• Moldy and loud.

“The only good thing about this hotel was it's location. It's located in a cute little plaza with plenty of things to do in the evening. You don't need your car for nightlife. There was noise at all hours of the night. There was little done about it. The folks at the front desk told us we needed to understand that there's not much they can do about guest yelling through their halls. At breakfast we talked to two other couples who experienced similar problems with the front desk staff and the loud halls. Our shower curtain was growing mold. When we brought it up, they told us they could change the shower curtain. Within our two night stay the curtain was never changed after complaining 3 times. We paid $25 for a hot breakfast that contained 5 items to choose from. If the breakfast was hot like it was supposed to be it might not be a problem. Cold sausage and pancakes are not appetizing. I've stayed at hotels who's free breakfast is much better. Bathroom door did not close and deadbolt was broken. Sorry for the inconvenience is all we heard. We checked out a day early and will never return. This hotel was a huge disappointment!”

• The staff was awesome!
• The noise, mildew by swimming pool, no microwave or fridge.

“The staff was terrific. I would like more thought to be put into putting young partiers on the floor of families who like their sleep. The rooms were very clean. Visually nice hotel and bars/restaurants within walking distance. Beds were comfy.”

• This hotel was conveniently located to I-270. The area was nicely landscaped and offered many fine dining choices all within walking distance.

• Upon arriving we found out hotel was overbooked, but they put us in a room in the nearby Doubletree.
• The Doubletree actually was a nicer hotel it seemed, more updated and quiet.

“The receptionist was very apologetic and professional about the inconvenience of going to another hotel because they were overbooked. But the Doubletree Westport was a great alternative!

“I was charged $10 per day for internet access. The room was very dated. Cable channels were inadequate with no access to Fox News. The desk clerk couldn't have cared less.”

• It was close to everything we wanted to do that night.
• No beverage machines.

“I felt the hotel was very nice and so shouldn't complain but the parking was so far away and the front desk said they were having a vendor beverage dispute so there were no soda machines and the only help they could give us was to go into the mall to buy soda. Not a good thing when you go to the mall to buy soda at 10:00 at night and the mall shops have closed already.”

• Decent workout facility and comfy bed.
• The shower was really small and did not have the curved curtain rod that allows extra room to not touch the curtain every time you move.

“Nice lobby with area for free Wi-Fi. Clean rooms, but needed a fresh scent. The bathroom shower area was small with a straight curtain rod so you touched the curtain every move you made. Only one sink to get ready for two people is crowded. Nice workout facility downstairs. Ice machine on the floor, but absolutely no vending machines. If you want a soda, you must order from their restaurant.”

• The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was centrally located for our activities.
• The pool was quite chilly. The elevators were a little scary. The parking was horrible.

“The customer service was very friendly and helpful! Rooms were very nice and spacious. Prices for the restaurants seemed very high, considering there were no complimentary meals or drinks. Parking was very inconvenient in the evening hours, due to all of the restaurants and comedy club nearby.”

• The location was great even though it is not downtown we were able to get where we need to go very easily.
• They do not offer free wireless in your hotel room you have to go to the hotel lobby.

“The location was great you are walking distance from several restaurants. The beds are very comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful. The indoor pool and whirlpool were fun and clean. The hotel stay was an extra bonus to our enjoyable vacation and budget.”

“Really nice hotel, very clean and staff was very friendly. It did take us two requests for towels, but not a big deal, they were very busy. They even had complimentary bags of ice, great idea. We were at a softball tournament, so saved us a stop to get ice. I would highly recommend this hotel and will probably be staying here again next year.”

• While our vehicle was parked in the hotel parking lot it was vandalized.

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was kid-friendly but also a luxury for adults. The staff was very friendly. It was unfortunate that our vehicle was vandalized while parked in the hotel parking lot, but we would not hesitate to stay there again.”

• Conveniently located, courteous staff and numerous restaurant choices nearby.
• First night, the room was noisy (Next to elevator). And moved to different room 2nd Night.

“This a nice hotel with comfortable beds. It was very easy to find right off of I270. Staff was friendly, courteous and very accommodating. The first night our room was noisy because it was located next to the elevators. The next morning I ask for a room change and they obliged with a much quieter room. The only negative I saw was the pool area was messy with a few areas needing paint. The hotel is located in a plaza with a number of excellent restaurant choices. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to others.”

• Poor room service took more than 45 minutes got it free though.

“Would recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates the finer things in life like the extra soft and multiple pillows. Upscale room decor. Very relaxing and didn't need to leave property for meals and located next to plaza with many boutiques, upscale restaurants and nightlife. Will defiantly be returning for more romantic getaways. Took a little too long for room service but they have a policy if it takes more than 30 minutes, it will be complimentary. Indoor pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and state of the art fitness center. Business center with Wi-Fi.”

• Starbucks coffee in the rooms was a nice touch.
• Pool was cloudy; hot tub chemicals were too strong.

“This hotel is dated. In renovating the facility, they took the time to install marble, but overlooked cracked elevator number/lights (they were covered in tape and written on with marker). The staff was slow. We waited in line for 20 minutes behind two other parties to check-in. The bathrooms looked a little grungy, with old fixtures and wallpaper. The in-room coffee service did not include cups, creamer or sugar.”

• I didn't like it.
• They weren't friendly.

“They demanded a credit card to put a deposit for incidentals, hair in the bathtub, mold in the bathtub, window had towels taped to it because it was leaking, showerhead was loose and coming out of the wall, and they put us on the back side of the hotel near the service entrance, the delivery of the trash dumpsters started about 5:30 am and ended around 8 am the back-up beepers were constant, so sleep was non-existent after 5:30am. On check-out the desk clerk was not interested in why our stay was not great. So we were unable to talk with a manager.”

• The fitness center was very nice.

“This hotel is located right in Westport Plaza Mall, so it was very convenient that we never had to go outside in the cold. The hotel let us check in early, which was a nice gesture. The fitness center was very nice and the room was roomy and comfortable.”
