun 13, 2007 by
Gena from Edmond, OK
“I would not stay in this hotel ever again. For the price we paid, it was not worth the money. It was more like a Motel 6 or Super 8. We were very dissatisfied.” May 2, 2007 by
Rosalind from Baton Rouge, LA
“This hotel was very accommodating.” Jan 23, 2007 by
Kenneth from Tupelo, MS
“Good food in the restaurant but staff was not attentive; I felt safe even though hotel occupancy was down; front desk staff acted as though they could care less whether someone stayed there or not. But they were not rude just unconcerned.” Jan 17, 2007 by
Christie from Little Rock, MS
“Overall we enjoyed our stay at quality inn, I appreciated the fact that I was able to extend our checkout time by an hour to better accommodate us.” Jan 5, 2007 by
Kim from Carrollton, GA
“I like the hotel. There are several other hotels right near it, and all have metal fences. The burger drive-thru had to unlock its window (which Iżve never seen), and the hotel had a sign up about how they weren't responsible for lost/stolen property. The bright lights in the parking lot were a security measure, no doubt. These things said I suspect the area was still a pretty good one. I think it speaks more to the city than the neighborhood. I liked the hotel.” Aug 20, 2006 by

“OK stay. Nothing to brag about, but nothing really to complain about either. We had an early flight and there was no shuttle service, but we knew that when we booked.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jul 7, 2006 by

“Hotel is in need of complete renovation. It was clean but everything is shabby and out dated. No pool. Seems pool has been under repair for last couple of years.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jun 24, 2006 by
Michael from Prattville, AL
“I was put on the 3rd floor, key did not work, 2nd same. As far away as you could get was the second room. The pillow cases were filthy, there was an "Indian" smell of curry cooking in the room. People actually live in this motel. "Fallout" from the storm! Ice machine was on the 4th floor only. The second floor one was broken. Went to get breakfast and could not because of the "homeless" eating. There was no Regular coffee for the rooms and no internet. The air conditioner stopped working at 3 am and when I called about it they said they would make a note of it. ” May 12, 2006 by
Adley from Lake Charles, ME
“This is an easy to find hotel near downtown Jackson. The one person reception desk acted distracted and harried although we were the only individuals in the lobby. The room was OK. The bathroom floor was dirty, and the front desk was unable to get (or provide us with) extra pillows. Kind of a bummer! The so-called continental breakfast was pretty lame, and anyway we had no real reason to spend any more time at this place, so we had a real breakfast elsewhere.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Apr 1, 2006 by
M. from Cambridge, MA
“Quality Inn was located on the other side of downtown, across from the Convention Center. There was no workout room, so we were referred to the one at the Regency Inn across the parking lot, owned by the same person (the workout room there was in awful disrepair). The rooms were clean enough, but the entire hotel smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke masked by an even stronger floral deodorizer. If you are planning a leisure trip to Jackson, I would not recommend this hotel. There is no ambience, even though the facilities are nice enough. I would highly recommend staying instead in the "Fondren" area, which has many cute shops, cafes, and historic homes, and is a short driving distance to any attractions in the downtown area.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Dec 8, 2005 by

“The front desk, management, housekeeping were all rude and lazy. They banged on my door at 8:30 am on Sunday morning and demanded to clean my room. I told them I was still sleeping and requested they check back after 11 am. The women responded by saying to me you. When, I called the front desk to report the offense, they told me not to use profanity to them but I wasn't I was telling them what their employee had rudely spoke to me. I requested management and they said management was not available and could under no circumstance management be contacted. They didn't not clean my room even though I cleared out of the room by 10 am, during the entire five days there they cleaned my room once. They were lazy and rude. I will never stay there again ever.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Aug 30, 2005 by

“. It was not clean, it had a strange smell, there were all kinds of bugs in the room. The staff was indifferent to our concerns and more concerned with their personal phone calls. This was the first time I have ever gone for less than a 2 1/2 star hotel and it will be the last time. Although upon booking, I felt I had gotten a good deal, I would not have paid that amount to stay in that hotel and had it not been prepaid, I would have gone elsewhere.” 3 of 3 people found this review helpful.Jun 3, 2005 by

“Very disappointing. Have you ever been to a place so dirty that you did not want your feet to touch the floor? That's how this place was, except that, in addition, I did not want to sit in the chairs or have my face touch the sheets, either.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.May 18, 2005 by
Donald from Chicago, IL
“My stay was pleasant. The continental breakfast bar could be improved a little. Such as more variety, and perhaps a little more space in which to serve the quest.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Mar 21, 2005 by
Thomas E. from McElroy “This was one of the worst experiences that I have ever had in many years of traveling. Throughout the night a loud party was taking place in a nearby room. My wife and I complained to the attendant on 5 separate occasions. We could not contact the front desk and resorted to calling twice from a cell phone. I went downstairs to personally complain on 3 different occasions. Finally, at 2:00 a.m., my family and I left the hotel and moved to another hotel in the vicinity. The lack of concern by the staff was troubling. The apparent lack of security was also troubling. I can not recommend this hotel to anyone.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Dec 8, 2004 by
Wayne W. from Huntsville “The motel did not meet my expectations. The lighting in the room was poor, the trap in the sink didn't work and the overall cleanliness of the exterior was poor.” Sep 20, 2004 by
Christine J. from New Orleans, LA “The $25 charge for a pet was unexpected in an evacuation situation.” Sep 10, 2004 by
Shelley C. from Dallas “The outside of the hotel was not very well maintained but the staff was very friendly and very helpful. The room itself was OK.”
