• The front desk staff was excellent!
• Nothing at all, great hotel.

“The front staff was simply excellent: friendly, informative, prompt, outstanding! The beds were very comfortable. There was a little outside noise due to traffic on I10, but in all honesty it was no that bad.”

• Pleasant housekeeping staff.

“Disappointing! As a guest the previous week at neighbor hotel Marriott Residence Inn, which was wonderful, this hotel did not compare at a higher price and no complimentary breakfast. Tiny corner room, cluttered furniture, noisy air conditioner, no bath soap - requested from front desk but face soap only, pillows barely larger than those on airplanes. I slept very little as I tried to get comfortable with the pillow and the AC noise.”

• Very nice accommodations - bed, furnishings, etc.
• No complimentary continental breakfast. Breakfast buffet available for $8. just wanted a bagel and coffee.

• Close to highway and many restaurants. Gas stations & other needs also close.
• I had trouble at first to locate it from the exit.

“Well maintained grounds, bldg, pool and interior. Staff was very friendly. I appreciated the amenities in the lobby; coffee, internet, newspaper, etc.”

• Items were missing after room was cleaned on May 16th.

“My phone charger, 2 bottles of cologne and a bottle of sinus medicine went missing from the room, not like it was expensive stuff, it wasn't jewelry or lap top, but however when my partner and I reported this simple fact to the manager he told us "nothing was removed from the room, my housekeepers pass background checks and are good ladies" Note: we were not saying it was a deliberate theft, maybe an accident, who knows, but his response was an insult to my intelligence, because these few items were missing and removed from my room, period. He offered a free breakfast coupon, which was another insult, as far as I am concerned, since he did nothing but basically tell me I was mistaken and nothing was missing and his housekeepers are honorable.”

• Hotel was clean, and staff was friendly.
• Several cars around ours got broken into. It's also a very high traffic area. Pool was small and not too great.

“Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. For the price, a continental breakfast or something would've been nice. Pool was not luxurious, nor even very fun- too small. High traffic area, but lots of great shopping and eating nearby. Several cars near ours did get broken into though, ours had an alarm- maybe only reason 'they' didn't get it too?”

• The facility was clean and very attractive.
• There was construction work in the parking lot right below my window which went on into the evening hours and woke me early in the morning.

“The check in was easy and the staff was great. The night was quiet and the room was comfortable. Only had one glitch when I needed help accessing the high speed internet but that was quickly taken care of by the staff and support techs.”

“Upon arrival I was greeted by a young man working the front desk. He exceeded my expectations by being incredibly friendly while remaining honest. He found a room for me and I was off. My first impression of the room was positive. It was large and had a nice TV. But the bathroom had very limited counter space. I soon found that if I asked housekeeping to come back, they thought it meant the next day. I pretty much had to beg them to come clean on my last day. When I lay on the bed I figured out how they could afford those nice TV's. Let's just say the Westin made this hotel feel like I was sleeping in the bathtub of a college frat house. But then again there was appeal in those old times and I can't say I wouldn't return.”

• The refrigerator in the room looked like a cheesy motel fridge, in the 80s.

• The staff went out of their way to make me and my husband comfortable.
• I requested a smoking room but it was a 100% smoke free environment. The traffic was awful on the weekend due to the mall.

“The hotel was remotely located outside of baton rouge across from soigné lane mall. The coffee in the restaurant was excellent. The staff was very kind and professional. If you are a non-smoker this is definitely a great hotel. If you intend on staying inside until after the mall closes it's even better!”

• Location of hotel hard to find and navigate. Movie channel reception was unacceptable.
