  • The entire family was very happy with the rooms, the location near shopping & Busch stadium.
  • Unable to obtain extra washcloths, blankets or pillows after 7pm due to no personnel in the room service department.

“Great hotel, especially for families with older children. We rented two rooms; our kids [ages 15, 18 & 20] had the room next to us. Both rooms offered plenty of room for privacy and each had an extra TV for those who chose to stay up late. The five of us were able to meet in one room and comfortable watch a movie together. The staff was friendly and caring. Highly recommend.”

“The hotel experience was terrific except when I got our credit card bill. We were charged for honor bar items that we did not use. I called to get the problem corrected only to be told they had no record of our stay or the charge. Unfortunately we had to dispute it with the credit card company.”

  • Very large room, it was fantastic, and with a family of 5 space was greatly appreciated and it was nice on top of that.
  • $17 per night to park.

“Well, this is definitely relative to everything, but the room was a terrific surprise. 2 queen beds, a couch, 2 chairs, table, kitchenette, whirlpool tub and separate stand up shower and literally twice the square footage of a typical hotel room. Not sure if all the rooms at this place are like that because the building may have been something else before and remodeled into a hotel. Although $17 additional to park.”

“The Sheraton is an excellent hotel and I would recommend staying there to all of my friends and family. It is conveniently located between the Union Station and the St. Louis Cardinals Busch Stadium and it is in walking distance of many things to see in Downtown St. Louis. This hotel is great and I will stay there when I go back to St. Louis again. Staff is friendly and nice and they make sure you are having a good stay.”

  • We had a suite-there were 2 TV's. Very quiet-great air conditioning.
  • Room could have been cleaned a little better on a daily basis.

“This hotel had a great location because it was near Busch Stadium. There was a shuttle to and from the games that you did not have to wait long at all for. They had great work out facilities. All of the staff was very accommodating.”

“Overall, we had a very pleasant stay in St. Louis. The hotel looked great very clean with a large lobby. The metro link stop was across the street and was free between 11 am and 1 pm. The hotel restaurant food was good; we only had breakfast.”

  • It is very close to the Metrolink train station, which connects it to almost all major points in the city.
  • Parking for guests was expensive.

“Overall, I was very happy with the hotel. The hotel has recently become a non-smoking hotel. However, the two rooms that I had both had the smell of smoke in them. The 5th floor used to be the smoking floor, and that's where my rooms were. Once you got past the smoke smell, the rest was really nice. The staff was friendly. The location is great. I really enjoyed my stay here.”

“The hotel was very clean and attractive, the only thing I did not like about our room was the slight smell of mildew in the front area, as long as the A/C was on, the smell was nonexistent, but other than that everything was very pleasant. My mom, sister and I were very happy with our stay. The attendants were very helpful, and extremely nice. when we got there we were greeted by the csr and she upgraded our room from standard to a suite with the view of the gateway arch, it was great! That is one place I wouldn't mind revisiting, with the exception of having to pay for parking as a hotel guest.”

“Coming from Illinois, the hotel was unbelievably easy to get to, as it is just minutes from the highway. The staff was friendly from the second of our arrival until the moment we left. The room was clean and spacious. Overall, a very nice experience.”

  • The bed was comfortable and the in-room coffee was Starbucks.
  • Too far away from main attractions, charged $17 a day for parking.

“This should not be rated as an upscale hotel. The lobby appears to be, but the rest of the hotel doesn't match the star rating (fitness room was nice though). Unless you are going to St.Louis strictly for business I would not stay here. It is too far from main attractions in downtown St. Louis and is on the edge of a very questionable part of the city. Also, they charged $17/day for parking which is more than other hotels in St.Louis that are much, much nicer. Staff was very rude when I questioned why they wanted to charge me more extra coffee packages. They tried to tell me I took it from the honor bar when in fact coffee wasn't even a choice on the honor bar. I have stayed at most all the comparable hotels in the St. Louis area (Renaissance, Millennium) and the Sheraton was not even close to being in the same realm. Unfortunately.”

  • Staff didn't seem to be 'all together' - several mistakes were made and repeated.

“Hotel is very nice and from its appearances and charges for everything - seems to be an upper class. But staff left a lot to be desired from an upper class hotel when you're paying for internet and local phone calls. Front desk staff was always helpful and friendly, but housekeeping, room service and phone services all made multiple mistakes and some of the mistakes were even repeated daily! Don't think the hotel is worth all of the extras you have to pay while staying there.”

“Having stayed at many hotels around the country, I was shocked when I was asked to provide a credit card for incidentals. I was told this was "Sheraton Hotel Policy." However, no other hotel in the immediate vicinity (Hyatt, Holiday Inn) made thus request of its guests, and several other people in my group did NOT have to supply a credit card. When I told this to the hotel manager on duty (the actual manager was on vacation), he refused to eliminate the credit card info, and when I told him that I would no longer stay at this hotel, he responded with "That's your choice, sir". An extremely frustrating experience in an otherwise great trip to St. Louis. I'll never stay here again.”

  • They charged for everything. At this star level, there should be more included amenities.

  • The hotel was really beautiful. My husband and I were well taken care of.
  • The hotel was on the edge of a sketchy part of St. Louis.

“My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at the Sheraton St. Louis City Center. It was beautiful, spacious, clean and economical. Our only complaint would be the location. It is on the edge of downtown and not in the center where most of the attractions and dining are located.”

  • The room was very big and so was the bed. The room was cozy and the bed was very comfortable.
  • I did not like that they charge 17.00 for parking. I was very upset by this!

“Everything was great and exceeded my expectations. The only thing I disliked was the fact that they charge 17.00 to park overnight. They told us we could park in the rear parking lot for 6. 00. Come to find out that parking lot was only for 7 hours. We ended up paying $6.00 for that and then the $17.00 for the hotels parking garage. Needless to say we were very unhappy that we paid $23.00 to park.”
