- It wasn't anything special. I can't think of anything that I liked.
- The maids don't do a very good job of cleaning.
“Overall the hotel served its purpose, but our stay could have been better. When we checked in they were having trouble with some locks on the doors not working. Our room wasn't the cleanest. There was some trash in a corner that was in plain site that hadn't been picked up. We wanted to use the pool our second night there and the pool was so cloudy I couldn't see the steps into the pool. Then we didn't have any wash clothes our second night. I asked twice for wash clothes and never got any. I think they were having other problems that night as well. Also I think I overheard one employee say that there were students living in the hotel. So that seems kind of weird. ”

“This was the absolute WORST hotel experience I have EVER had! From the temporary banner that was the sign for the hotel, to the first experience with totally unfriendly staff, to the horrible trash that had a horrible smell when you entered the outside door that lead to our room, to the absolutely FILTHY room and even FILTHIER bathroom. ”

- It was convenient to the airport.

- Location was the only thing I was happy with. This place is a PIT.
“The carpets in the halls and on the steps are filthy (surely I'm not the only one who saw that vomit). The carpet in our room had not been vacuumed for a long time. There was peanut skins, paper, a pill and God only knows what else on the floor at the edge of the bed frame. I asked for the carpet to be cleaned on Sat. as my 2 year old Grandchild was going to be visiting. The bathroom tile was broken and the tub leaked, lots of soap scum. While in the bathroom I had an uninvited guest drop in, a bug. ”

- There was nothing good about this hotel to tell!
- It was dirty, hot, smelled, and we ended up going through Travelocity to book a much better hotel for the same price.
“The hotel was out of the way and not close to anything. It was damp and hot, and there were cracks in the walls. There were crickets in the walls all around us and our room was in the very back, so it was noisy. The bathroom was dirty and the beds were awful. Don't stay here! ”

- It was Dirty and very poorly kept.
“Though room smelled dirty and of smoke even though it was a smoke free room. The front desk people were very unfriendly and didn't seem all there! the bathtub had been painted so when you took a bath the paint chips got into the water. the coffee pot did not work, the air conditioner made a lot of noise in the middle of the night! We had booked 2 nights and felt we had to stay there but we stayed our 3rd night in a different hotel!”

- The staff, free parking, computer for use.
- Room service comes a bit early.
“I was moving to the area and my apartment didn't work out (it was in a bad part of downtown). I drove eight hours to get here and needed a place to stay until I could find an apartment. The staff was so understanding and wonderful! They let me park my U-Haul in their lot and gave me tips on where to look for an apartment. The hotel was clean and they had computers with high speed internet, which helped a lot in my apartment search. They even gave me a discount on my room since I was considered "in distress." I've never been treated so well by a hotel in my life. My only gripe was that room service came a bit too early for my taste. However, I told the front desk and they changed our room cleaning time, which was great.”

- I had the check-out time incorrect and wasn't charged for my mistake.
- The website said there were refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms and that was not true for my room.
“The Airport hotel has a friendly staff and it was pretty clean. I did find a dirty flip-flop in my room which told me that they probably didn't do that great of a cleaning job. The pool was pretty clean (except for a nice amount of bugs) though. I did ask the attendant about the fridge/microwave and was told there weren't any in the rooms. I saw a microwave in someone else's room the next day.”

- Front desk staff was courteous and honest from the beginning.
- There is no sign for the hotel from the highway.
“I called the night before our stay to confirm our reservation and was assured a non-smoking room. When we arrived we were informed that "due to extenuating circumstances" there was no room at the hotel and we were moved to a Best Western 10 minutes away. One reason we chose this hotel was because of its proximity to the St. Louis airport, free parking and airport shuttle - none of which we were able to take advantage of by being moved. The lady at the front desk was, to her credit, very courteous and helpful.”

