• Entire hotel including pool area was clean, and comfortable.
• Would have liked a refrigerator in room like it stated on the list of amenities.

“Overall, the experience was good. The people at the front desk were not very friendly and did not program the keys they gave me. After driving to the back of the hotel, unloading our car and trying the key to get into the hotel (not room, the hotel itself) I had to walk back to the front and get new keys.”

• The location.
• The noise level in the hotel was too loud.

“The doors slamming throughout the night on the second evening of our stay were a nuisance and disturbed our rest. This level of noise continued until well after midnight.”

• It was close to union station.
• It was not a "10" minute walk to the arch.

“We spent the night before in a Holiday Inn Express and it was so much nicer and provided us with a great breakfast, free drinks and popcorn in the room, etc. We were a little spoiled. The bottle of water in the room had a price tag of $2.50. Holiday Inn Express was $20 less and had many more amenities.”

• Very neat and clean staff was the nicest I have met in a hotel.
• Sign is hidden drove by the first time.

“This hotel was very will put together! The staff was actually friendly and kind, the room and hotel were immaculate, breakfast was not free but it was awesome! Also, located less than 5 minutes from the best night life in the mid west.”

• I have stayed here several times. Appreciate the free parking.
• Nothing.

“This hotel is very nice and convenient. However, it seems anymore when I check into a hotel they usually give me a king bed. When I asked at this hotel if I could get a room with 2 doubles, he said he didn't have any available. I asked if they were full and the guy replied "just about. I noticed that there were not many cars in the parking lot at night so I knew the hotel was not full.”

• Location, size of room, parking, cleanliness, helpful staff.
• For some reason you had to ask to use the pool. Not open all the time those hours said it was. They did open it for us when we asked.

“Location was great. Parking was plentiful and included in the price. Lobby was beautiful. Room was clean when we got there but not cleaned for some reason our first night but were given linens when we told them of the problem. Bed and other furniture were new and well cared for. Great that it is smoke free. Staff was very helpful.”

• I liked the room.
• The restaurant in the hotel, the employees were rude and the food barely edible.

“They stated you would get a free breakfast with your room. When I went to pay the very rude man who barely could understand English explained "I was wrong" I reread the ticket it did not say anything about a continental breakfast i.e. donuts.”

• I appreciated the business center in the lobby for checking e-mail.
• Breakfast was not complimentary.

“Stayed for a cardinal's game. Walked about a mile to the park so location wasn't the best but it wasn't bad either. Union station was on the way which was nice. Staff and facilities were acceptable.”

• The room was kept very clean and the staff that cleaned the rooms was very cooperative and friendly.

“The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The location was excellent and safe. It was easy to access all areas of St. Louis from this location. The only problem we encountered was with the front desk staff.”

• Ice machine didn't work extra charges on my card.

“Clean and downtown, I didn't like the fact that I was charged $20 after I returned home for no reason. Was told at checkout no extra charges for the rooms. Guest next door kept us up till 3 a.m. And even after a call to the front desk at 2 a.m. Nothing was done. I would not stay at this hotel again even if it was free!”

• Attractions are not in walking distance and will need a car or taxi to get around downtown.

• The swimming pool had separate towels; you did not have to bring towels from your room.
• I was unable to connect to the Internet; the front desk gave me a help desk number. I was on hold for over an hour and could never connect.

“Very nice for the money and the view from my room was beautiful! The St. Louis skyline is really nice at sunset. The staff was very nice to my children, and I did not feel like I was inconveniencing the staff when I needed something. They do need to work on their Internet, I missed a deadline because I could not log on. I will be coming back!”

“We expected much nicer accommodations for 2.5 star rating-at least a small continental breakfast and we even had to pay for local calls. There was no downtown view or anything just a room with 2 beds and a toilet, but it was clean smelling. We enjoyed the nice indoor pool and spa.”

• The location of this hotel was very good the check in and check out was very fast.
• The swimming pool area was lack of locker. We could not change our clothing¿s at swimming pool area. We had to go back our home.

“A good mid priced hotel convenient to downtown but not right downtown. I was satisfied overall with the hotel and will stay there again. The only negative is that the restaurant is only open for breakfast, no lunches, any dinner.”
