• The front desk.
• Did not appear to be well trained on blocking rooms. Housekeeping did not work at all with guests or front desk. Too long for words.

• No problems whatsoever. Love the beds in this chain of hotel.
• We were completely satisfied with hotel. No problems.

“We were in town for a wedding and are here quite often as we used to live here and have lots of family. We always prefer a Marriott hotel as the beds are extremely comfortable for my husband. Wish I knew the mattress manufacturer. This was an extremely satisfying stay in every way. Loved it!”

• Clean, quiet, nice rooms, good coffee, and kids enjoyed the lobby computer.
• A little too close to interstate.

“Upon arrival the staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave clear instructions on the room, and asked if I had anything else they could help with. The room was clean, comfortable, and the bed was excellent. I would recommend this room to anyone.”

• It was a little confusing to get to.

“I would absolutely stay here again. Both the evening and morning front desk staff were courteous and helpful. Everything was clean. The beds were super comfortable. And I was very impressed that the Jacuzzi and pool were open until 1:00am; excellent for traveling adults who get in late and want to relax before bed. Getting to the hotel is a little awkward because you can see it from the exit ramp, but it's in around Jumpers on a back windy road. But once I got to it, there was ample parking and convenient side entrances after I checked in and had my key card.”

“It was a good location, and the room and bathrooms were clean. I would stay there again. However, when I called the hotel to request a king bed instead of double beds after booking the room, the hotel staff told me that that was not something they could do. They didn't respond in a helpful manner.”

• Nice rooms lobby and pool -- loved the "adult swim" from 11 pm to 1 am!
• A little hard to find.

“A great hotel. Very comfortable beds and attractive rooms. Nice lobby. The pool and hot tub were really nice. We really appreciated that the pool was open until 1 am for adults.”

• The staff and facility were excellent.

“I am extremely pleased with this The Courtyard Marriot. I will defiantly use this again and tell everyone. I am a diabetic and while staying hit a low and needed assistance. I was tended to with smiles and understanding and not looked on as an inconvenience. That was the high point of the whole trip.”

• We asked for a crib, and we told them there was no hurry but, they had it there in 5 minutes. Quick Response.
• You can see the hotel sign from the interstate, but when you get off the exit it is hard to find. It was not marked where you should turn.

“Overall, it was a nice enough hotel. Not sure if it should of been a 3 star. The info I had read said it was newly renovated, so I was surprised to find the furniture showed quite a bit of wear. The bed was comfy though, and the people were nice. Breakfast is not free, think it was 7.95 so, we ate somewhere else. I did feel safe and slept pretty well. But, I would like to see some updated furniture for a 3 star.”

“This was perfect for us and we had a great time. Location and workers were outstanding. A little loud because it's right by the interstate and the air conditioner, but neither was that bad and nothing that couldn't be dealt with. Would stay there again. No questions asked.”

• I liked the kind people, the cleanness of the hotel. The pool hours were very nice they stayed opened at 5:00 AM and closed at 1:00 AM! The food was very delicious!
• To be completely honest I would have to say I have no negative things to say.

“My family and I recently went to the Quad Cities and stayed in this hotel. As soon as I walked in I felt welcome, the lobby was beautiful! The front desk staff right away reached out to welcome us and answer any questions we had. They told us attractions around the area, and how to get there. My family and I walked around and the hotel was very clean and new looking. We were anxious to see our rooms and when we got in them they were very clean, fresh, and welcoming. We headed down to the pool and it was also very clean, and a cute area! The hot tub was a perfect temperature! Outside by the pool there was a courtyard which was very nice, and was a cozy setting to the hotel. And if you didn't read the amenities, there is a fitness room which is always nice! The beds were very comfortable and the showers had nice water pressure and easy working. In the room there was free internet access which was very convenient! When we woke up the next morning there was a complimentary breakfast for 4 hours! The food was absolutely delicious and there were great varieties, such as; healthy food also which I would say is a huge plus. And they also had a full breakfast such as eggs, biscuits, sausage and fresh sweet fruit! Waiters served you your drinks and got anything you needed! They were so polite, sweet, and kind hearted. We felt so welcomed! I also noticed that the maids and janitors were also very polite, they always said Hi, and told us to have a good day! It was all Wonderful! This place is Quality! If I could I would give this place a billion stars! I would absolutely recommend this place! For another note: The Quad Cities was also a very good place to visit!”

• Beds were more comfortable than at some hotels.
• Room felt too humid and a little damp if I didn't blast the air conditioner.

“Overall, the hotel was nice. I extended my stay by one day so I stayed in 1 room the first night and another the rest of the stay. The carpet and sheets felt damp to me in the first room, I turned the air conditioner on pretty high and that helped. The restaurant was just a typical hotel. Breakfast, nothing special but a bit overpriced for what I got. We also experienced a private breakfast for our group, the scrambled eggs were over cooked and cold and they ran out of water and juice several times, most people didn't get any, they did not check to see if it was needed. The hotel television didn't have many good channels to choose from, not even Nickelodeon or Food TV. They could use an exhaust fan in the bathrooms, especially with the high humidity level. I had trouble with the phones having a lot of static on both outgoing and incoming phone calls. Overall, it was a nice hotel. I would stay there again; however, I think the regular price is a bit too much for this hotel.”

“Nice hotel as far as appearance and cleanliness. Location was very good if you want to run around the quad cites. Expensive breakfast and unfortunately for us the air conditioner did not work well on a very hot and humid weekend. Complaining to management got accomplished nothing.”

• I liked the room decor and the beautiful courtyard and lobby.
• It was a little bit tucked away from normal flow of traffic in the area - but that could be a good thing, too!

“My husband and I stayed here while visiting family in the area Memorial Day weekend. The room was clean, quiet, and had nice decor. Although we did not use the pool it was an indoor pool found in the middle of an outside courtyard which was a nice touch. The lobby was nicely decorated and staff was very friendly. I would stay here again. The only odd thing was that it was not easy to see from the road and a little bit tucked away behind a large building. But we just followed the directions and it got us there just fine - and it was not far at all off the beaten path - you just ca not see it from the main road.”

“My third visit to this location. Very clean, accommodating. Free internet access. Although my room was by the elevator and an entrance door, I was never disturbed by other guests. Ten minutes to MLI, seventy-five minutes to DBQ. The only downside was with the lumpy bed pillows.”

“The public areas of the hotel and rooms were very clean. Having a refrigerator and freezer were very helpful for us since we were traveling with our 11 month old. There were many food options within a mile or two of the hotel, including late night options. Restaurants, grocery stores, etc. We were very pleased with our stay, especially at the price we paid. Well worth it.”
