• It was clean and modern with a small kitchen & work area.
• It was not viewable from the main road. Had to hunt for it.

“With the pricelilne negotiator, this was an excellent value. The wireless internet was a little temperamental but at least I had the opportunity to access the internet from my room. Reasonably comfortable bed with a sitting/working area. The small kitchen gave me options not available from a regular hotel. Bathroom and closet were more than adequate for our needs.”

• The kitchen with all appliances provided.
• That there is not any smoking area or rooms. Going outside is very inconvenient.

“I would refer this hotel to all my friends. As long as they don't want to be able to smoke inside. There is also no where outside to smoke that is out of the weather.”

• Nice staff, comfortable room, clean.
• A little hard to find, it is tucked into the side of a shopping center.

“The hotel had a great staff, and the rooms were very clean. The hotel is a little hard to find as it is behind the Golden Corral, but there is a grocery store nearby as well. The police station is across the street, and the officers use the cleaners next door, so I assume crime in the area is very low.”

“Not a very comfortable atmosphere regarding the location. Felt like we had to lock down tight and not go out at night. The front desk service was good and the room was comfortable, but just the area was odd.”

• Nice bathrooms & kitchen was well stocked with dishes for making breakfast.
• The supposedly Queen sized pullout couch was not big enough to sleep two adults.

“Our group of 20 adults stayed in five rooms at this motel. Most said they would rate it overall as a 7 and were satisfied with what they got for it being a 2* motel. The biggest disappointment was the small & not very comfortable pullout couch which was supposed to fit two adults, but didn't. We enjoyed using the kitchen facilities for breakfast. Overall, the accommodations were clean and comfortable.”

• Better than a hotel, it was a suite with complete kitchen.
• Location! Took us forever to find the place, not marked well.

“The rooms in this hotel were wonderful. The location is very hard to find with hardly any big signs to let you see where it is. It is not on a main street; it is back behind some other buildings and really needs a large sign on the side of the building so you can see it from the main street you come in on.”

“I drove past this location three times. It is tucked at the back of a shopping center behind a restaurant. There was no road signage. The room was very clean and the staff friendly. The walls between the rooms are thin so you can hear your neighbors TV. I will stay again. Oh, did I mention they had an Earthquake while I was there?”

• Hotel was very clean. Appeared to be new. Staff was friendly and courteous.
• Only one bed was provided when 2 were requested.

“The hotel appeared to be new. The cleanliness and appearance exceeded my expectations. This hotel only offered one king bed. When I requested a second bed, I was advised the sofa was a pull out bed. I was also told that we could upgrade to a two bed room for an additional fee. I was very disappointed in the response. However, the overall experience for a one night stay was acceptable.”

• The layout was great and included a kitchenette.
• The bathroom door would not close properly.

“Great hotel for what we paid for it. Good points: Layout included kitchenette. Very comfortable bed. Thermostat was accurate and kept room comfortable. Ground floor room was close to all exits. Bad points: Bathroom door would not close properly and therefore would not lock. Hotel does not have direct street access from address listed in information. Travelers get to the hotel by going through a strip mall parking lot.”

• The kitchen was an added feature.
• The walls and doors were very thin therefore noisy.

“I was surprised that the employee at the desk knew how much I paid for my room. I needed sheets for the sofa and was told I had to go to the office to get them. The building was not attached to the office, it was rainy, and dark outside. I didn't feel safe walking over to the office. I felt a hotel staff member should have brought the sheets to me.”

• The staff was very helpful especially when I was accidentally charged twice for second night.
• The hotel seemed a little short of staff because of the room change the did not clean the room or change bed sheets.

“The hotel was clean as a whole and the front desk staff especially was very helpful. This hotel is more setup for business people not really for grand parents with their grandkids. But they tried very hard to please and we really appreciated this. The two day stay as a whole was great. The only trouble we had was the double billing for the second night which was straitened out and I thank them for that.”

• It was convenient to where our sporting event took place.
• The room had a kitchen and there were ants crawling all over.

“Hotel accommodations were fine. I liked the guest laundry on premises and also the availability of tea and coffee throughout the day. The late check out was appreciated as well. The only problem were the ants that were in all the rooms.”

• Nicely appointed studio with kitchen.

“We saw a roach walking across our window sill upon walking in which was caught in Kleenex and given to the manager. We changed rooms. The experience was disgusting! Also - we are two people and were placed in a room that had one full bed and the other person was expected to sleep on the sofa bed. Being a senior citizen this was not at all accommodating.”

