• The heavenly bed certainly lives up to its name. The hotel was quiet, comfortable, very relaxing, enjoyable experience for my husband and me.

“The Westin St. Louis is everything a four star hotel should be. It has friendly, helpful staff, amazingly comfortable rooms and a peaceful, relaxing ambiance. My husband were traveling for pleasure and thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at this hotel. I highly recommend it.”

• Spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Aesthetically pleasing.
• All of the extras were expensive, like wireless internet, parking, beverage bar in the room.

“The hotel was very well maintained and right across the street from the baseball stadium. The hotel was also near the Arch and football stadium. We were able to get around the city without renting a car. Overall, great experience.”

• Very spacious rooms and a beautiful lobby.
• No vending machines. Cost of mini bar was a little high.

“Very spacious rooms and lobby. Only negatives would be no vending machines and the cost of the minibar items was a little high for my budget. Great service, workers were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location (near the ballpark). Highly recommended. But take your own soda in your bag and any other snacks you may want.”

“This was a lovely hotel located right across the street from Busch Stadium. I asked for a room with a view of the stadium and we got it! We were located on the 6th floor and had a magnificent view.”

• No complimentary parking with an overnight stay.

“The Westin is a great hotel. They work very hard to accommodate their guests. As we were coming to St. Louis to attend a Cardinal's game, we chose to reserve a stadium view room. Without hesitation and without our asking, the desk clerk offered his apologies and upgraded us to a suite. After the game, our room service order was delivered in about fifteen minutes, which was much faster than the time indicated to us for delivery. We also pre-ordered breakfast for the next morning and it was delivered precisely at the time we requested. Simply great service in beautiful surroundings. We will stay at the Westin again.”

• Hotel was very clean, the hotel staff was very friendly, and the location of the hotel was great.
• Parking was very convenient with valet, but would be all that I could come up with that was not optional.

“While I was a bit disappointed in the level of luxury provided at this hotel I was expecting super plush based on recommendations, the staff was incredibly genuine, friendly and helpful and went out of their way to fix any inconvenience.”

• All non smoking, without any smoking areas that were covered.

• Internet seemed expensive.

“We loved this hotel. The staff was friendly. The room was huge and nicely decorated. The bathroom was to die for. It had a separate tub from the shower. There are not many hotels that do that anymore. It was the weekend of turning the clocks back. The hotel was kind enough to deliver several messages to make sure we remembered to set out clocks.”

• Great accommodations for Cardinals game across the street, the room was very nice, would like to stay again soon. Great family weekend.

• Shower, bath, counter space, comfort of bed, and overall cleanliness are great.
• Toilet is too close to the wall; food is way too expensive for breakfast. Exercise facilities are ill-kept. Needs microwave and fridge in room.

“Convenience to Bush Stadium and surrounding activities, room size, and bed comfort, ability to control room temperature, shower size, water pressure and counter space were great. However, they need to add a few things, mentioned above, to justify asking price and 4-star rating.”

“The hotel is right next to Busch Stadium and right down the street from the hockey rink. The outside of the hotel is very subtle; it blends into the environment. The lobby is pretty typical, but the rooms are beautiful. I got a handicap accessible room, and I was told it was much bigger than most rooms. I was giant - king bed, nice big L-shape desk, TV cabinet, etc and still plenty of room to move. View was not great (parking deck), but I was not there for the view. The bathroom had a comfortable tub and a separate, tiled shower. Absolutely fabulous - if you get a chance to stay here, jump on it!”

• It was just an overall luxurious hotel. I have stayed in Westins before, but this one was top. The bathroom was unbelievable.

“It was wonderful and the size of the room as well as the bathroom was great. The decor of the room and the richness was very luxurious. Would love to stay there again, but of course for the price.”

“We had such a lovely stay this weekend. It is in a great location downtown next door to the stadium and you can even take the Metro from the airport to the stadium exit and it drops you off right outside the door to the hotel. The hotel is beautiful, classy and modern. The staff was professional and very friendly and helpful. Our room was very elegant, we had an arch view too and I want the bathroom in my house! The bed is so comfortable. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!”

“I have stayed in just about every downtown motel at least once. It was much more than I ever expected. I liked the calm, quiet atmosphere and the layout of the hallways. The rooms were large, comfortable, clean, and classy.”

• I wish the price could have been a little cheaper to fit my budget better.

“The reasons we like to stay at the Westin are: location to the ball park and the Metro Link, and the beds and linen the Westin uses. We always get a good nights sleep when we stay at the Westin and that is important to those of us who have a 6 hour drive home the next day.”

“Fantastic hotel for the price. The location is perfect at a light rail station, so you can avoid the taxi fare to and from the airport. Very modern decor with an extremely helpful concierge. The only minor disappointment is that they did not offer nor sell any newspapers on site. They suggested a trip outside in the 15-degree weather.”

• Checked into wrong room then a huge hassle to change rooms and still not the right one.

“I booked this hotel for an anniversary because of location and the pictures from their website. After arriving at the room, it was the wrong one. Then had to check into another room and it was still not the room I reserved. The room was nice but had a huge desk instead of a couch which ruined the mood. Not for romantic getaways.”

• Excellent decor worthy of a 5 star hotel.
• There was a lot of construction nearby making access to the hotel somewhat difficult.

“I would rate this hotel as a 5-star hotel. The service was excellent and the meal cost and quality was outstanding and better than what would be expected for 'hotel food'. Since this is a relatively new property, it was spotless and contained the latest design features in the room. The bathroom is a showpiece! I would recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was large, clean with more than enough towels.
• The extremely contemporary atmosphere made it too business oriented.

“We were quite disappointed as we called to confirm that they book us in for a double and when we arrived we received a single king. We had to order a roll away for the grand child to sleep on. Our confirmation was for a double and they did not go the extra mile to accomodate our needs. Also we were disappointed that a hotel at that price and star rating did not have a pool which we were looking forward to.”

“This hotel is beautiful, and right next to the metro and Cardinal's stadium. We live near St. Louis and my husband and I were only out for a "date," so I don't really see how this is much of a vacation spot, but for a bit of luxury in St. Louis, this was perfect. The bathroom had a separate glass shower and DEEP tub, the bed had a feather top, soft sheets and mounds of pillows that I wanted to get lost in. We ordered room service for breakfast, and the food was delivered hot, in large portions, with all of the details taken care of. Staff was courteous and professional- I will be back!!!”
