• Halls smelled musty.

“Average hotel. Nothing fancy. Rooms were clean but smelled a little musty.”

• Quiet very quiet at this hotel.
• There breakfast choices.

“This hotel being right off the major highway through town is a big plus. And the position of the building you don't hear all the traffic. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and have a home like feel to them.”

• Very easy to find, close to restaurants and Wal-Mart and Farm & Fleet, bed was comfortable, room was clean.
• Pets are obviously allowed in first floor rooms, smelled like pet urine. We moved to 2nd and it was fine. Very little to choose from at continental breakfast.

“It was a typical Super 8. The "pets allowed" thing is not my bag, and most of the hotels in that area of Muscatine allow them. We were first given room 110 and it smelled like pet urine, but they were easily persuaded to move us to 2nd floor and it was fine. We got a good night of sleep, comfortable beds. The bathroom hardware could be exchanged for newer, plastic hardware faucets get moldy and hard to clean, also hard water deposits. Also, the vinyl bathroom floor was coming up.”

• Stairs were somewhat slanted.
