J. R. from Sioux City, IA
“I will make sure I do not stay there again.” Jul 3, 2005 by
Jonathan from Sioux Center, IA
“The least attractive (and most expensive) hotel on my latest trip, but still up to the standard I'd expect of a one-star budget establishment.” May 2, 2005 by
Jeanne from Springfield, MO
“For the price I got the room at - the stay was reasonable. I wouldn't have paid any more for it. There was supposed to be free dial up internet in the room - no local numbers were available. There was supposed to be wireless internet access in the lobby - it was substandard and would not hold a connection. There was supposed to be internet access available on the computer in the lobby - that internet access was substandard - the computer was locked up and wouldn't access anything. The most important feature to me was the nightly rate and the second most important feature was the internet access. I was very pleased with the first and very displeased with the second. If a refund of the rate had been easily attainable, I would have changed motels the first night. For those persons not needing internet, the rooms were fine and the bed comfortable. The staff was courteous.” Apr 22, 2005 by
Cecelia from Rockford, IL
“I went to this hotel a couple of years ago when going on a trip on the spur of the moment. (no reservations) It costs more that way. I was happy to get the less expensive rate.” Jan 10, 2005 by
Andrew from Oak Park, IL
“This hotel was old but was kept in very clean and in good condition. The beds do need to be replaced, very saggy, we kept rolling to the middle.” Oct 1, 2004 by
Frances R. from Portage “The hotel had outside entrances and was located in a rather seedy area. It advertised wireless internet but it was only with 10 feet of the office and they wanted you sit at the bar while you used it.” Sep 29, 2004 by
Teresa W. from Boone, IA “This hotel was clean, friendly, and worth the price to stay there. They had a very nice breakfast in the morning. I would recommend staying if you are in the Dubuque area. This hotel was close to the downtown area.” Sep 29, 2004 by
Mary N. from Lapeer, MI “The location was good, but the hotel was older, smaller rooms/restroom and had spider webs. I would only stay there again if everything else in the town was full.” Sep 3, 2004 by
Mary P. from Chicago, IL “Nice clean large room, great continental breakfast with make-them-yourself waffles, the breakfast room has large windows that look out at the pool area. It's a charming Days Inn.”
