“The hotel lobby was beautiful. It was located near the airport, but with easy access to major highways leading to St. Louis. Parking was $10/day, but normal price for the area. The room was nice, with a nice sized bathroom. I only wished there had more complimentary services (water, Internet, or breakfast) but I knew it going in.”

“Room was comfortable, and hotel staff very polite and helpful. The restaurant staff was polite, but service very slow. It took 20 minutes to get our initial drink order, and the waitress was nowhere to be found on a few occasions.”

  • Very nice hotel facility overall. Very convenient to the airport.
  • No exhaust fan in washrooms, plus the surrounding area is not the nicest.

  • Parking cost.

“Hotel's proximity to the airport made it perfect for our needs. It seemed to have been recently redecorated and was very clean and staff very courteous. Only down side was that they charged for parking. We did not expect that at an airport hotel.”

  • The Bellman went out of his way to find great directions to the event I was in town for.
  • Pay parking.

“When we checked in the front desks was very nice, the bellman brought the bags to the room and then when I asked him about a location in town he left and came back with the best hand written directions, and was so nice. overall just a great stay, plan to stay here again.”

  • The very first thing that impressed me was the friendliness of the employees, I was very impressed by their attentiveness and friendly smile.
  • There was absolutely nothing I didn't like about this hotel.

“This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this hotel. I feel no need to ever stay anywhere else. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful, they always have a smile on their faces. The cleanliness of the hotel and rooms are extraordinary, it is very evident that the housekeeping staff really take pride in their work. I could tell the room was cleaned very thorough. They actually went above and beyond the call of duty. The hotel is very convenient to the airport and yet very close to Downtown. The shuttle service was also very pleasant with a kind and courteous driver that actually gets out of his seat to help with your luggage. I will most definitely recommend this hotel for anyone.”

  • Disappointed the pool and hot tub were under repair/not open.

“Very large well furnished room. Incredibly comfortable bed. All staff from bellman to front desk to housekeeping pleasant and friendly. Helpful with directions. Free shuttle to airport allowed us to ride the train to the packer/rams game and avoid traffic and parking in the snow! They did have arrangements with sister hotel Marriott for swimming/hot tub but inconvenient in winter.”

  • The bed was wonderful.
  • The glasses were dirty, room service was not helpful.

“At first appearance I thought the room was lovely. However, the bathroom sink & faucet was dirty, the remote to the TV didn't work, and the water glasses had lipstick on them and something inside of them and only had decaf coffee. I called at midnight to room service to see if I could get a pot of coffee delivered at 3:00 am because of an early flight. And was told I had coffee in my room and that I would have to call at 2:30 am to get it delivered. The point was to have the coffee as soon as I woke up. Not helpful at all!”

“This is an outstanding hotel in regards to the quality of rooms and the hotel staff. Everyone went out of their way to be professional and courteous regardless where I ran into an employee. The restaurant was also nice with a nicely equipped workout room inside the hotel also. The rooms were very clean and well furnished.”

  • The boarding pass terminal in the hotel lobby. It printed boarding passes for all the airlines.
  • Can't think of anything.

“We left our keys in the hotel room. We did not realize this until we were at the airport waiting to board the plane. I called to the hotel and the operator. Since time permitted, she arranged to have the hotel's shuttle bus driver bring them to the airport. We were totally satisfied with our stay.”

  • Very nice and surprisingly quite for being so close to the airport. Just stay at in a room in the front of the hotel.
  • They charged my credit card 204. 00 due to bad staff at the front desk.

  • The rooms were spacious and well laid out.
  • Elevator problems. At one point only had 1 working elevator.

“Nice place, great staff, lovely rooms and comfortable beds. The only problem I had with the hotel was the elevators. At one point on Saturday evening, there was only one working elevator, but the staff did everything they could to help even allowing the guest to use the service elevator as needed.”

  • The deluxe room. We loved it!
  • Guests should not have to pay for parking for just overnight. This hotel was not in the city where space is a problem.

