• I liked the view of the river and the location.
• The hotels appearance. I didn't want to sleep in that room.

“This was our 2nd time to the hotel. This visit was very disappointing. The room sheets had holes all over them. The comforters had food or something stuck on them. The floor looked like it had not been cleaned in ages. The Waterpark was dirty and very, very understaffed. The staff that was working did seemed to be more interested in being social with each other. The brunch tasted good the next day but the staff again was rude and not interested in helping out at all. The restaurant was also very dirty and not appealing at all. I do not believe we will ever go back. Over all very disappointed with the whole experience. For the money we had to pay I don't think the experience was great at all. My children did have fun but they don't notice the little things that seem big to adults. Cleanliness, courtesy.”

• We liked the casino and museum being so close.

“The hotel was clean and staff very helpful. Casino and water park were within walking distance. Water park looks much larger on internet - it is for smaller children not teenagers.”

• Clean, good location, good value, and fun.
• Bad coffee, watermark hot for non-swimmers.

“Location is great in Dubuque. Walk to almost all attractions. Also short distance to Galena. Very clean and Staff was very friendly. Water park is great for kids, but I suggest you bring & wear water shoes as they have ropes you/kids can walk on and they hurt bare feet. If you don't use the ropes, they have stairs, but the kids WANT to use the rope walks. Kids had a blast. Food prices are very reasonable.”

• Staff is very helpful and every request was met with a smile and can do attitude.
• Nothing.

“Excellent location overlooking the Mississippi river and water park great for the kids and with the Diamond Jo casino just across the parking lot what more could you ask for!”

• Rooms are very spacious, pillows very comfortable & entire place extremely clean!
• Nothing. All was great. Hoping they can make the walk along the River even longer.

“Its ideal location on the Mississippi River makes for a romantic getaway, especially with Galena just minutes away. While it caters to families due to the water park, if you're visiting without kids, at times you don't even realize there is a water park on the premises. The rooms are very spacious, making it that much better. We've been here several times, and will always come back.”
