• Luxury all the way, staff very friendly and helpful.
• Poor room service took more than 45 minutes got it free though.

“Would recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates the finer things in life like the extra soft and multiple pillows. Upscale room decor. Very relaxing and didn't need to leave property for meals and located next to plaza with many boutiques, upscale restaurants and nightlife. Will defiantly be returning for more romantic getaways. Took a little too long for room service but they have a policy if it takes more than 30 minutes, it will be complimentary. Indoor pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and state of the art fitness center. Business center with Wi-Fi.”

• No refrigerator in room could hear everything through walls.

• Starbucks coffee in the rooms was a nice touch.
• Pool was cloudy; hot tub chemicals were too strong.

“This hotel is dated. In renovating the facility, they took the time to install marble, but overlooked cracked elevator number/lights (they were covered in tape and written on with marker). The staff was slow. We waited in line for 20 minutes behind two other parties to check-in. The bathrooms looked a little grungy, with old fixtures and wallpaper. The in-room coffee service did not include cups, creamer or sugar.”

• We thought for a 4 star we would have a fridge.

“Overall, it was nice. Our only complaint was that it did not have a fridge. The room was clean and we had a paper waiting outside our door in the morning. Yes, we would stay there again.”

• I didn't like it.
• They weren't friendly.

“They demanded a credit card to put a deposit for incidentals, hair in the bathtub, mold in the bathtub, window had towels taped to it because it was leaking, showerhead was loose and coming out of the wall, and they put us on the back side of the hotel near the service entrance, the delivery of the trash dumpsters started about 5:30 am and ended around 8 am the back-up beepers were constant, so sleep was non-existent after 5:30am. On check-out the desk clerk was not interested in why our stay was not great. So we were unable to talk with a manager.”

• The fitness center was very nice.

“This hotel is located right in Westport Plaza Mall, so it was very convenient that we never had to go outside in the cold. The hotel let us check in early, which was a nice gesture. The fitness center was very nice and the room was roomy and comfortable.”

“We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back and recommend it. It was clean and friendly. We had a tough time finding the hotel off I-270, even with our Garmin locator. Once you find it, great stay with Starbucks and McDonald's in walking distance.”

• "Heated pool" was ice cold. Dirty entry way. Old feeling to the entire place.

“We were extremely disappointed in this hotel. Perhaps a $40 price tag would be appropriate, however not a penny more. Loud party on the same hallway as us. I would discourage anyone from using this property of Sheraton- definitely not similar to any other Sheraton experience that we have had in the past.”

• Great location adjoining Westport shops and restaurants.
• Walls were paper thin, very noisy, and elevators were almost unsafe.

“I would recommend this hotel only to groups of college kids in town to party. It is no more than a 2-star hotel at best. The walls of room were very thin - you could hear conversations happening, running showers, and everything else very clearly from the rooms next door. Elevators were slow and dirty, and one of the 3 did not work. Decor in hotel lobby is a little shabby and needs to be redone. The only good thing is its location. Hotel is connected to Westport pavilion shops and restaurants. I would not stay at this hotel again for leisure and definitely not for business.”

“This hotel was fine for a one night stay, but staff seemed a bit on the stuck up side. Fine for business travelers, not families. Also, only hotel I've seen in 3 years to charge for internet access! I've stayed at the Ritz-Carlton several times and they offer free internet access. On the plus side, room service breakfast was the best I've ever had! Quick service too, they had it to my room in 25 minutes!”

• Great location from all the Saint Louis attractions.
• Nothing comes to mind.

“What a great hotel! It is conveniently located on the West Central side of the Saint Louis Metropolitan area and is within a short driving distance of all major Saint Louis attractions. If you're looking for a quick getaway the Sheraton Westport Plaza is an ideal place. It is situated adjacent to the Westport Plaza which offers both casual and fine dining.”

• The room decor was not exciting. Too plain.

• The walls are thin.

“The tower location of this hotel is much nicer than the chalet location. It was also quieter, although there was evidence that they have problems with large groups of kids. Signs up prohibiting elevator stuffing and elevator racing, etc. Fortunately my room was not near a large group of kids this time.”

• Was not right off the exit, which would be more convenient?

“Excellent hotel with restaurants attached. Was very nice as it was raining that day and I didn't need to go outside. They also have an attached parking garage which was very convenient.”

• There was no fitness center, but I believe guests have access to the fitness center at the Sheraton chalet a block away.

“Sheraton Westport plaza was a great place for us to stay. Location was excellent for our needs. They did not have a nonsmoking room with two double beds, but we took a king and the room had a pullout couch and I slept on it. There were several reviews on trip advisor that the hotel was loud and lacked parking, but we never had problems with either. We really enjoyed the star bucks that were only a 2 minute walk away!”

“This property does not deserve a 3* rating in any way. The carpets in the rooms and hallways were stained and dirty. The bathroom floor was dirty with the wax wore off by years of neglect. Windows did not fit together causing wind and road noise to flood into room. TV had horrible reception. Furniture was old, scuffed and dirty. Employees did not care about the cleanliness or noise issues. Climate control was very loud and had to be turned off to be able to sleep. Housekeeping started banging doors very early and yelling at each other up and down the halls. Overall a very unhappy experience with Sheraton plaza.”

• The location and large room size was excellent. Free parking.
• The carpet had stains.

“Excellent location for individuals who like variety and entertainment. The restaurants had great diversity and selections. The hotel has a wonderful breakfast buffet and the staff was friendly to solo travelers. I enjoyed the pool area and its nearby attractions. A great place to stay for a long weekend.”

• I liked the convenience that this hotel offered as it is convenient to several restaurants and hot spots.
• I didn't like the pet policy at the hotel.

“This hotel is recently remodeled, I believe and they have done a great job. Me, my boyfriend, and my parents all stayed at the hotel over Christmas and it was a fantastic stay. You can walk out of the hotel and within walking distance are several restaurants, bars, a comedy club, and a star bucks. A problem that I had was with the pet policy. Luckily, my mother didn't have a reaction, but I don't appreciate being misinformed and I really don't like hotels that allow pets to roam any and all of the rooms freely.”

• Clean, and the house keeping is nice.
• Did not get the two beds we ordered, the manager is kind of rude.

“We ordered a two queen beds room. When we got there, they said all the two beds room are gone and wanted us to settle down with a king size bed and a sofa bed. However, there was no sofa in our room, but the manager did not believe me and the tune was not nice at all. I was very close to be mad. However, the housekeeping lady was nice and friendly.”

• It was very pretty and comfortable with and the staff was helpful and kind. The food service areas were great! Beautiful setting.
• Can't think of anything I didn't like.
