• Staff was rude and did not address a problem.

“This hotel was bad. My wife and I stayed here to get away for the weekend. There was a marching band competition in town with 1000 plus teens at the hotel. The staff assured us that our floor was nowhere near where the bands were. However, they were all around us and we were awakened each night by screaming teens. We reported the incident to hotel staff and they did nothing to make the situation right. I will not stay here again.”

• The staff was over the top in every department.
• The rooms were OK but the bathroom was too confined.

“Expensive to park and use valet. The bathroom door touched the toilet and only one person could even move in the bathroom. It was a beautiful room with a great view of the stadium (you wouldn't want to watch a game from the window but you could see the players).”

“I had a wonderful experience. We were within walking distance of the Edward Jones Dome and the St. Louis Arch. Staff at the hotel were helpful and offered a shuttle for LaCledes Landing or airport if needed.”

“The only issue I had was parking. I was charged $16.00 a day with no reimbursement. I was pointed to the garage to park and told I would get a voucher. I assumed out of trust that parking was included. I later found a lot charging $5.00 a day right on Bush Stadium grounds. The Cards were out of town. That was the only disappointment . The reduction rate of the room and where the room was located helped eased the scam.”

• Bed was comfortable, pretty furniture
• charge for parking, room pricey, internet charge

“I was upset that they charged for parking as a guest I feel it should be included in the room fee. Especially since the room is on the pricey side. It was downtown and as we walked to dinner, there were shady people in the park next door....we didn't feel safe walking. Charges for internet were absolutely uncalled for. Even less expensive places provide free internet. I will definately choose a hotel that does not charge for internet and parking next time.”

• Lobby was well decorated.
• Valet parking was very unfriendly and expensive! Had to walk long distance and wait for car to be brought. For $25.00 daily. Rude valet.

“No frills, but nice. Fire alarms went off both nights, but that is to be expected with Mardi Gras weekend. You have to pay for parking regardless of whether its valet or not. Starbucks in lobby is convenient.”

• I loved the staff!
• Nothing at all.

“Wonderful staff, beautiful and clean hotel. I really appreciate the attentiveness and professionalism of the concierge and front desk staff. They answered all of my questions and were EXTREMELY pleasant. I love the St. Louis Hilton. I would definitely go back!”

• The Hilton met and even surpassed my idea of what I expected in comparisons to other hotels in the st. Louis area and even in the entire Mid West. US.
• Honestly the only thing I can say would have been a little more convenient would have been if there hotel had a fridge and microwave in the rooms.

“The Hilton at the ballpark is not only a upscale hotel facility but is wonderful environment to get away from it all the staff and associates of the hotel always are courteous. Infect coming to St. Louis for business or pleasure would not be an experience if one does not stay at the Hilton it completely blew me away.”

• Didn't get our room cleaned 1 day, had 2 ask 3 times for clean towels.

“Over all a decent stay, except for the last day when room service never came to clean, we had to wait 4hrs for clean towels, after calling the front desk 3 times & going down there once. I would suggest this hotel to a friend.”

• Fitness center, indoor pool, clean rooms, nice fluffy sheets and duvets.
• No free continental breakfast, internet free in lobby not in rooms.

“You have to pay for parking $16-24 daily, because it is downtown but very close to the ballpark. Great facilities (pool, business center, gift shop, fitness room). Very quiet and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and staff was friendly.”

“The staff was friendly. The main reason we stayed here was the closeness to the ball park. I loved the idea of walking to the part and after walking to TGI Friday's. I just wish the price wasn't so high because we probably won't be doing this every time we come to a ballgame.”

• The room size, the price, the expensive parking.

“The hotel was at a great location if you are only planning to be at downtown. The room we had was very cramped, the door of the bathroom almost hits the toilet, I think it's off by like 1-2 inches. Then, the self parking they had available was half a block away for 16 dollars a night. There were no signs telling you where the hotel parking was, so we ended up having to do valet for 24 dollars a night. I had never had so many hotel staff trying to sell me their services for tips/charges. For example, instead of leaving the newspaper outside, the guy knocked on the door so you had to tip him for the newspaper, then, some lady offered to bring us bottled water (for tips + charge) while waiting for the valet to bring us our car.”

• The location was very good for what we had planned.
• The room was not very clean, stains on the carpeting, hair on the bathroom floor.

“Definitely not what I expected for the Hilton. The carpet in the room was stained with what looked like water damage from the air conditioner. The bathroom had a dirty floor that didn't appear to have been cleaned in a while. Some of the staff was not very helpful. The wireless access was only free down in their lobby area, to use in the room it cost $9.95 and up.”
