• 24 hr. Room service.
• Expensive internet connection.

“Reasonable location. Parking expensive and an uncovered walk across the street. Internet connection ridiculously expensive - no wifi. Rooms comfortable - no refrigerator. Water in room $3.50 (free from tap.) This place nickel and dimes you to death. If you have the money to throw away it is OK but don't pay much for the room.”

• The view from our room was very nice.
• Two double beds which the hotel insisted on calling queens. No kings available.

“The hotel was clean and nicely decorated. The room was very quiet. The only negative part, and it was a big negative, was the absence of king-size beds. The staff was not at all accomodating about this and insisted on calling the double-size beds queens. My husband and I slept in separate beds because we cannot sleep together in a double bed.”

• The service was amazing! Every employee in hotel was friendly & accomodating.

“From the second we checked in we were treated with excellent service. They found out it was my boyfriends birthday and brought us cake to our room, upgraded our room and gave us free parking. Everyone from the room service to the bartender to the front desk were so friendly. The best hotel experience I have ever had.”

• Beautiful room and public spaces. Excellent service!
• Prices in the bar for a non-alcoholic beverage was excessive.

• Rooms were beautiful and most of all spotless clean.

“Great location in downtown St. Louis. Near some great little restaurants and a $5.00 cab ride to the ballpark. The rooms are decorated very nicely and the beds are comfortable. High on my list is the cleanliness, our room and bathroom were spotless.”

• Everything in hotel was an extra charge including parking.

“This was a beautiful hotel downtown that worked out brilliantly in easily walking to the Busch stadium, shops and restaurants. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and had maps printed for all guests on how to get out of town with all the roads being blocked off for a parade. The only downside to this hotel is that everything extra cost from the DSL to the parking.”

I stayed in the Standard room, not the Suite. The hotel was clean, and pleasant. But its not as nice accomodations. The rooms were small, and AC was loud. Staff has excellent customer service, but theres really nothing to do. The concierge was awesome, and tried her best. If you want a romantic weekend then this hotel has potential. If you want to have fun, then get something around the Arch area. Oh, parking is 14 a day.”

• Hotel was conveniently located to most attractions.
• The rooms were not 4 star quality and paid for parking everywhere including hotel.

“Overall, this is a very nice hotel with only a few minor flaws. The largest flaw in trying to consider this hotel as a 4 star hotel was the rooms. The beds were comfortable but the furnishings and amenities were not spectacular. Parking was $14 a day and the parking garage was across the street. it also was for public use so finding a parking spot was difficult at times.”

• Beautiful rooms, lobby, etc. Staff was helpful, housekeeping quick address issues, and security also quick.
• Pool had way too many people in it mid-evening to swim and by next morning pool was empty, but very dirty.

“Front desk staff was accommodating to needing adjoining rooms for children. Valet parking always prompt and very nice. Rooms were very nice, beds and linens very comfortable. Great bath products, always bring them home to use.”

• The lobby was nice and it was located in a very good location.
• Our room was very dated worn and smelled. We were moved to another room that also smelled although it was a different smell - neither were pleasing.

“This hotel had a wonderful lobby and on the ground floor looked like a 4 star hotel. The location is awesome! And if you want to spend time in the loop, central west end or Lafayette Square this is for you. The hotel is walking distance from City Museum and is close to some funky shops and cafes.”

• Called and confirmed king bed. Ended up with two doubles.

“I bought on Priceline and called to request king bed. The hotel confirmed it, yet when I arrived all they had available was two double beds. Nothing better than spending your anniversary with the wife sleeping in separate beds.”

“We checked into the room, only to find the TV at an awkward position for viewing from the bed. We called down to the front desk and they had us ready to move within minutes. Staff was very nice and accommodating! The room service was very tasty, but a little overpriced.”

“I wasn't sure what to expect, I'd never stayed at this type of hotel. I was impressed, the staff was friendly, couldn't do enough to make sure your stay was the best. Clean comfortable rooms, even the halls were clean and comfortable. I've stayed at hotels where the hallways were so hot or cold and stuffy/stinky. Not this hotel. I'd stay there again anytime.”

“This hotel was lovely. Very neat and clean. The staff was so friendly. We especially appreciated lady that checked us in and then put on her hat and gave us more information on things to do, then we could possibly get through! Rooms comfy, beds were small but great linen, clean. Very late at night we requested more pillows and they were brought up to us very quickly.”

• Good location, good food, quiet.
• Mattress on the bed folded to the middle, no support.

“The staff was very kind to give us a handicap room since I had a broken leg. The only bad thing about the hotel was the bed. The mattress caved in the middle. It was difficult to get comfortable. Both of us had sore backs in the am.”

• At first glance it appears very nice.

“Definitely need to address maintenance issues with the air/heat ventilation in guest rooms. There was a strange buzzing noise most of the time we spent in the room. Also no fan in the bathroom. The concierge was absent from the desk in the lobby every time we looked for him/her. The only staff that seemed on the ball was the bell staff.”
