• The trip there was fine.
• I did not care for the staff, and the fact that breakfast was not served until 7am.

• Nice amenities; pool and continental breakfast.
• Desk staff un available for check out, pool over run with unruly children (some unsupervised), not enough seating @ breakfast - supplies not replenish.

“Convenient location if traveling rate 80. Last minute availability A+. Rooms adequate and nicely decorated. Seemed to be inadequate staffing (?) Pool overrun with unruly children, some unsupervised. No desk attendant available to check out at 8:15 am. Continental breakfast nice, but no one around to replenish coffee and food items. Don't know if I hit it on a bad day or if this is normal?”

• Clean, courteous.
• No sign indicating name of hotel where we entered, just a symbol.

“Nice room, clean, and well kept, courteous staff, the only thing that needs changing is they need to have the name of the hotel on the sign, there is currently just a symbol near the entrance to the parking lot and we weren't sure if that was the right place, later we saw that there is a tall sign on the freeway side of the hotel.”

• The dining area was too small. One morning there was no where my children & I could sit as tables all occupied.

• Staff was very friendly and helpful, even called our room to make sure everything was okay.
• Very limited TV channels, especially no children channels.

• Ran out of hot water at 11;00PM and we still did not have hot water at 8:00 AM.

“Very slow at making emergency repair. Please respond to this problem of no hot water at this hotel for more then eight hours. I will be expecting a sizable refund for this problem, as I could not clean up for a meeting I had that day.”

• One of the staff members was very friendly.
• The one friendly staff member was the only one working. When checking in, if she was doing something else there was no one at the front desk.

“They were very under-staffed. We stood at the front desk for a while before someone checked us in. She then proceeded to give me a $3.94 refund which I wasn¿t complaining about. She didn't really want to print me a receipt but I asked for one. ”

• The complimentary breakfast was better than average.
• The hotel room was ok overall but there were marshmallows stuck to the ceiling of the room and bathroom was not supplied with shampoo.

“The hotel could have been much better but the problems I had were minor, all thought they should not have happen they were not the worst I have been exposed to either.”

• They had a nice breakfast bar area.
• I had to change rooms twice. There hotel was pet friendly.

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. If there was an option of a half stars this would be the place. First of the hotel smelt bad on the lower level like there was flooding only to learn it was pet friendly. The elevator looks like it¿s on its last limb (shaking and very loud). The beds and bedding had to be 10yrs old at least. Then there's the convenience of the ice and vending machines. None located on the 4th floor. Traveled down to the 3rd floor pop machine empty, 2nd floor empty, and 1st floor empty. Nearest store about 2 1/2 miles away.”

• It was disappointing that the hot tub was not working - and not been for 14 days.

• The breakfast was fine for kids
• It was dirty and run down and hard to locate.

“This hotel was very hard to get to. We could see it, but could not get to it. It took us three times around town to figure it out. It was run down and dirty although the people that were with us had seen worse. I would not go back. The only saving grace was the continental breakfast was ok.”

• The staff was just great. We also really liked the waffles.
• Baymont is a great chain. We liked everything.

“We love the Baymont chain and were thrilled that it was of our type of hotel!! We were able to get two rooms for the price of one so my older kids all got beds! (We have 5 teenagers!) The pool area was well maintained, the towels were fluffy! The breakfast at Baymont has a waffle machine and terrific Danish. Kids are very comfortable but I am sure that business travelers would find this hotel a welcoming stop.”

• It was far away from all activity and carpet was wavy and loose.

• Large room, furnishings nice, very sound proof and excellent A/C.
• It needs a sign where you drive in. Difficult to see their flagpole sign because of Cracker Barrel sign. Sign age on driveway would be a big help.

“We were in Davenport for a wedding and it fit our needs on all fronts. We used the washer/dryer and would have used pool if we had more time. Staff friendly, breakfast had hard boiled eggs one day, yogurt, cold cereal and waffles (make your own - was easy).”

• Swimming pool, spa area.
• Cleanliness of the rooms was poor, carpet in bad shape and definite odor in hallway.

“One of the rooms that was rented had a terrible odor (animal), dirty sock, and trash on the floor. In all the rooms, the carpet was in bad repair as well as odor in the hall. The pool, spa are was fine.”

• Converted smoking room was still quite smoky.

“Due to my ground floor request to ease my merchandise unloading process, I was placed in the last room available. It was as I was told, " A Non-smoking Room that was recently (one month ago) converted from a Smoking Room." It still smelled like a smoker's room. I found previous guest hair in the tub, but the staff at the desk was very nice.”

• The Staff at breakfast in the lobby was very helpful and friendly!
• I thought the rooms were dirty. Especially the bathroom.

• The front desk staff was polite.
• Carpet was dirty and room was stinking. Broken furniture and coffee pot. Never refilled the complementary coffee, sugar etc.

“The overall rating is very poor. The room service was very poor same as the stinking room itself. The carpets were very dirty and it is not recommended to walk on the carpet without proper footwear. My room had a broken coffee pot and furniture.”

“This hotel was very clean and nice. The staff was very friendly. When I told the desk clerk that the rear entrance door would not latch, he immediately went to correct the problem. He didn't just say OK and do nothing. Breakfast was great!!! Very nice variety including waffles. Thank-you.”

• The location was very nice and secluded, with little to no traffic or outside noise. Very nice.
• A lobby computer for public use would be helpful.

“The Baymont was very nice. The pool area was very pleasant and well used by us during our stay. The breakfast area and continental breakfast was top notch and enjoyed by all of us during our stay.”
