• Beautifully appointed, good-sized room.
• There's only street parking, which is ok on weekends, but would be impossible otherwise. Or $20/day.

“Built in 1913 and seems to be recently re-modeled. The hotel is compact and dignified. I always like free Wi-Fi. It's neighborhood is good but restaurants seem to be sparse. Excellent location for those doing business in downtown St. Louis.”

• The customer service, everyone was so friendly. The room was perfect. Just what we needed and room service was very reasonably priced!
• No refrigerator in the room!

• Great location within walking distance to downtown ballparks.
• No free parking.

“The staff was very courteous and helpful. They turned us on to a cheap way to get tickets for the sold-out cardinal's game through a special promotion. It was within easy walking distance to the stadium and the riverfront. I was treated as I was staying at a very fancy and expensive 4-star hotel. The only downside was the valet parking rather than parking lot, but it was to be expected being downtown.”

• Room service did not get it right, and had 4 levels of charges!

“Right in the heart of downtown, omni provided a very large room with nice beds and typical hotel amenities. They had a buffet breakfast available, and mostly all day room service, though the late night selection was poor.”

“It's a clean hotel and good location. There was no hot water the morning of checkout, and if you were dining or enjoying the lounge, you had to go downstairs to use the restroom.”

• I liked How quiet the hotel was. Very relaxing for adults.
• There was really nothing that I did not like. I found no faults.

“This was an excellent location for the entertainment I was after in St. Louis. I liked the old world charm and the gracious manner of the hotel. I liked the fact this was not a cookie cutter hotel.”

• Wasn't real happy with the location in town - but it was great for what we needed.

“Majestic is correct, from the registration desk to the old mahogany bar - it was beautiful. Staff was courteous and helpful. Food in the bar was EXCELLENT!!! Some of the best I've had at a hotel restaurant and reasonably priced. A+++”

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit St. Louis for leisure and sight seeing. The location is too good - only blocks away from the Gateway Arch, Busch stadium, Union Station and other tourist spots. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We had a great trip to St. Louis staying at this hotel.”

• There was nothing my family did not like about this hotel.

“Situated in a 90+ year old building, you can tell the Omni Majestic has retained the charm and quietness of a hotel from a by-gone era. When we walked through the front door we looked for the "check-in" area. We were rather surprised when the gentlemen at the desk by the door introduced himself as the manager. There was no "check-in" area. All the paperwork for our reservation was in order. The staff was wonderful - from the doorman to housekeeping. They were friendly, knew the area and informed us of local events taking place the next day. We would definitely stay at the Omni Majestic the next time we are in St. Louis.”

• $20.00 per day parking and $10.00 continental breakfast.

“The hotel was beautiful and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were very nice. The $10 continental breakfast was a little much for what you got. Most people would eat cereal/muffins or the omelet bar, not both. An omelet can be purchased for half this price elsewhere, although traveling for breakfast was inconvenient. I would definitely stay there again, however, if travel was purely leisure and no time schedule/conference to attend.”

• Good location. Not many room service amenities, etc.
• Mandatory valet parking should be disclosed at time of purchase. Surprises of this nature are not the desired.

“Unfortunately, this hotel did not meet expectations. I have stayed in Omni hotels in the past and have always been very pleased. The room was very small, no amenities on the floor I stayed on-had to to another floor for ice. Housekeeping did not come to tidy room until after 5 PM on the second day. I was charged $18 a day ($36 total) for Valet parking, when my vehicle sat in the front parking area (where we parked to check in) until 1 AM on the day we left. Food wasn't bad, but restaurant closed at 11 AM on Sat and did not reopen until 4 PM. Hotel staff could not give simple directions to places in immediate area. Carpets in room were very dirty, television was small with not the best reception. I would definitely not give this hotel a *** rating. I have stayed in Super 8 and Motel 6's that were cleaner and had nicer rooms.”

• Having check in at a regular desk, not a counter, was a little disorienting.

“Cozy, slightly elegant, like your grandmother's home. Nice furniture and decorative touches. Within walking distance of Washington Avenue and The Landing where there are many unique restaurants and nightclubs.”

• Room description led me to believe I had a 2 bed room not a king. I wanted 2 beds.

“Our room was clean & well appointed. The television had several channels which were quite snowy. Employees were very friendly. I was not told there was an $18 valet parking fee on any web site I checked. ”

• Beautiful historic hotel, large suite like rooms, fantastic staff who went out of their way to make my stay perfect.
• The room's air conditioning was hard to adjust so the room was extremely cold at night.
