  • They give out good cookies, their beds are comfortable, and there is plenty of things to keep kids busy.
  • Awesome and we liked everything.

  • Clean and attractive, great bed.
  • Charge for the Internet! It should be FREE!

“As you enter the hotel location of the bar makes you seem alive, buzzing with all ages engaged in conversations. Fireplace gave a comfy feel, decorations were sophisticated. Our room was close to the elevator but the long hall made it practically soundproof, We had a gorgeous and up-close view of the famous Arch out our expansive wall of windows. Bed linens were lovely and the bed was so comfortable. Our in room breakfast was delicious and just the right amount of warm and cold.”

  • The location was fantastic! We were able to walk to the arch and it was a five minute drive to the Brewery and Forest Park!
  • The heater in the pool and hot tub was broken. Also, housekeeping came at 8am and woke us up both days.

“We were pleased with this hotel's location. We saw a performance at the Fox. Have stayed here for a baseball game. The beds are comfortable, it is quiet and we had a good breakfast whose portions sizes were very big. We also had excellent service in the restaurant.”

  • Excellent view of Arch Center area.
  • No Bathroom Ventilation and inconvenient parking.

“We got a room here to be close to Laclede's Landing and the Arch Center Area. We were only 4 or 5 blocks away from the Arch and maybe and additional 4 blocks to Laclede's Landing. The walk is easy and well lit at night. Room wise, we were happy with all but the lack of bathroom ventilation. This is a great hotel if you are doing anything downtown near the Arch or the Landing. I especially recommend this hotel for people seeing a game at the Stadium.”

  • The bed was very comfortable; the fitness center was excellent; location and room are nice.
  • The shower was awful, no pressure. We also were interrupted several times about an emergency and had to leave the room to go to the lobby.

“This hotel is in a fantastic location (you can see the new baseball ballpark across the street) right in the heart of downtown. Great things about this hotel are: 1) the rooms are spacious and clean. 2) The beds are extremely comfortable. 3) I really liked having my own digitally controlled thermostat in my room. 4) The fitness center was fantastic. Each treadmill had its own remote controlled TV to watch with earphones available. 5) check in was quick and easy. The only things I didn't like: 1) we were in a handicapped room, even though we aren't handicapped, and consequently, the portable shower head that was in the tub was sub par. It didn't have any pressure and was hard to control. 2) We were interrupted several times during the day to leave our rooms immediately and take the steps to the lobby because of an emergency. I was in the shower when this happened, so this was a major hassle. After we go downstairs, no one told us anything and there were people just heading back up on their own, so we did also. Only to be told to go back down again about 1/2 hour later. We were never told when it was okay to go to our room or what the emergency was.”

  • Personnel and location were excellent. Very attractive.
  • Parking was not explained. Expected the hotel to have on-site free parking.

“Extremely helpful staff. Enjoyed the ambiance of the room. Ice was a bit of a chore, but acceptable. Parking was quoted at 14.00 daily for covered, protected parking. Parking at the stadium was 5.00 daily but was exposed.”

  • The beds, the sheets, the pillows (goose down or regular) are the best in the business.
  • The bathroom was WAY too small that you had to shot the door to use the toilet and the shower.

  • We were greeted by a manager as we were unloading our bags and asked if we had any questions OT problems that he could help with!
  • Nothing.

  • The staff was so warm and friendly, beginning right at the front door. Their kindness was appreciated.
  • Paying for parking across the street.

“Their customer satisfaction vision must be a high priority. Each person I met seemed to go out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. I requested extra coffee the first night and lo and behold, they must have assumed Id want it the next morning so they anticipated my request the next night. I liked that.”

  • Nicely decorated and very well maintained. Staff was very friendly.
  • Has two very large TV screens in lobby, but not visible from the lounge which has 3 small TVs above bar.

  • Valets locked keys in my car.

“Overall, I had a great experience in this hotel. It was convenient to the highways I needed to use to get around the west side suburbs of St. Louis. The only unfortunate part of the experience was the valet staff locking my keys in my car, and proceeding to try to use doorstops to pry my door open.”

  • The decor of the hotel was great with vintage Cardinals photos.
  • Parking lot a little expensive and a lengthy walk (in the winter cold).

“The hotel overall was excellent the staff was more than helpful, until the morning we were supposed to check-out. We requested a late checkout at 2pm which was granted but we were harassed from 1:30pm as the maid stood outside our door and knocked as the front desk continuously called the room. If you don't need a late checkout for any reason you should have a great experience. Despite this incident I would still stay again and recommend the hotel. If you are a guest in the city please take a quick walk to one of St. Louis' best restaurants Caleco's.”

  • The public areas are modern and attractive.
  • The room decor does not match the modern feel of the hotel.

“Overall very good, friendly staff, cleans, close to what I was there for. The biggest disappointment for this hotel is that they charge for both Wi-Fi and standard Ethernet connection for internet ($10 bucks a day!) which are commonly provided free by even the most modestly priced hotels such as comfort inn and HIE.”

“Other than the bar waitresses the hotel was a delight. The bar was very small and the waitress/bar tender did not know how to make drinks did not understand the menu and didn't even offer to ask anyone else. So different from the rest of the staff at the hotel!”

  • The hotel was very clean. We were able to check in early. It was convenient to our primary destination.
  • This hotel wanted to charge extra for everything. The room service fees were outrageous.

“This hotel has a lot of amenities however you can expect to pay to get them. The wi fi. The hotel was very nice but I would rather stay in a lower star hotel and get free wi fi and maybe a free breakfast.”

  • Overcharged by AAA for parking

“Great hotel, but did not stand by us when we told them that the sign at the Valet parking said $21 for overnight guests, and $21 a night for people not staying at the hotel. We were charged for 2 nights at $21 each and will probably be charged for the third-the hotel clerk should have made it right but passed the buck to AAA who is in charge of valet.”

  • Excellent location, high quality linens, knowledgeable and very helpful staff.
  • Self parking garage not well marked for hotel guests.

“We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was lovely, although the bathroom was a bit small, and the location was just perfect. We were within walking distance of the arch, the stadium, and the metro station, as well as some great restaurants. The staff was fantastic they even printed out directions to the mall that was closest to our route home! It was everything we were looking for in a hotel and then some.”
