- Stopped up bathtub, busy switchboard, clocks not on daylight savings.
“I was not pleased with the fact that the clock in the room was not set to the new time. Daylight savings was on Sunday and on Wednesday night they still had not been changed and only maintenance could do it. It did not seem to matter to the staff that this was not done. In addition, I had standing water when I took a shower and again the staff was not concerned.”

- Various equipment in this hotel needed repair.
“The room and hotel wasn't too bad, but several items should be replaced or repaired. It's nice that it had a fitness room with free weights, but one of the treadmills was broken. I stayed on the 5th floor and the ice machine did not work, so I had to go down to the 4th floor for ice. The elevator is at the front of the building by the check in desk, but the parking lot is at the back. This is a hassle if you have a lot of luggage. The desk chair in my room was wobbly because it had a bolt missing and the other 3 were very loose. The other 3 bolts did not look like they were original parts to the chair base. The light fixture at the entry did not have a shade and I could see pieces of broken glass from where the original shade was attached. The light over the sink was not working, but after contacting the desk, it was fixed that day.”

- It is convenient to the airport.
- The high speed internet did not work.
“Poor service and treatment by staff. The internet connection in my room was intermittent at best and extremely slow during the short periods that it was working. I was unable to connect to company server, or even send emails, as the connection would be disrupted every minute or so. Tech support suggested a replacement cable that the front desk would send up. Front desk said they would send someone to fix it, but nobody came. Next morning the manager had no sympathy whatsoever.”

- I was disappointed that my room was not cleaned when I returned. I had to move to another room. I think the room could have been cleaner.

- Arguing people twice in the lobby.
“Some seriously disgruntled people (4 of them) were yelling at the front desk help about closing the pool while they were swimming at 6pm at night. Police showed up to address the problem within 15 minutes. Next morning - 5:30 am came up to the lobby and could hear one man literally screaming at another man about mowing grass. Turns out it were two maintenance men fighting over who had to mow the grass? Good price slightly disconcerting place.”

- Dirty, couch torn/broken, hotel run-down, poor security for the area, terrible airplane noise.
“I used to stay in the earth city area, instead you booked me in a run-down hotel east of the airport that was definitely not a 2 1/2 star rating. I could have booked 3 more families at this hotel but I moved them to a courtyard by Marriott at earth city without going thru and only played $15 more per night. I won't use for this area again! terrible experience!”

- So many kids staying there, surprisingly quiet.
- Messy breakfast buffet, mold smell from tap water.
“After carefully read all of your review for the St. Louis, I chosen this hotel. I work for the airline and but it is not possible to use employee travel benefit - so full, this summer I drove. I have stayed more than 20 airport hotels in and out the country. This property was worth spending extra $30 for the stay after long hours of drive though it was hard to find while located next to the airport. This property is also crew hotel for the commuter air carriers, that tell you something. I can see the effort of the franchisee to keep this place clean and comfortable.”

- The hotel was clean but the power was out.
- The response to the power is out was bad. Their aren't any other rooms in the area.

- Was pulling a trailer, hardly room for guest cars to park. Lot was full to overflowing.
“The Hotel was clean and neat. The Staff was openly friendly and helpful. The Room was clean and actually was quite nice. We very much liked the extra pillows on the beds and towels in the bathroom. I appreciated the double shower curtain as it kept the inner curtain from billowing while taking a shower. There were no provisions for audio/video on the TV to review Digital Camera Pictures or to be able to attach our portable DVD Player. The Staff informed us that New TVs with that capability were on order. There were some scuffs on the doors and walls in the halls, but overall not really that bad. The Hallway carpeting was a little worn. My biggest complaint was the minimal amount of parking available. I was pulling a trailer and there was no place on the property to park. I Had to park in a neighboring Church's lot. In fact there was not enough parking for regular vehicles, it overflowed into the Church parking lot every night we were there (Tue, Wed & Thur). Other than the parking situation, the Hotel was worth the money spent to stay there. Easy access to and from I-70, the Airport is reasonably close and the Hotel is pretty well centrally located to area attractions.”

- Extremely convenient to Lambert Airport. VERY comfortable beds with down duvets and big fluffy pillows. Clean rooms.
- Poor parking, narrow entry to rooms making it difficult to get bags through the door.
“Followed up with a call to the hotel to see if I could have a roll away bed in my double room (there would be five of us). Was told yes, no problem at all, the room would be pre-blocked and the bed set up and ready upon my arrival at approximately midnight to 1:00am. When I arrived, was told that it violated fire code to have the roll away and that there was nothing that they could do about it. It's a good thing that two of our party stayed home or we'd have had a mess. Was told to park in the fire lane because there was not enough parking around the building. Then the next morning before taking the shuttle to the airport, told that I'd better move my car before I got a ticket for parking in the fire lane. The room was comfortable for the few hours that we where there, though I did find a dirty towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. I would probably go back because of the proximity to the airport and the convenience of their shuttle, but only if I can get a good deal on the room rate.”

- The person we checked in with was terrible, this was really the only interaction with the employees.

- It was one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in quite a long time.
- The soda machine across from our room did not work and we had to go quite a ways to get a soda.

- The bed was very comfortable, the pillow toppers on the mattresses a definite plus.
- There wasn't anything I didn't like.
“The rooms were immaculate. The receptionist was very friendly in a genuine way at no time did she seem like she was just doing her job. Our stay was great and the price was awesome.”

- It had a park and fly, which I was really after, and real glasses and coffee mugs.
- Nothing, I had a real enjoyable stay.
