• Convenient to airport.
• Failed to give wake-up call. 1st room heater broken.

“Perfectly adequate for my pre -flight needs, but both wake-up call missed and non-functioning room alarm clock caused nearly missed shuttle to airport. They immediately moved me from room with non-functioning heater, but it suggests poor maintenance.”

• Volunteered to take us to the mall, restaurant, or where ever we wanted to go.
• Not a good selection of restaurants nearby.

• For the price it was wonderful and well worth it.
• Not enough parking.

“The hotel was great. There was some construction going on inside the casino but it was quite at night. The only thing they really need is a larger parking garage. They only have a 2 storey garage for a hotel that need at least 4 floors to park on.”

• The hotel was very sufficient in meeting the needs that I required for my business stay in the New Orleans area.
• There were no unpleasant experiences with this hotel.

“The Fairfield Inn in Kenner is a very nice hotel and I would certainly have my family stay in one. That would be the highest compliment that I could give a business. I am very selective about where my family stays.”

• Presentation, location, and staff was awesome!
• We had no choice but to wake up/get up at dawn because the curtains do not close!

“Our stay for the most part was awesome. But, we could not understand why they had dark curtains hung but would not close. It bothered me enough to call the front desk at 3:30 am to ask about this and all they could say was were sorry.”

• Employees were quite nice and helpful!
• A bit of a distance from our 'goal' - New Orleans.

“We had to book this hotel at the last minute, and it worked out just fine! We were staying the next night in New Orleans and needed a place for the first night in LA. It was a bit expensive to get a ride to downtown NO, but the hotel itself meet and exceeded our expectations.”

• The hotel has great access to major highway to New Orleans.
• It's hard to find from the airport if it your first time in that town.

• Rooms need a little bigger TV.

“It was a great hotel for my stay. I was there for a graduation. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean. Good water pressure in the shower. The continental breakfast was good because they had some variety it wasn't just Danishes and coffee like most hotels. Convenient from interstate and airport.”

• Helpful staff arranged early a.m. Taxi as too early for shuttle.
• Business center and computer poorly lay out and difficult to use.

• Free internet access, free parking, and lots of channels on TV.
• Shower water temperature very difficult to adjust.

“Nice place -well maintained. Free parking free internet, lots of channels on TV {no lodge net!} Hotel difficult to access because of left turn restrictions. I stayed in a handicapped room. The hand-held shower head was mounted on a bar for up and down adjustment. The problem is that the water spray is so restricted, and the temperature adjuster is so far from the shower head, that it takes a good 30 seconds before any change in temperature is felt. It takes forever to set the right temperature. If you bump the adjuster while in the shower, you have to start all over again. Also, the ventilation fan roared like a freight train.”

• Just changed to non smoking facility and you could smell the smoke for the first 10 or so minutes you were in the room.

“I felt this hotel to be very clean, large enough room that we didn't feel cramped. The beds were comfortable.”

“Free shuttle to/from airport (caution: it only runs once per hour). Within walking distance of some nice restaurants in Kenner. Friendly staff. They do a good job of making travelers feel at home.”

• HBO sound wasn't working.

“The staff was really good about taking care of changing our room when we returned to find out the sprinklers were turned by another guest down the hall and soaked our carpet with water. They quickly gave us another room. Breakfast was great and the shuttle between the airport made a great weekend trip.”

• Hard to get to via road, had to go pass, turn around and come back to get into parking...

• Rooms and hallway is very clean. Common area well maintain, like new.
• Spa not working.

“Hotel is north of airport. Easy access to I-10. Lots of free parking. Close to many restaurants. Room carpet looks new and clean. A/C works great in hot summer. Bathroom is simple but clean. Water pressure is good on the 3rd floor. Complimentary breakfast has the usual simple stuff. Not too exciting for have longer stay.”

• There people hanging outside the parking, not secuity guards. The staff was very rude, room smelled horrible, bathroom had lots of mildew.

“This hotel by far was one of my worst experiences ever. The conditions were deplorable and the rates were too expensive for those conditions. I was afraid to fall asleep in that room.”

“Quick and easy check in. We requested a double non-smoking and were given just that. They even asked what floor we wanted to stay on. We asked for ground floor and were given keys and directions to the room. We were advised about the free breakfast and told to have a nice evening. The room was typical Fairfield. Nothing out of the ordinary. Comfortable bed but flat pillows. Planes fly directly over the hotel but much to my surprise, noise was not a big issue. We got a great nights sleep. Breakfast consisted of coffee, juice, milk, cereal, pastries, toast, biscuits and sausage gravy, waffles, oatmenal, grits, etc. Quite a selection. Check out was just as easy as check in. Returned the keys and was told to have a nice day. Again, no mention of priceline. I'm happy with my stay and the price.”

• Clean and convenient to airport
• Did not get a roll-a-way bed that we needed. Hotel staff said that they could get one for us.

“Overall experience was good, just difficult for a large family to travel economically. Extra bedding arrangements are important at times.”
