• The toilet had ashes in it the pillow had had hair on it the heater/air clicked LOUDLY and couldn't sleep!

“There were a pair of someone's dirty underwear on our floor when we arrived in the room! The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The toilet had ashes in it. The air was on full blast and it was FREEZING in the room (the glass was frosted) The heater didn't work/clicked VERY LOUDLY as did the air conditioner and you couldn't sleep. There was also rotten food in the fridge!”

• It had a pool and they had fresh towels ready.
• Some of the common areas were smoky. People were allowed to smoke too close to the building.

“The hotel was 2 miles from all the restaurants you could want. Shopping too. The room was clean. However, the sheets were poorly fitted and slipped off the mattress when you rolled over. The pillows were disastrous. We took advantage of the continental breakfast which was adequate but poorly staffed. The trash cans overflowed and they were low on the essentials - like milk!”

• I really like the hotel complimentary breakfast. The coffee could be stronger but overall good quality.
• The garbage in the hallway could be emptied more often. The air conditioning in the rooms and hallways were struggling in the summer heat.

“The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with any needs that we had. I think the breakfast was very good although some items would run low or out when they changed personnel.”

• Good coffee.
• Elevators need vacuum. Service cabinet was falling down in breakfast room, only one towel in room. Coffee pot still had coffee in it when we moved I.

“Needs to have a better manager. He is not in touch with what needs to be done.”

• The Day Clerk was very friendly. The hotel had a very clean appearance.
• A spider crawled across my arm in my room. I took it to the night clerk and he had nothing to say, threw it in the trash and showed no concern.

“The Hotel was very attractive inside. It had a great continental breakfast and most of the personnel at the front desk were friendly. A lot of the cleaning staff could barely speak English which made it difficult to communicate. The room felt crowded, the curtains need a retainer to keep them out of the air-conditioning path and the keys had to be reprogrammed several times.”

• Had a refrigerator in the room.
• Our room was not cleaned in our 2 1/2 day stay, used the same towels etc. during the entire stay even after bringing it to their attention.

“Under staff, upon checking in no one was at the desk, upon entering the property the desk clerk did not look up from game on his computer and acknowledge us. When bringing a problem to their attention there was no attempt to care for it and a lack of interest. The general manager was unavailable. Breakfast bar was a mess and unsupplied.”

• Not a thing.
• Room was dirty. Spiders in the window and bathtub. Walls paper was thin. Kids next door woke up very early and very noisy.

• Breakfast was good -Hotel was clean -Employees were nice.
• They don't keep things in lost and found very long!

“We were very pleased with this hotel. Things were in good shape and the employees were friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• Excellent free breakfast.
• There were ants all over the room. They came home with me in my luggage. They destroyed my food.

“This hotel was too far from my ultimate destination. The traffic getting there was terrible because of a major construction project. The food was great. But there were ants all over the room and they came home in my luggage and are all over my house now. Yuck!”

• Foyer area.
• Ants in the room.

“The room was average, furnishings didn't appear too old. The hotel was a little ways off the beaten path, and a little hard to find, its off Long Road, but the map says Airport Road, a little confusing.”

• INCREDIBLE Value! Very friendly staff. Meet needs very well.
• Could use some updating but not concerned considering the price.

“Great hotel and a great value. I dealt with 2 staff members who were both very friendly and helpful. The room was actually roomier then I was expecting. Slight air freshener smell to room but not an issue. Room was well cleaned and bed was very comfortable. Very convenient and safe location. I just needed one night for a biz trip and it worked out very well. Would definitely stay at again!”

• Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms and overall amenities were clean.
• Small pool and no whirlpool. Continental breakfast ending at 9:00.

“The comfort inn lived up to its Name, comfortable, clean, and friendly. The general facilities seemed well maintained, bright and not dingy. Room amenities were adequate and in working order. Beds were a little on the hard side. Pillows were the typical low-end no-substance pillows found in most middle of the road hotels. Hint: a good pillow goes a long way in making a mediocre bed seem more comfortable.”

• Very clean, almost-new, reasonably-priced, included complete breakfast and Internet service.
• They left note that they wouldn't clean our room because we had "Do not disturb" still on our door at 9am - seemed strange to us.

“It's the only place we've stayed in St. Louis, so can't compare with others. However, we were generally quite happy there, and would stay there again.”