• Super comfortable beds and great in-room kitchenette.
• All rooms were non smoking but that was really not a big inconvenience.

• Room was next to maintenance room it was very noisy, hard to sleep.

“With the exception to the noise it was great. After mentioning the noise they sent us a coupon good for our next stay. So we can not complain too much.”

• The hotel has rooms that can accommodate a family of 6.
• Electrical room causes beds to vibrate. Hotel staff needs customer service training.

“Worst night I've ever spent in a hotel, and I hotel a lot. Our room was adjacent to the electrical/mechanical room and it hummed so loud my bed was vibrating. There was also a loud clicking noise worse than Chinese water torture. I was exhausted the next morning. When I complained to the hotel staff, they just said, "well, if you stay here again, we'll just make sure you get a different room."”

• The rooms had amazing, comfortable beds and linens, and great extras like fridge & stove.
• Lobby was tiny and no continental breakfast.

“Extraordinary cleanliness and comfort made the Town place a fine place for our family of 5. My older kids stayed in one room, and we were right across the hall. Great sleep.”

• It was kind of hard to find. Not out in the open.

• It had everything that a person needs in one room.
• Hard to find.

“This was a nice hotel. The room had a kitchen in it including a dish washer, frig, stove. It also had dishes and silverware. Everything a person could want in a hotel. We were very pleased except for it was hard to find. It sets back off of the street.”

• I liked everything about it. I couldn't have asked for a better place.
• The only thing was I didn't notice a sign by the road it was back a bit.

“Beds were unbelievably comfortable as were the pillows. The kitchen was like a real mini kitchen, oven, stove top, microwave, fridge, and even a dishwasher. It was immaculate. The pool was so relaxing, not too hot, not too cold, absolutely perfect. I can't say anything negative at all about the hotel itself. Thanks and look forward to staying again.”

• When we drove into the parking area, we noticed all the cars were late model and in good condition. No Junkers.
• It sets behind the Golden Coral, hard to see from the road.

“This hotel was clean, reasonable, the staff was friendly and helped us pick a place for dinner and also suggested a place to avoid for dinner.”

• It was very comfortable and clean with a very nice staff.
• There wasn't anything we could find that we didn't like.

“Our stay there was very enjoyable. The lady that checked us in was named Candy and she was so nice and helpful. She helped us with directions we needed and recommended some good places to eat. We appreciated her help and kindness. The room was so nice and it was a very pleasant experience being there. We were comfortable and slept well. We definitely plan to stay there again the next time we visit St. Louis!”

• This hotel provides a kitchen, with appliances and dishes, for it's patrons.
• The pool was not available during my visit.

“This hotel is perfect for business travelers, or those having an extended stay. The full kitchen, with dishes and appliances, is -great- if you prefer to cook your own food. The staff are very helpful and courteous.”

• Helpful staff. Offer pack-n-play cribs. Have good coffee in lobby.
• Hard to find; no signs on main road. Pool out of service.

“The Town place Suites are more than just four walls for the harried business traveler The rooms are pleasantly appointed and clean, and the bed is laden with pillows. The kitchenettes should be called kitchens. Make your coffee in your room or have in the lobby 24/7. Town place does its best to make you feel at home.”

• Friendly staff, nice rooms, very quiet, quick and efficient check-in and check-out.
• It's very hard to find (call them for directions).

“There are two separate buildings, which women traveling alone may not like; seemed to be mostly business travelers; very quiet; very near to many stores and restaurants; outdoor pool was not filled even though it was June; generally a nice place for a quiet night, but not necessarily suitable for families with younger children.”

• The bed was heavenly!
• No signs to help find it. The walls are THIN!

“The outside appearance of this hotel is very friendly - almost looks like a nice apartment complex. It was, however, difficult to find. The staff said it there was no sign age because of city zoning. Once inside, though, the staff was helpful. The room was large and spacious with a wonderful bed! Nice little kitchenette, too, if you require one. All in all a nice stay!”

• Our room was very nice and comfortable.
• There were 600 kids in the hotel for a convention which made it very noise, elevators were impossible to ride , the pool was over run and noisy.

“My husband was riding the Katy train on his bike in 2 days and after riding for over 120 miles that day on his bike we were hoping for a more relaxing atmosphere not like we were in the middle of a school trip. It would be nice to know about something of that magnitude before showing up at the end of an exhausting day.”
