• The TV it was rather small for the room and space.

• I wish it was closer to the downtown.

• Very quiet. Each room has separate entrance!
• A little hard to find.

“Bed was extremely comfortable. Very quiet. Even though hotel seemed full never heard any sounds! A little out of the way but within 5 minutes of lots of shopping and restaurants.”

• Great location, clean and friendly staff.
• Didn't have any issues, plenty of towels and accommodations.

“The hotel was a great place and conveniently located to everything we needed in St. Louis. The staff was excellent, professional and the continental breakfast was awesome.”

• The staff were wonderful and helpful.
• The rooms did not appear as we expected.

“We were a little shocked when we arrived in our room, expecting something different. However we quickly got over that with the wonderful effort and friendliness of the staff. Their service was wonderful and had an answer for every problem. Traveling with three children for long periods of time can sometimes be dreadful where lodging is concerned, but the Chesterfield Residence Inn was wonderful and took great care of us.”

• They had a fireplace in the room and the front desk had wood for us to burn.
• Can't think of anything.

• The wood burning fireplace, roomy, well set up.
• No indoor pool or indoor whirlpool, room smelled like smoke even though all room were smoke free rooms.

“The hotel was nice, very functional rooms, nice beds and pillows, wood burning fireplace was romantic and add a level of comfortable warmth on a cool day. Fully loaded kitchen, large desk with high speed data port, phone, electrical outlets, etc. Just wished they had at least and indoor whirlpool, but they did let us use indoor pool and hot tub at the Springhill Suites just next door, another Marriott property.”

• Friendly staff, great breakfast and comfortable rooms.
• A little off the beaten path.

“My family and I had a wonderful stay. After a long day on the road the front desk clerk kept the pool open an extra thirty minutes, we could relax in the hot tub. The room was very clean and everything we needed was readily available.”

• Difficult to get onto I40 from hotel.

• The room was fantastic, the kitchen was perfect and the room furniture and fireplace. The breakfast buffet was fantastic!
• Hearing the people above us, they were so noisy.

“The staff and housekeeping were so friendly! We ate the breakfast buffet the next morning, the food was fantastic! There was a large selection to choose from, this was great. Our bed was very comfortable a lot of pillows which I like. The kitchen had an electric range and large fridge furniture in the room was nice and the large desk/table was convenient My husband liked the setup, it was easy to set up his computer. If, I would have to stay here for a long time I would be comfortable. A lot of closet space and a fireplace which would have been great during winter season. It's a great place for business travelers and people who have to stay for a long period of time. Again, I highly recommend this hotel for vacation and business travelers.”

• New accommodations; well equipped room; very good breakfast, friendly staff.
• Long distance from town.

• Staff, food, amenities.
• A used wash rag left draped over shower head in bathroom. bed sheets and bedspread all looked wrinkled, even though they were apparently clean.

“All in all, on my list of top-notch hotels where I've stayed. Room was nice, not to die for, but nice. but the staff, the breakfast crew, front desk, etc. were just simply wonderful. The food was really marvelous. ”

• It was very spacious - 2 bathrooms were very convenient.
• Nothing.

“We were very happy with this hotel. It met all of our needs perfectly. Two meals were included so that was a bonus. We were traveling with 2 of our grown children and the hotel offered lots of privacy for each of us because of the way it was laid out.”

• For a family vacation the rooms were great. The kitchenette would be great for an extended stay.
• Only 1 thing. The food at the complementary breakfast was great, but the dishes needed additional cleaning.

“Other than the dishes at breakfast the hotel was great. The complementary breakfast was the best I've had. Even a Halloween toy for our 2 year old. I would recommend calling the hotel to get exact directions as the directions given online were not at all correct.”

• Access is a bit difficult, esp at night (first time)

“Bedding was mediocre. Just beginning a complete renovation. Room was clean. TV small and awkwardly placed in room. Staff very attentive and efficient. Check in and out was very quick. Even tho a long term stay facility they made up room completely each day.”

• They kept me awake from 3:30 am to 5am shoveling snow!

“I thought that this hotel operated by Marriott would have been more accomodating. I had to stay in a one bedroom with a pull out for the second bed. They were also shoveling snow at 3:30am on a Saturday (very little snow) when I was trying to get away on a relaxing vacation. I called and they said there was nothing that could be done. They said the city was cleaning their lot. I doubt if the city would clean a private lot. I was not happy with this hotel.”

“Great hotel for the price as I was upgraded for free! Lots of amenities, too. However, parking was a problem, there weren't enough spaces in the hotel lot at this particular lodging, especially if one arrived later at night. Need better parking! Otherwise, great place.”
