• Management did try to rectify situation.
• Floor was dirty.

“Upon entering my room, there was a very strong and pungent odor. The scent/odor would not go away after several attempts to deodorize the room.”

• Nothing, it was a sorry place. I had to get a room at another hotel.
• There was nothing that I liked about this hotel.

“The room had flooded. There was no other room available. The carpet was little wet. The staff was rude.”

• Good location in quiet neighborhood yet close to Interstate and businesses.
• TV Remote control not working and TV only about 14".

“Check in went well. Remote control in room not working. This was never corrected by staff. Kitchenette well stocked except for a can opener. Many residents are working and FEMA residents. Staff was friendly and helpful.”

• The convenient location close to the testing center I had an appointment.
• The hotel was very unclean throughout. The first room we were given was not cleaned since the last customer left. The bed was unmade, food on table.

“The outside appearance of the hotel was very nice, but upon entering the lobby it was noticeable unclean. The staff was very unorganized and unfriendly. The first room we were given was uncleaned, so a new room was given to us which was cleaned but not very well.”

• Located in quiet area.
• Hotel was not well kept, a lot of things was in disrepair and it was filthy.

“Not a very good place to stay at all. Staff initially assigned me a room that had not been cleaned from previous guest. The room I moved to was not much better. Bed was horrible. Hotel was filthy and not very well kept. Certainly would not suggest to anyone.”

• The rooms were cozy and clean.
• People hanging out in the front of the hotel and lobby made me feel unsafe.

“The hotel was economy. I didn't like the way people hung out in the front of the hotel and lobby day and night, made me feel unsafe, although they were nice and no one harassed us, I just feel comfortable with that. The rooms were nice cozy and fairly clean. The staff was nice and the location was right in town, near everything. Not bad overall, I really don't have much to complain about. We left early.”

• It was a good location, but other than that it was poor quality!
• Hotel was rated as a 2 star, but was no where near that rating. Maybe a 1 star at best.

“I stay in La Quintal motels all the time and even though some of them aren't great they are much better than the Crestwood Suites. This place was more like a trailer park!”

• Claustrophobic. Burns in carpet. Mildew smell. Dirty. Stains in carpet.

“We stayed for 3 nights at the Crestwood. Upon entering our room, we saw the un-cleanliness, the burns and stains in carpet, and the room was pitiful. We tried to be changed into another room, but the next was even worse. We immediately abandoned the premises, forfeiting our money, and checking into a much cleaner hotel. I would never, under no circumstances, ever recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• Rooms had bug, furniture was dirty, floors weren't mopped,& the smallest TV in the room.

“I can not say anything positive about my stay. This was the worst. That night did not live up to the quality of service that I have enjoyed with for over eight years now.”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was equipped with a fridge & microwave.
• The room was small.

“The hotel was clean and convenient to where I needed to go. There were family friendly restaurants near-by (within walking distance), and having the in-room refrigerator and microwave was handy for making quick meals in the room.”

• Scary entrances.

“This time - scary! Arrived at 11:00 p.m. From dance recital and front entrance was crowded with people who had been there at 5:00 p.m. When we checked in - hanging out. Back entrance had same thing, just different race. I was traveling alone with my 13 year old son and we did not feel safe. No manager on duty when we arrived at 11:00 p.m. Hotel smelled of cooking in hallways and had TV noise from those living there. Some rooms doors were ajar. Roach in bathroom sink and tub had several spiders in it. Sink in bath had not been cleaned at all. Bed hard and sunken in middle.”

• Very cheap construction, bed mattress was bowed.

“I would give it a star and a half...the half being that it was very clean, had toiletries in the bath room, but no sugar and creamer for the coffee pot. The office was not open at the time I departed in the morning, with no coffee in the lobby.”

“The hotel was reasonably clean and the front desks help relatively helpful; the coffee pot had some weird slime growing inside the filter holder! There were various areas of disrepair within the room. More troubling were the other occupants wondering the halls with bottles of beer in their hands, and drunk. Worse yet was that every night from somewhere in the halls were loud and somewhat frightening domestic violence fights, along with repeated times of gang members making threats to each other”

• The manager was very nice and understood that we were upset with the overall appearance and cleanliness of the hotel.

“When we saw this hotel was a 2 star figured no problem just staying for a couple nights. Hotel smelled, we arrived after 10 pm to find out the front desk was locked and the front desk people to be behind locked doors. We had to seek help from people that were living at the hotel to get checked in. Furniture in rooms were worn, we tried to open a window to air out room and the window fell off the track and lucky we caught it before it crashed to the ground below. This hotel is NOT a 2 star hotel.”

• The hotel was not clean but the staff did let me stay in the model because I had my toddler with me.
• The first room they put me in was absolutely filthy. (The couch).

“Don't stay here especially women alone or with children. The furniture was old looking and dirty. Strange men were lurking around the lobby and entrance. Luckily the staff was nice and gave me the model room which was located near the desk. I felt very uncomfortable and would have left the hotel if I would have had to stay in the first room they gave me. It appears that working men are using the suites for housing. Thank God that the desk people were nice and I got the hotel model room near the desk or I would have left.”

• Good location, spacious room with fully functional kitchen.
• Good value for the money. Not fancy, but definitely clean, comfortable bed and room to roam.

“This is the second time we have stayed here. We selected the hotel on our first visit because it was the only thing we could find. We returned because of the comfortable room, good location, and over all positive experience. We were not disappointed.”

• Very friendly and centrally located.
• We never got a shower curtain. But they were sorry.

“All in all, I will stay in this hotel again. I liked having a full kitchen and suite. Our room did not have a shower curtain, and though they ordered one and were very apologetic we didnt get one. We were able to use a family member's shower however. Also, maid service has to be requested, but all and all I thought it was a good trip and will recommend it to friends.”

• Domini was fabulous, any problems I had she did her best to fix.
• Cleaning staff was not friendly and did not do everything on their list, such as trash removal.

• The noise from other rooms,

“The room was fine for what we needed. We were just there for the night. We didn't realize that it was an extended stay hotel until we got there. Except for the noise from the patrons on the floor above and the man on the phone in the room next to ours, every thing was fine.”

• The layout of the room.
• Our room wasn't cleaned until we requested.

“ After a hard days work going to the room to find our card key didn't work because we had to re-rent the room was very inconvenient! The hotel clerk wasn't clear why we had to do it that way. We received a sheet of paper describing their room cleaning agenda and they didn't come to clean the room until we called. We were expecting each day to at least have new towels brought in. After working hard each day and to come in and find at least clean linens for me to put away would have been an improvement. The hotel itself is a well designed hotel, and when we did call they tried to find someone to come in a short time frame, other than that we will probably choose to stay there ageing if we can get the true policy of the hotel and not be surprised by the daily pay for room and the lax linen situation.”

• Having a small kitchen was a nice change compared to other hotels I have stayed in since October. Area around hotel is quiet & makes me feel at home.
• Curtains do not fully block out the light.

“Very well kept. Excellent laundry facility. Convenient location to stores.”

• Hotel is very good. I have already told it to another of my fellow workers from the office.
• Asked about softer mattress, staff had no knowledge of bedding available.

“Typical extended stay suite type of hotel. very convenient, clean and comfortable. All amenities but no workout room available is a drawback. Suite size is very nice but would prefer a real oven in stove as I am staying for more than a month and like to cook.”

“The hotel was clean, bed was not very comfortable smoke detector started beeping at 12:00 at night. No was able to fix it, husband finally took down they did repair next day.”