- I didn't stay because their were roaches in adjoining room and the room was not clean.
- Girl behind counter was not friend, when told their was roaches in room, she said there were no more rooms available and didn't offer anything else.
“I would never stay in this hotel again. Cleanliness and friendliness of staff was bad. My money was just thrown away. We went to another hotel up the street. For a few dollars more, it was worth it”

- Hotel was close to family & friends, nice location.
- Dirty and hot in stars way, in the room a/c was not working to good, peeling paint in the bottom if tub.
“This hotel was a bad stay for my wife and I. We have heard bad things about this hotel and we found out that the thing that was being said is true. The tub was very bad in over all there was hole in the walls from picture being removed. For the price we paid we could have gotten a better hotel. We didn't even get the continental breakfast. I will not recommend this hotel to no one!”

- It was close to the airport. Good cookies.
- Poor condition, horrible staff, room was dirty. Thankfully I had a beach towel which I was able to lay out and sleep on.
“This hotel is located very close to STL airport, this is the only positive thing I can say. There were no glasses or cups in the room, however there was a coffee maker. The staff was useless. The rooms was nasty, the parking was a joke, no elevators, it smelled like mildew. Basically a joke. We stayed her on our outbound travels for approx $42 a night. On our return flight home, I used Hotwire to reserve our room. We paid $52/night and stayed at a 4* Hilton downtown STL. Valet parking, room service, wonderful beds For $10 more, more that worth the 15 minute drive downtown!”

“All the pictures on our walls were removed, screws on the bed. To tired to complain. The bathroom tub was worn out. It was as clean as they could get it I suppose. Mold on curtain and tub walls. The outside area seemed unsafe, had to park way away from front.”

- There was no signage, so it was a little difficult to find.
“The St. Louis Airport Hotel was very functional. It is an older hotel, so the facilities are not grand, but it was clean and everything was in working order. I liked the location, especially if I was planning on flying out or in to St. Louis. I liked the fact that it did not charge a parking fee as most hotels in this area do. The staff was very friendly.”

“Staff friendly. Bathroom not clean (floor behind door very dirty--hair, etc.). Even though it was close to the airport, it was difficult to locate (we did not do a web map search, which I suggest). We were only in the room for less than 7 hours, so for that amount of time, it was worth the price.”

- Bathtub had peeling paint, it was dirty, no sign outside, appeared run down, not well kept, no elevators, only stairs to 2nd floor.
“The St. Louis Airport Hotel was of poor quality. The sign in front was blown out, there was no "identifying" name. The staff was ok, not overly helpful/friendly by no means. There were no elevators, just a flight of stairs to 2nd floor. The room was ok, beds were clean, the bathroom was dirty, floor needed cleaned, the bathtub was just GROSS, grimy without peeling paint, not well taken care of at all! I am not one to complain.”

- Clean.
- I paid too much for a 2 star--I've stayed in 4 star hotels for five dollars more.
“No sign on the building nor in the front parking lot. Tacky! It caused us to bypass the hotel. It made you think that you were in for a cheap/bad experience before you entered the front door, but the stay turned out to be ok and the room was cleaner than any three star hotel that I've ever stayed in.”

- The convince to the airport, car rental comp's and restaurants.
- The toilet had short length hair in it.
“Some of the room furniture has been abused by others who don't care about property. The beds were comfortable and the bedspreads clean. The staff was helpful. The housekeeping staff were very kind and friendly, they were considerate and didn't talk loud nor make a lot of noise. We stayed at other places where it was so noisy We were able to rest after traveling for 18hrs from overseas. We were exhausted and needed some peace and quiet which we were able to get. To the housekeeping staff I say thank you.”

- Free shuttle service to Lambert airport and Metro Link.
- No elevators. No continental breakfast.
“The hotel was conveniently located to the airport and the hotel offered free shuttle service to the airport. Hertz car rental was next door. There were no elevators in the hotel which makes it difficult for people who have to climb stairs. Relatively clean rooms, however, our bathtub did not drain well and you were up to your ankles in water before your shower was finished. Will try another hotel before going back to this one, one with a continental breakfast.”

- Convenient to airport and rent a car. Very friendly, good shuttle.
- None.

- The room was very clean and quite.
- Out door pool, only open in summer.
“The outside of the hotel wasn't much to look at, but the room was very quiet and comfortable, it was surprising how close to the airport we were and how quiet the room was.”
