“Location was great, but the hotel has a rundown feel to it. the rooms smell of smoke, not sure if its through vents from other smoking rooms or through the air conditioner or where, but when we left everything stank like smoke. parts of the wall had wallpaper rips, and some of the power sockets didn't work. free internet was a plus though.” Sep 7, 2009 by

“The room was on a smoking floor and smelled bad. The lights in our room were broken. The hotel food was mediocre quality. I was quite disappointed in what is supposed to have been at least a 3.5 star hotel. It is an older property that needs some TLC. There was no refrigerator or ice bin. “The hotel was in a great location for us. We were on our way home from Iowa. The front desk person was VERY nice. The room was big and clean. Our only problem was the bathroom had hair in the tub, the tub drained very slow and there was mold on the bathroom ceiling. It was not too big of a problem since we were there for only 1 night. If we were there for more than 1 night we would have asked to change rooms. We checked in at 10:45 pm and checked out at 7:30 am.” Jun 26, 2009 by

“Had an Ipod Nano that disappeared from room at hotel. Guy at front desk said I could file an incident report when I checked out, but it was evident when doing it that no follow up would be made. Saved a few bucks on hotel room, lots a lot more because of hotel.” May 18, 2009 by

“The hotel was clean, located with limited accesses which controlled car noise, and the staff was friendly. The heated indoor pool was a plus for traveling with a child. “The hotel overall was great. I have stayed here many times. There were many guests who decided to have a party in the hallway from midnight to well past three in the morning. The hotel security told them to quiet down three times; which the guests failed to do. Unfortunately the guests were not asked to leave the hotel, and we were not able to sleep.” Mar 5, 2008 by

“The overall hotel and staff where nice, but you would like to think at a nice hotel you would not have to worry about your vehicles outside. I park right in front of the video cameras every night for weeks and one night my window was busted and the police wanted to look at the video and they informed that the outside cameras did not record. I talked to the front desk Manager about it and they where like it was nothing they could do and where not that concerned. I took this 1000 dollar mistake went some where else so that put a big sour taste in my mouth. I would not recommend staying here unless you have a taxi drop you off.” Mar 4, 2008 by

“We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff person who checked us in was very friendly and courteous. Once she knew we were traveling with a baby, she gave us a great non smoking room that was in a somewhat private location on the second floor. The pool and whirlpool were both wonderful. “When we arrived at the hotel and we made it up to our room, The bathroom sink had standing water in it. The water was draining out slowly. when the water was drained, there was a sink with a mud like substance in it. we called the front desk and they sent a very nice lady to our room. She looked at the mess and said it would be taken care of. I then found the survey paper on the table that was completed two days prior and had not been picked up. I then as the same lady if the room had been cleaned at all. She said that it had been cleaned. I said that I wanted the whole room cleaned because I wasn't certain that it was cleaned. She said she would do her best to do that. The employee's that worked there super nice but the hotel as a whole needs a good cleaning. I will probably not stay there again. “I have always been a fan of Holiday Inn. They are always nice, friendly and clean with great beds pillows and bathroom facilities normally the restaurant is this way as well, however this time it was not the food was awful, the service was awful and we ate at 3.00 in the afternoon no reason for the food or service to be bad. I will probably not stay at this Holiday Inn anymore but will continue to use the chain in other locations.”
