• The staff was friendly and helpful.
• The bath tub was not clean, we had to pay for breakfast.

“When turned on heat it smelled, in the shower the conditioner bottle was left from previous person in that room, the microwave was sparking like metal was in it, they sent someone to fix but it didn't spark when they tested it but did for the next two days.”

• Location off of the interstate.
• The key for the first assigned room did not work X 2 sets; the second room had a slow draining bathtub.

• House keepingwaited out side my door to clean my room.

“My husband & I left the hotel separately. As he opened the door to leave, house keeping was just about to knock. We had a do not disturb sign on the door but they offered to make up our room anyway. I said that once I get dressed & left, they may come in to clean. I spent about 45 minutes to an hour getting dressed. I could hear housekeeping”

• It was a nice hotel in a good location. We had a sleep number bed.

“The staff was very friendly. We came to Nola because our grandson was having open heart surgery at Ochsners. In spite of this we slept well the night before and was even given good directions to the Hospital by the staff because there was road construction going on.”

• The food, the service and the friendliness of the staff.
• I really don't like the adjustable beds . I can never find a comfortable position on them. The 1.00 dollar charge for calls is to high.

“This hotel is very good. This made the second time I have stayed there through Priceline. The first time I stayed there the front desk people were not as friendly. This time everyone was very very nice. And tried to make my stay great. And I thank them. I wish I could have stayed there longer. But my money ran out. But I would stay there again.”

• Choice of non smoking or smoking.
• Left a pair of shoes upon checkout, when I called back they were nowhere to be found.

“Older hotel, worn furniture in room, clean, I was glad that I had a Priceline deal otherwise I would have been very upset. The plus is they still give you a choice of non-smoking or smoking room.”

• the bar and fitness were awesome
• The swimming pool was so dirty and had lots of bugs, i quickly got out !! then the towels they have for the pool when the cheapest. need new ones

“Light bulbs were missing, lamp on desk did not work. Coffee in pot for guests was cold. Rooms were clean. But hotel was not what I would like if I paid full price, would not stay at this hotel if I had to pay much more than the bid price.”

• AC in room difficult to operate. Local controls were bypassed to wall control that was not obvious.

• Rooms were nice and person on the desk was friendly.
• Shuttle service stops prior to late flight arrivals and cabs were expensive for distance traveled.

“Overall the hotel is very nice with spacious rooms that contain all of the amenities that you are looking for. The staff is helpful. If taking a late flight, I would be hesitant to use in the future due to the shuttle service closing prior to scheduled late night flights and if not renting a car, cab was very expensive based on mileage from airport.”

• Check in and the rudeness from the front desk staff.

“I was some what disappointed with my check in. The toilet in the room back up 3 times throughout my stay. I was not offered another room. One day I made a call to the front desk that morning to inform them of the situation and no one did not come up to the room until I returned late that evening.”

• I liked the fact after finally getting in the room, it meet all my needs.
• I didn't like, after arriving to check in at about 3:30pm the room was not ready.

• Roaches in our bathroom.

“I would not recommend this hotel. The Radisson name used to stand for something. When the manager came up to our room and saw the roaches, she did offer to relocate us to another room. Roaches are in walls.”

• There was nothing that I liked!
• Filthy and cockroaches in the room!

“Upon check in there was uncovered food in front of several rooms from room service. I had to go two floors up just to get ice. I found 2 roaches in my room and when I told the front desk person about this I was told ‘oh, those are New Orleans natives, they come out at night’. There was no offer of providing me a different room. I had to request it. This hotel was disgusting!”

• The best aspects about this hotel was location, friendly staff and size of the room.
• There was a dead bug by the window, live roach in the information guide and spot on carpet.

“The hotel was in a nice location, staff was friendly and room size was decent. However, pest control is definitely needed. The quality of towels is also poor.”

• Beds and linens were nice and comfy.
• Sleep number beds were nice jus takes time to adjust.

“Had to wait about ten minutes to check in with no one avail at the counter. When someone did arrive check in was quick. Staff was courteous and arranged a ride to the mall to see movie. Back gate to the pool was open. Not too secure. Large family with coolers was at the pool appearing to have a party. I wondered if they were even guests at the hotel.”

• Sleep number bed deflated in the middle of the night. Lamps did not work.

“Like many Radisson properties, this one was dark and not particularly inviting. It is difficult in a damp climate like New Orleans to have everything smell good, but this hotel smelled musty and there was mildew in the bathroom.”

• The elevators was a torture. They were being worked on; I guess.

“Overall, good experience but would have been somewhat upset by property deficiencies had, we not gotten such a good rate. Room service meals were good on previous business trip. A late breakfast at the restaurant, this time, was dried out, staff was attentive though and did there best to make us comfortable. Significant pooling of water in potholes of rear parking lot - bad if you have low profile tires.”

• My room was a disappointment, I was stuck because the hotel was sold out.

“I stay at this hotel often; I've had better experiences in the past. This visit I actually had to extend my trip due to family emergencies. (July 4- July 9)I was in a room I did not like, the bathroom door would get jammed, the bathroom sink had a crack in it, there was a musty odor in the air, and the Sleep Number bed only went up. I reported this to the front desk but the hotel was sold out so I was stuck in that miserable room. Initially I tried to overlook it because I barely was there but when I reported it & the front desk clerk just dismissed me as if my complaint wasn't important I became even more upset.”

• One day housekeeping didn't clean up our room when told the manager said, too bad.

“The hotel is not expensive, it has it pluses. Location, near the airport, the interstate and New Orleans. The restaurant staff is very friendly, prompt and eager to serve. Their restaurant food is up New Orleans standards.”

• The lady at the front desk was rude.

“I think the hotel was great. The lady would not let me get the key because I thought the check in time was at 2 and she said it was at 4. I went back in the hotel to ask a question and the guy at the desk was very nice to me. She went ahead and let me check in early.”

• One elevator was not working, had to wait for long.

“Overall the hotel was fine. I stay there last month and one of the elevator was broken. This time I was surprise to see the elevator broken. The waiting time for the elevator was a bit long.”

• I liked the room. It felt very cozy and I liked having a microwave and minifridge.
• Although the pool area is very nice and kind of romantic, a little more lighting would be helpful.

“I liked the set up the room. It gave off a very home away from home feeling - cozy and comfortable. I also liked having a microwave and minifridge, esp helps to cut down on eating out every night if you plan to stay more than 2 days. They did forget to clean my room one day- but no big deal. They brought me extra clean towels.”
