• Nice get-a -way place for a night out in St.Louis area.
• It seemed hard to locate off the frontage road. Went to a different Marriot close by because the directions weren't detailed enough.

• The location was great. It was in a very nice neighborhood and close to many general dining and shopping needs.
• The breakfast was expensive.

“The hotel was much better than I expected. I will definitely stay here when I return to St Louis. The room was arranged to maximize space and was tastefully decorated. Also, the price for the place was incredible.”

• The elevators were placed oddly.

“We have stayed at several hotels in the area but have not been totally satisfied with any of them. The last time we were in St. Louis for her surgery, I decided to walk on Maryville's campus and spotted the Ramada. Now that we have stayed there and liked it so well, it's the only place we will consider in the future. We were totally satisfied with the experience.”

• The beds were very comfortable.
• I wish it had a continental breakfast instead of paying for breakfast.

“We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was convenient for leisure activities in St. Louis and the surrounding wine country areas. The staff helped out tremendously and gave us some good recommendations for places to eat outside the hotel.”

• Beautiful dark furniture with travertine tile floors - beautiful!
• Only one mirror in the room and that was in the bathroom; not good for 2 travelers.

“It was great. We used it to stay overnight before an early morning flight rather than staying at a hotel closer to the airport. It was only three miles and an easy trip down Page Avenue and I-170. There were several bars and restaurants that we were able to walk to.”

• A little difficult to find, but allowed easy access to the expressway. Great stay.

• Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms, kind, accommodating staff and very nice décor.
• Room humidity seemed high, carpet felt vaguely damp to bare feet; housekeeping seemed a bit sloppy.

“My small girls youth group and I had a very nice stay at this hotel. The staff was very accommodating - made sure we got adjoining rooms with two double beds in each, and a fridge. The rooms had nice, upscale decor, were clean and very spacious, and had very comfortable beds. The pool and fitness room were very nice - not huge, but certainly more than adequate, and about what you would hope for in this sort of hotel. All of the public areas of the hotel had very up to date, upscale decor. The lounge area has free coffee at all hours, as well as a microwave, TV, and computers with internet access available. My only complaints were very small - the room humidity seemed high (the carpet felt vaguely damp to bare feet), and the housekeeping seemed a bit sloppy. Also, it would be great if this hotel had a complimentary breakfast, their cafe is a bit pricey for anyone over 12 years old (about $10).”

“Standard room nothing special. Only indoor pool and it was very small and too deep for little children. The staff seemed much stressed. The location was very difficult to find. It was okay for a one night stay. The beds were very comfortable.”

• The hotel was very clean and neat and in a quiet, peaceful location. I liked the free newspapers also.
• I wish they had a complimentary continental breakfast. It's ok to charge for the full, hot breakfast, but the continental could be free.

“We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was a challenge to find the first time, but we liked the location and all the features. The rooms were neat and clean and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was friendly and took time to help us find things in St. Louis. I would love to visit again at this price!”

• Indoor pool and hot tub were great along with comfortable beds.
• Staff did nothing to try to accommodate or room request when we called them weeks before we arrived.

“Hotel was great and the staff was great once we arrived. They did everything to accommodate our wishes once we arrived. But I called the hotel once they accepted our price and the person in reservation would not work with us when we requested a room with 2 double beds. She said that we did not purchase this type of room. I told her that we did not have an option on what type of room we purchased. In the past we have had no problem with any hotels that we purchased through it; they have all worked with us in requesting room types. But this lady was not cooperative at all. I told her that we always stay in a hotel in the St. Louis area between Christmas and new years and they are normally pretty well empty. She said that may be the case, but she could still not guarantee two double beds to us. Well, when we arrived at the hotel the lady at the front desk said a room with two double beds would be no problem at all and she quickly arranged for this request. And the hotel was pretty empty during our stay. My suggestion would be to get the lady I talked to weeks before we arrived out of a position that deals with the public. She had no idea at all how to handle this situation. Other than her, the hotel and the staff working there during our stay was great!”

• It was clean, quiet, and located close to my appointment the next morning.
• Finding it was not too straight forward. I got directions from the Marriott located about a mile away.

• Staff very responsive to special needs. snack bar in the lobby carries good food/drinks for late night.
• One breakfast had hair in the oatmeal--they bought both breakfasts for us and apologized.

“The mattresses were the best we've ever had. Temperature control was good in the room. Freeway access was superb. Staff very accommodating. Cookies at night. Free and fast Internet service in the lobby for checking in flights. Quiet. Beautiful gardens and exercise area.”

• This hotel was clean, well-kept, and up to date. All of the amenities were great. We really enjoyed being so close to the interstate for easy travel.`
• The indoor pool wasn't that great.

• Very few bathroom items (bar of soap, shampoo).

“As I have found with most Courtyards, this hotel was in a convenient location and featured clean rooms, friendly staff, and good amenities for the business traveler, including free wireless access. The room was clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, and staff were excellent. The bathroom only provided a bar of soap and shampoo. I would expect a little more (the usual lotion, perhaps toothpaste, etc..).”

• I like the layout of the room. Available breakfast in the morning.
• Air conditioner broken and remote broke during stay. Staff changed my room and fixed remote. It was inconvenient but it was fixed.

“I liked the location though it is hard to find at first. Breakfast was good and staff helpful. They are very customer oriented. I had a few things that needed attention and the staff was right on it with my first call.”

• The courtyard was being remodeled so we were moved to the full service Maryville Marriott, excellent in every way and very pleased.
• Everything was awesome the beds and linens were amazing.

“This hotel was by far the best we have stayed at in a while. The service was awesome the amenities were fabulous I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family. Thanks for making this an enjoyable stay.”

• Front desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable in giving directions.
• There was no restaurant in the facility or adjacent to the hotel.

“The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and knowledgeable in giving directions to different locations. Unfortunately, there was no restaurant on the premises or adjacent to it. One evening we would have liked to get some dessert or a drink.”

• The pool, fitness area was very clean and appealed greatly to our young children.
• Directions to find it awkward, however staff extremely helpful over phone with instructions.

“The hotel is right next to Maryville University and other businesses. It is right off I-64. However, the way it is situated it is tucked away and you would never know you are near any hassle or bustle. It had a quiet and clean environment but was extremely convenient to get wherever needed.”
