• The friendliness of the staff.
• The pool was filthy and the food.

“Over all my experience at the Hilton was above par, but on another note the food was not very good, nor within par to the local cuisine. The Gumbo tasted more southwestern in flavor than Creole, the shrimp poor boy, well, we'll leave that one alone. We were on the 5th floor and were looking over the pool. It was horrible to look at. It was very moldy, and dirty. Very poorly cared for.”

• It was a comfortable hotel and the guest services were very friendly.
• I kept getting interrupted by maintenance and housekeeping and I had to pay for internet.

“Overall, my stay was ok. I didn't expect to have to pay for wireless internet though. I also didn't expect that a leak in the lobby would be traced to my room. This leak caused maintenance to interrupt me while I was getting dressed, but he was very courteous. Although, I know that housekeeping had to do their job, I was walked in on while I was in the bed.”

• I loved their pillows (big, soft, and fluffy). Nice toiletries too. ;).

• Very nicely decorated and a wonderful courtyard.
• The front desk clerks did not know much about the area but not bad enough to complain. They were very sweet.

“The gentleman that helped us up to our room was solo sweet. We had been working 14 hr days for 2 weeks at a disaster relief center. He had asked what we had done and after explaining that to him he said "well you are here now, let us wait on you for your stay" I almost cried. It was such a loving caring comment that meant the entire world to us because we were dead tired but happy tired!”

• The bedding was fabulous.

“The hotel may be 25 minutes from downtown new Orleans but it is a fabulous hotel for its price. The bed was so comfortable that my boyfriend and I wanted to take it home with us. The staff is friendly and the hotel very clean.”

• The decor was excellent.

• Late check out free parking.
• Check in clerk did not offer me full breakfast buffet as a Hilton Honors Member. I had to repeatedly ask for it. She declined to offer me 4:00 p.m.

“This stay at Airport Hilton was more disappointing than previous stays. Check in clerk was big disappointment, not giving me free full Breakfast buffet as a Hilton Honors member until I forced the issue. Not agreeing to 4:00 p.m. checkout as Hilton Honors member. I had to ask that again the next day from another staff member and my request was honored. I paid more for this stay than previous stays but got less value and poorer service than previous stays, particularly from the check in clerk.”

• I was impressed that I couldn't hear the planes!
• The pool area was under construction.

“The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The loacation was a perfect fit for us; we were close to family and friends as well as well-rated restaurants. We hope to stay there again!”

• The best value for the price in the N.O. Airport Area.
• Parking is barely adequate.

“The staff is excellent and helps beyond the required functions. The room is spacious, though bathroom sink area is tight. The bedding is superb and the room accessories are nice.”

• The location was perfect for this trip.

“Since my husband was flying out of New Orleans going to Iraq, this hotel was the perfect place to stay. The hotel was kind enough to give us a late check out and the hotel airport shuttle brought the both of us to the airport and brought me back. I really could not ask for more. What great service!!!”

• No microwaves for customer use, very bad parking on weekend night

“A typical Hilton situated about 25 minutes from downtown NO. The proximity of the airport is a big plus without the typical noise penalty. Parking can be a problem on 'event' nights. No microwaves for guests use - so this is not the most family-friendly hotel should one need to warm some formula. Overall, good, out of the way position, clean and well appointed hotel.”

• Heated outdoor pool was not very warm, the rooms need ventilation and either an opening window or balcony.

“At the rate I got, I expected a hotel that was a bit threadbare. I could not have been more wrong. This hotel was everything that I would expect from a Hilton. Exceptional service all around, perfectly clean and a bed that I would have loved to find a way to take home with me. Excellent!”

“This hotel is not deserving of the "Hilton" name. The lobby is nice, but past that, the rooms are a shame. I had to request a new room when I noticed a blackish-brown substance coming out of the back of the toilet. The air vents in the room were all covered with dust, and the room did not have a clean smell. I was very unsatisfied with this stay, and as a Hilton Honors member, will let them know about my experience there.”

“The Hilton Hotel located in Kenner Louisiana was very clean from the outside grounds through lobby to the room. Very well maintained helpful friendly and well groomed staff. Very comfortable and excellent location in proximity to airport and interstates. The only negative is the hotel restaurant is to pricey and did not appear to have complimentary breakfast, The breakfast bar was extremely expensive.”
