• The room was large and clean.
• Difficult to find. Hotel's directions hard to follow.

“Although this hotel was easy to see from the highway, it was difficult to get to once we exited. Aside from that, the hotel was clean. Our room with a king bed had lots of pillows. The room was clean and bright and larger than normal. We never had to adjust the room's thermostat. The bathroom fan was noisy, a minor complaint. Pet friendly with no surcharge for our dog.”

• Room was clean, nicer than expected.
• Located next to an animal rendering facility. Did not smell inside, but the smell outside was just awful.

“This hotel was much nicer than I expected. The room was clean and comfortable and fairly quiet. The biggest drawback is that the hotel is located very near an animal rendering facility. Although the interior did not smell the parking lot sure did.”

• Grounds (exterior) well maintained, beautifully landscaped, beds luxuriously comfortable, exquisite clean lobby area, awesome brunch!
• Noisy, room doors slamming shut at 2:13 am 1 night & 2:30 another; could hear music, partying late night, cobwebs on lamps, bathrooms tight.

“We rented 2 rooms for 3 nights/4 days. Customer service is excellent. Facilities and exterior are beautifully maintained. Brunch is to-die-for, especially their cook-to-order egg omelette's. The 2 rooms we rented were small. We needed to sleep 3 adults in one of the rooms and there were no rooms that could accommodate 3 adults without using a roll-in sleeper.”

• The staff was friendly and efficient.
• It looked rundown outside which made inside feel rundown also.

“Beds weren't that comfortable and
I have seen better continental breakfast. The outside appeared shabby which made me judge the inside more harshly but overall the hotel room was clean and our stay was short anyways. Would be best for a short one night stay.”

• Rooms were clean and spacious.
• Blanket on bed had something dried on it in several places.

“Nice location and clean and spacious. Tried to call front desk by dialing "0" and could not reach anyone. Called the main number from my cell phone and when someone answered after several rings he went on to explain to me that I needed to dial "166" to reach the front desk. I said that if this is the case it should be on your phones or on a card attached to the phone. He said that they tell their guest o check in although no one said anything to me. Other than the blanket with the numerous dried on spots it was clean.”

• Good basic place to sleep.
• Had to wait 10 minutes for the clerk to open the lobby door. It then took another 15 minutes to check me in, without any other interruptions.

“It is clean, the parking is well lit. There is no elevator so be prepared to haul your bags up three flights of stairs. Ice and vending is all the way at the end of the hotel and only in one place. It is ok for a place to sleep, a little pricey for what you get.”

• The maid staff was nice.
• Not enough food for 7 days of breakfast. They ran out of things.

“This is the kind of hotel that I would stay at in a pinch. I will do everything in my power to make sure that I don't stay at another Baymont Inn and Suites.”

• It had a bed.
• Tons of dogs! There was dog urine on the floor by the elevator! Could hear barking throughout night. Teenagers partying in hallways!

“One of the worst hotel stays I've ever experienced. Not sure if this is the only hotel that allowed dogs in the area, but there were tons of dogs--big, little, you name it. There was dog urine in front of the elevator. Dogs barking through night. Kids partying in hallways. Poor customer service. Staff was very slow and not friendly. Didn't really clean our room. Took towels but did not replenish them. No towels at the pool. Overall experience was bad!”

• Friendly and everything very close by.
• Stayed there 2 nights there was popcorn, candy, garbage, and a dirty sock on floor around bed frame & under dresser.

“The room could be cleaner. Dirt, popcorn, candy wrappers etc. and a dirty sock collecting around bed frame and under the dresser. Otherwise everything easy access-pool, vending, breakfast.”

• The food is great.
• Could use more variety on the menu.

“The Steak was excellent and cooked just as I had requested. The stuffed potato, side vegetables, rolls, and Salad were just an added bonus. My wife got the Blackened Tuna and enjoyed it as well. The atmosphere was upscale from most restaurants in Wilson. We enjoyed it a lot and will definitely be returning.”

• Good and clean, pleasant rooms, good beds, wireless internet.
• Did not like the big fluffy soft pillows.

“It is a nice enough hotel. Everything seemed to be well maintained. The rooms and hallways are clean. The staff is efficient and friendly. Check-in quick and easy, as was the check-out. The wireless internet is free and easy to access. The beds were above average at this price point and the free breakfast, though I did not eat it myself, looked better than most and featured waffles and other like items. It seemed to be very popular. I would recommend this hotel to any travelers that want a nice reasonably priced room.”

• I did not care for the staff, and the fact that breakfast was not served until 7am.

• Desk staff un available for check out, pool over run with unruly children (some unsupervised), not enough seating @ breakfast - supplies not replenish.

“Convenient location if traveling rate 80. Last minute availability A+. Rooms adequate and nicely decorated. Seemed to be inadequate staffing (?) Pool overrun with unruly children, some unsupervised. No desk attendant available to check out at 8:15 am. Continental breakfast nice, but no one around to replenish coffee and food items. Don't know if I hit it on a bad day or if this is normal?”

• No sign indicating name of hotel where we entered, just a symbol.

“Nice room, clean, and well kept, courteous staff, the only thing that needs changing is they need to have the name of the hotel on the sign, there is currently just a symbol near the entrance to the parking lot and we weren't sure if that was the right place, later we saw that there is a tall sign on the freeway side of the hotel.”

• Ran out of hot water at 11;00PM and we still did not have hot water at 8:00 AM.

“Very slow at making emergency repair. Please respond to this problem of no hot water at this hotel for more then eight hours. I will be expecting a sizable refund for this problem, as I could not clean up for a meeting I had that day.”

• One of the staff members was very friendly.
• The one friendly staff member was the only one working. When checking in, if she was doing something else there was no one at the front desk.

“They were very under-staffed. We stood at the front desk for a while before someone checked us in. She then proceeded to give me a $3.94 refund which I wasn¿t complaining about. She didn't really want to print me a receipt but I asked for one. ”

• The complimentary breakfast was better than average.
• The hotel room was ok overall but there were marshmallows stuck to the ceiling of the room and bathroom was not supplied with shampoo.

“The hotel could have been much better but the problems I had were minor, all thought they should not have happen they were not the worst I have been exposed to either.”

• They had a nice breakfast bar area.
• I had to change rooms twice. There hotel was pet friendly.

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. If there was an option of a half stars this would be the place. First of the hotel smelt bad on the lower level like there was flooding only to learn it was pet friendly. The elevator looks like it¿s on its last limb (shaking and very loud). The beds and bedding had to be 10yrs old at least. Then there's the convenience of the ice and vending machines. None located on the 4th floor. Traveled down to the 3rd floor pop machine empty, 2nd floor empty, and 1st floor empty. Nearest store about 2 1/2 miles away.”

• It was dirty and run down and hard to locate.

“This hotel was very hard to get to. We could see it, but could not get to it. It took us three times around town to figure it out. It was run down and dirty although the people that were with us had seen worse. I would not go back. The only saving grace was the continental breakfast was ok.”
