  • The Hilton met and even surpassed my idea of what I expected in comparisons to other hotels in the st. Louis area and even in the entire Mid West. US.
  • Honestly the only thing I can say would have been a little more convenient would have been if there hotel had a fridge and microwave in the rooms.

“The Hilton at the ballpark is not only a upscale hotel facility but is wonderful environment to get away from it all the staff and associates of the hotel always are courteous. Infect coming to St. Louis for business or pleasure would not be an experience if one does not stay at the Hilton it completely blew me away.”

  • Didn't get our room cleaned 1 day, had 2 ask 3 times for clean towels.

“Over all a decent stay, except for the last day when room service never came to clean, we had to wait 4hrs for clean towels, after calling the front desk 3 times & going down there once. I would suggest this hotel to a friend.”

“You have to pay for parking $16-24 daily, because it is downtown but very close to the ballpark. Great facilities (pool, business center, gift shop, fitness room). Very quiet and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and staff was friendly.”

“The staff was friendly. The main reason we stayed here was the closeness to the ball park. I loved the idea of walking to the part and after walking to TGI Friday's. I just wish the price wasn't so high because we probably won't be doing this every time we come to a ballgame.”

“The hotel was at a great location if you are only planning to be at downtown. The room we had was very cramped, the door of the bathroom almost hits the toilet, I think it's off by like 1-2 inches. Then, the self parking they had available was half a block away for 16 dollars a night. There were no signs telling you where the hotel parking was, so we ended up having to do valet for 24 dollars a night. I had never had so many hotel staff trying to sell me their services for tips/charges. For example, instead of leaving the newspaper outside, the guy knocked on the door so you had to tip him for the newspaper, then, some lady offered to bring us bottled water (for tips + charge) while waiting for the valet to bring us our car.”

  • The room was not very clean, stains on the carpeting, hair on the bathroom floor.

“Definitely not what I expected for the Hilton. The carpet in the room was stained with what looked like water damage from the air conditioner. The bathroom had a dirty floor that didn't appear to have been cleaned in a while. Some of the staff was not very helpful. The wireless access was only free down in their lobby area, to use in the room it cost $9.95 and up.”

  • The view to the ballpark was phenomenal. The Hilton at the ballpark is exciting for being downtown and quite luxurious.
  • The Ballpark Hilton was still under construction and there was only one main entrance to get into the hotel.

“This was our 1st stay in St. Louis so did not know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised by the central location of the hotel and the extremely friendly staff had no problem making sure our 2 rooms were adjoining and had great views of the city Old Court Hus and Arch. We had a great time at St. Louis and thought the hotel accommodation at Hilton on the Ballpark was excellent.”

  • Elevators were really slow during busy times.

  • I liked the decor, the friendly staff and the valet parking as well as the bar area.
  • There was a problem with my bed linen and they were slow and had to return several times.

“The room was nice but the heat wouldn't shut off on its own, it was 80 in our room. The front desk said it was usually the opposite. We asked for more towels and soap and never received it. We ordered breakfast and I took it back to our room the scrambled eggs had about a inch of liquid still in the container. When I called they said they would bring us new eggs and then called me back and said I would have to come back down and get them because they didn't have anyone to bring them up. To many things went wrong”

  • My bath tub drain did not work and the hotel staff fixed the problem promptly.
  • I did not know that I had to pay extra for parking until I arrived at the hotel.

“This hotel is centrally located in downtown St. Louis and within short distance of the major interstates. The hotel offers a complimentary fitness room and morning newspaper. All in all, I enjoyed my stay. The hotel staff were helpful with off-site dining locations and directions. My one quibble - there is no mention on the hotel's website that guests must pay for parking. For the price, however, this hotel was a steal.”

  • Charge for the Internet! It should be FREE!

“As you enter the hotel location of the bar makes you seem alive, buzzing with all ages engaged in conversations. Fireplace gave a comfy feel, decorations were sophisticated. Our room was close to the elevator but the long hall made it practically soundproof, We had a gorgeous and up-close view of the famous Arch out our expansive wall of windows. Bed linens were lovely and the bed was so comfortable. Our in room breakfast was delicious and just the right amount of warm and cold.”

  • The location was fantastic! We were able to walk to the arch and it was a five minute drive to the Brewery and Forest Park!
  • The heater in the pool and hot tub was broken. Also, housekeeping came at 8am and woke us up both days.

  • No Bathroom Ventilation and inconvenient parking.

“We got a room here to be close to Laclede's Landing and the Arch Center Area. We were only 4 or 5 blocks away from the Arch and maybe and additional 4 blocks to Laclede's Landing. The walk is easy and well lit at night. Room wise, we were happy with all but the lack of bathroom ventilation. This is a great hotel if you are doing anything downtown near the Arch or the Landing. I especially recommend this hotel for people seeing a game at the Stadium.”

  • The bed was very comfortable; the fitness center was excellent; location and room are nice.
  • The shower was awful, no pressure. We also were interrupted several times about an emergency and had to leave the room to go to the lobby.

“This hotel is in a fantastic location (you can see the new baseball ballpark across the street) right in the heart of downtown. Great things about this hotel are: 1) the rooms are spacious and clean. 2) The beds are extremely comfortable. 3) I really liked having my own digitally controlled thermostat in my room. 4) The fitness center was fantastic. Each treadmill had its own remote controlled TV to watch with earphones available. 5) check in was quick and easy. The only things I didn't like: 1) we were in a handicapped room, even though we aren't handicapped, and consequently, the portable shower head that was in the tub was sub par. It didn't have any pressure and was hard to control. 2) We were interrupted several times during the day to leave our rooms immediately and take the steps to the lobby because of an emergency. I was in the shower when this happened, so this was a major hassle. After we go downstairs, no one told us anything and there were people just heading back up on their own, so we did also. Only to be told to go back down again about 1/2 hour later. We were never told when it was okay to go to our room or what the emergency was.”
