• Gave you a choice of non-smoking verses smoking room.
• Nothing.

“If you believe in American capitalism, this is a place for you, they treat you like an adult, they give you a choice when checking in non-smoking or smoking, do not treat you like a kid when they say that this is a non smoking hotel, if you are a smoker you get treated like a 2/3 class citizen, not here at the Hilton!”

  not working properly; water too cold, asked front desk to have someone adjust it, no one ever did.

“Overall great hotel, but they need to provide free internet service to guests, even if only in the business office on the 1st floor. I can understand not offering free WiFi. Also, hotel was clean, room was spotless but hallways were a tad bit untidy. Lost of room service dishes stayed on floors through the day and hall way floors should be vacuumed daily.”

• The room was comfortable.

“The hotel itself was OK, but no fridge and no microwave. I like having those in a room. This is an expensive hotel. It was surprising not to find these amenities.”

• The front desk people were awesome, but everybody else was bad.
• Overpriced ice cream.

“This hotel was great. However, $28 bucks for a cab ride each way to the French Quarter, it was probably a better idea to just get a higher priced room in that area.”

• Very convenient to airport.
• Charge for 15 minutes of computer use in business center.

“This hotel was conveniently located across from the airport. It had a restaurant, coffee bar, and lounge and nice lobby and meeting facilities. The pool was small but nice. The room was clean and spacious but the bed was springy and not very comfortable. Surprised by the fee to use the computers in the business center.”

• Very clean and the staff was excellent.
• Far from downtown New Orleans & The Quarter.

“Excellent choice for people flying in to NO Int. The staff was very eager to accommodate. The breakfast buffet was high, so we passed on it. Not in the heart of the action, but very safe compared to most of the downtown hotels. It's well worth the 15 minute drive to downtown to get a clean, safe hotel with free parking.”

• The staff made us feels welcome. The room had no detectable heavy fragrances to which I am highly sensitive.
• It was a bit far from the freeway I was traveling on.

• Near airport - clean - 24 hour airport shuttle.
• Dining room staff was poor.

“We stayed here for its location near the airport and 24 hour shuttle as we had to leave very early. Room was clean and quiet, though we had to settle for a king bed instead of two beds. Dinner in the dining room was interesting, a potato as an appetizer, the food good, but the wait staff didn't know what they were doing or care. Good hotel for our very short stay.”

• My room was to far from lobby. Had an astray.

“The overall stay was great. I saw an astray when we walked in, I thought I smelled smoke but no one else did. I had called the hotel before hand and told them of my preference and that my child had asthma. But he did not comment.”

“Hotel is a typical airport hotel. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Definitely not a 3-star, though. Internet access is $11.95 per day. Breakfast buffet is 16.95. The buffet is small and not worth nearly that much. The staff was nice, especially in the restaurant.”

• The pool was filthy and the food.

“Over all my experience at the Hilton was above par, but on another note the food was not very good, nor within par to the local cuisine. The Gumbo tasted more southwestern in flavor than Creole, the shrimp poor boy, well, we'll leave that one alone. We were on the 5th floor and were looking over the pool. It was horrible to look at. It was very moldy, and dirty. Very poorly cared for.”

• It was a comfortable hotel and the guest services were very friendly.
• I kept getting interrupted by maintenance and housekeeping and I had to pay for internet.

“Overall, my stay was ok. I didn't expect to have to pay for wireless internet though. I also didn't expect that a leak in the lobby would be traced to my room. This leak caused maintenance to interrupt me while I was getting dressed, but he was very courteous. Although, I know that housekeeping had to do their job, I was walked in on while I was in the bed.”

• Very nicely decorated and a wonderful courtyard.
• The front desk clerks did not know much about the area but not bad enough to complain. They were very sweet.

“The gentleman that helped us up to our room was solo sweet. We had been working 14 hr days for 2 weeks at a disaster relief center. He had asked what we had done and after explaining that to him he said "well you are here now, let us wait on you for your stay" I almost cried. It was such a loving caring comment that meant the entire world to us because we were dead tired but happy tired!”

“The hotel may be 25 minutes from downtown new Orleans but it is a fabulous hotel for its price. The bed was so comfortable that my boyfriend and I wanted to take it home with us. The staff is friendly and the hotel very clean.”

• Check in clerk did not offer me full breakfast buffet as a Hilton Honors Member. I had to repeatedly ask for it. She declined to offer me 4:00 p.m.

“This stay at Airport Hilton was more disappointing than previous stays. Check in clerk was big disappointment, not giving me free full Breakfast buffet as a Hilton Honors member until I forced the issue. Not agreeing to 4:00 p.m. checkout as Hilton Honors member. I had to ask that again the next day from another staff member and my request was honored. I paid more for this stay than previous stays but got less value and poorer service than previous stays, particularly from the check in clerk.”

• I was impressed that I couldn't hear the planes!
• The pool area was under construction.

“The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The loacation was a perfect fit for us; we were close to family and friends as well as well-rated restaurants. We hope to stay there again!”
