• The shower nozzle was the best ever.
• The desk clerk couldn't understand how to run my credit card.

“The hotel was in a not-so-nice part of town, though with Jackson that's not difficult to come by. There was a security guard posted at the front door during the evening and the desk clerk was not knowledgeable at all with check-in procedures. The room itself was a standard clean, though the toilet was in crooked and part of the light switch had been bashed in. Overall good for an overnight stay but definitely not a family place.”

• It provided somewhere for us to lie down while in town for a family reunion.
• The fact that it is such an old facility.

“First, there was no bath tub for the four-year old. The towel rack was falling off the wall and the linen were not cleaned. The carpet needs to be replaced - looked a bit icky. The maid ignored the do not disturb sign and tried to come in the room our first morning there, while we were spending two nights there.”

• It had great amenities.
• The location was not good.

“I'm usually not a complainer. However, I thought that my travel companions and I made simple requests that should have not been a problem. When we arrived in our room, there were no towels. The clerk at the front desk said that there were no clean towels. But that the maid would be in and we could check in the morning. When I returned to the desk in the morning, the maid had just arrived and still no clean towels. The clerk was very nice and got clean towels from the other room.”

• I enjoyed the continental breakfast that they provided.
• The front desk staff really wasn't very helpful.

“The room was nice, the bed was comfortable, the continental breakfast exceeded my expectations.”
