• Good location near airport. Didn't hear planes at all. No-smoking hotel.
• $12.95 per day to use internet connection.

“Nice hotel in a good location. Got a good price on Priceline but they charge you for parking, internet, etc. Also about 20% taxes. The place could use more elevators.”

• It was very convenient to the airport and to Interstate 70.
• The heat did not work on the first night!

“This would have been a nice stay, but the first night I was there the heat was not working and my room was uncomfortably cold. I ended up going to bed with layers on but I was still cold. 2 calls to the front desk did not resolve it. Finally I asked them to bring me more blankets and they brought me two more comforters. I was finally then able to sleep. But in the morning I had a sore throat from breathing cold air all night. On the 2nd night, the heat was operating properly. Thankfully.”

• Staff friendly and very responsive.
• Being charged for parking, pricing for breakfast menu.

“Hotel was nice. Staff was friendly and responsive. Pretty clean, except bathroom could have been cleaner, and comforter on the bed was dingy. I also think they do not have enough elevators. There was some sort of conference going on for older people. A lot of them had disabilities and tons of older people had to wait a while. Also, there was a concierge desk but I never saw anyone at the desk. And if they had someone who was working two jobs, they should have explained in check in how to access services. Also, did not like that they charged for Wi-Fi internet services.”

• Accomodating to what we needed
• rooms and bathrooms need updating, Girl working at the coffee shop unfriendly and bordering rude.

“Lobby was nice but does not reflect the room we stayed in. Room could've been nicer if furniture or bathroom fixtures are updated. Bed linens were very comfortable. The hotel needs to buy new towels”

• The beds were great!
• Parking fees were a bit steep. Room had trash left it it from previous attendant, but remedied quickly. thank you.

• Convenient and had all the amenities that we needed.

“The hotel all in all was great. Other than the pool seeming a little dirty, the restaurant was great, easy access to the facility and so much surrounding the area regarding food and stores. Short ride into St. Louis. Very clean and if needed, would visit again.”

• There was an uncaring attitude by some staff.

“I wasn't sure of whether I wanted a hotel by the airport due to potential noise, but that was no problem at all in the room we were in. The bedding was fabulous and the front desk and bell staff were friendly. However, we requested a roll away bed upon check in and had to wait quite a while, even though our son was very tired and it was late (after 10pm). We called for it a second time, then a lady staff person showed up a little while later, shoved the huge rollaway into the room, mumbled quickly something about how busy they were with arrivals downstairs, then left before we could ask her to help put the bed in position and down on the floor. Doing that was something that could have injured a guest, and she didn't even offer to help. Needless to say, the tip I had prepared for her was not wasted on her.”

• Fast check in service,very attractive room, love the beds.
• Food prices were way way too high, no complimentary breakfast.

“Hotel was very nice, clean & comfortable. Biggest down fall - which may keep my from staying there again - is there is no reasonable food service available. We checked in straight off the plane
at 11pm and my child was hungry - no vending machine with food could be found and we couldn't afford the room service food. Even if a light breakfast (ie.rolls, muffins, coffee & juice) would have been nice and highly expected. My son is the one who went looking for the vending machine on our floor (7th floor) and could not find one w/food. But other then the "food" issue, it really was an extremely nice hotel. My son and I both got a wonderful- much needed - nights sleep. Thank You Sincerely Cynthia.”

• Easy to find and close to airport.
• Too many fees! parking, computer, breakfast, newspaper.

“Overall, we were comfortable. However, for the price, more should of been included. A local newspaper, free parking, complementary breakfast or welcome cookie, and complementary computer use would of been nice. The hotel did look a bit dated as well. We had trouble using the key to get out of the parking lot and also to get into the hallway from outside. There was only on towel rack in bathroom, it was in the shower. It would of been nice to at least have a refrigerator in the room.”

“I had to pay $9 for parking in the hotel lot. They also add things to your room, such as a fee for the newspaper on weekdays and do not tell you. Other than that, it was great.”

• Location, and clean.
• Internet availability.

“I was only in the hotel overnight (9 hours). The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was small but very nice. I think the size was due to it being an older hotel. The plumbing was noisy at times. Hotel wanted $12.95 for a 24 hour of internet time. Just being there for 9 hours, I decided it wasn't worth it. I would have only used it for an hour or two. The hotel is very nice overall and I would stay there again.”

• They didn't have an in-house laundry room to do dirty laundry.

“This is a nice hotel on the inside, clean rooms and friendly staff. Didn't like the fact that they didn't have a laundry room as many of the nicer hotels do nowadays and having to pay $14.00 a day to park is ridiculous when you stay there.”

• Friendly staff and fantastic room service.
• Doorways to the rooms are so narrow!

“It was gorgeous. It was loud when I went because there was some sort of party being held there, but to the credit of the staff they were informing each guest of that upon check in. I made notations on my breakfast order form and was pleasantly surprised by how much they accommodated me. Lovely hotel would gladly stay there again. You can't get much more convenient than the location, either.”

“I drove in, checked in, parked car, went to bed.Woke up, checked out, grabbed shuttle to airport, away 4 days, flew in, grabbed shuttle, paid for parking, got in car and left. Since parking was scary, Valet parking would have been nice.”

• The staff at the rock grill restaurant.
• Pay for parking.

“Cards to get into the hotel and room wouldn't work, just to get into the parking lot. The towels in the rooms were old and ragged. The bathroom had no ventilation, the room felt moldy and wet. The walls were paper then and could hear everything from the next room. The internet cost money. Would never stay at this hotel again or any other Marriott.”

“I was very pleased overall. The kids had a great time in the pool and hot tub. The room was fantastic. My son said the chicken fingers were the best he ever ate, but the burgers, sandwiches and ribs were an expensive disappointment.”

• The hotel staff was very helpful. I was traveling with a handicapped person.
• The car service was bad. Driver did not speak English?

“Overall this is a very nice place to stay. Both pools were very clean, towels were provided, hot tub was clean as well. I was traveling with my handicapped mother, the staff was helpful with her special needs. I had a very nice time here and so did my mother.”

• Staff was friendly and outside pool area was nice.
• Beds were not comfortable, few elevators, poor parking availability.

“Our first night we had two double beds which were slightly smaller than a full size bed. The beds themselves were not comfortable, and neither were the pillows. The front desk was kind enough to move us the next day to a king size room, which was better. The king size room had only 2 bath towels in it though, versus the double room's 4. We had to call for extras. There was only 1 elevator on our floor, so it was a trek to our room. The 2nd night the hotel parking lot was completely full and we were directed to park in a pay lot behind the hotel, though parking was validated. The only free internet was a computer in the coffee shop, and the employee in the shop was not polite. Overall, our stay was ok, we wouldn't want to stay here again. Our last trip we stayed at a hotel just down the street and it was much nicer.”