“The hotel was attractive from the outside. The view of the airport from our window was impressive. The room was well insulated so we did not hear any noise from the airport or from cars on I 70. The beds were comfortable, the room spacious, the bathroom sparkling clean.”

  • The room was beautiful; I loved the whirlpool and workout room.
  • The parking situation was horrible, and the elevators took forever.

“I loved almost ever part of my stay at this hotel. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The pool and whirlpool were open late and the fitness center was well kept. I'd definitely return to stay. However, the there were four elevators for the building and three didn't seem to be working during my stay. It took forever just to get downstairs. And then the parking was awful. Four times I had to run back to the front desk from the parking lot to see why my parking card wasn't working and letting me out of the parking lot. It was really annoying. I didn't mind paying the parking fees, but never knowing if you were going to be able to get out of the lot due to the hassle of the parking tickets not working half the time was horrible.”

  • The parking lot is always full and you have to park a long way from the front entrance at night.

Be careful to ask that the restaurant food should be fresh. I got sick from the greasy and stale breakfast.”

  • Hotel is convenient to airport and not too far from where we need to go in sty. Louis.
  • Had trouble getting a roll away on one of our visit, after it had been promised to us twice.

“We've been fortunate to have gotten this hotel on several occasions (four times in the past 5 weeks) and, except for the problem with the roll away, have had no complaints. They've been very accommodating.”

“Very nice hotel, right next to the St. Louis airport (so you may want to request a room not facing the airport). The hotel was in excellent condition, very nice rooms, immaculately clean. I did order room service for dinner and was a little surprised that the room service menu wasn't a bit larger/and the prices were very steep.”

  • I liked the fact that the interior of the hotel was inviting. The exterior was nice, but was a little cold; however, the interior was very welcoming.
  • The general location of the hotel. It was not exactly in an upscale neighborhood.

“I very much enjoyed my stay at renaissance St. Louis. I traveled with my 5-year old whose favorite part was the swimming pool. We spent a lot of time there. Overall, the room was very comfortable. I did feel a little "nickel and dimmed" in regard to the fee for accessing the web and the daily parking fee.”

  • The Hotel Staff were the most courteous I have experienced in a long while.
  • The lighting in the bathroom was very poor.

“My business in St. Louis was morning and evening hours, which left my afternoons free to regroup and relax by the pool which I found very clean, therefore beckoning me to come in and relax. My room was very personal and gave me the feeling of not a hotel, but a security of home. The only disappointment was the accessibility of other restaurants, there were none close by.”

  • The Fitness room was great!
  • Didn't like the fact that we couldn't use a luggage cart-they had to do it for you. It took quite awhile to get to our room.

“Very nice and clean hotel. The fitness room was great! Lots of very nice equipment. The only convenience of the location was if you were flying. It's right near the airport. We, however, were not flying and there wasn't much to do near the hotel. Very nice hotel for the price we paid.”

  • Very plain for a Renaissance hotel. No style. Should be downgraded to another Marriott brand.

“5-star staff, but rooms disappointing for a renaissance hotel. I enjoyed my stay and the staff was friendly very convenient for someone who needs quick access to the airport. But very plain for a renaissance hotel. No style, uniqueness or character. Should downgrade to another Marriott brand. I stayed at an elite suite and this was at the same level as a standard room in residence inn or similar caliber hotel.”

  • The king size bed was comfortable. Even though I didn't use it the pool looked nice.
  • The room smelled like smoke even though it was non-smoking.

“The hotel is convenient to the airport and my rental car location was right across the street. There are many fast food places along the same road. The hotel was very nice and the staff I dealt with was friendly. The only drawback was that the room smelled like smoke and you had no choice but to pay to park your car.”

  • I really like the pool area and the rooms were great especially the beds! Very nice.
  • There was not a restaurant that was feasible to feed a family of 5 with small children.

“This was a nice place to stay and we really enjoyed the cleanliness and pool area. However, I wish that there were some sort of complimentary or cheaper breakfast options for families. I have stayed in many hotels and some being a smaller individually owned and they provided some sort of breakfast. That would be my only complaint. The overall stay was great!”
