“This hotel has the best service of any hotel I have ever stayed at. I would highly recommend it to anyone who would be traveling to the Baton Rouge area. Most definitely enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Next summer when we plan our trip to Blue Bayou/Dixie Landing' we will be staying at this hotel again. I have absolutely no negative remarks about this hotel. All was wonderful.” Jul 17, 2008 by

“This hotel is great. The room layout is fantastic. The bedroom is spacious with a large separate bathroom area (that you can close off). Although this hotel is 2.5 stars, it beats most 3 star hotels I have stayed at.” Jun 24, 2008 by

“Normally a quiet hotel, however, there was a little league baseball team in for a game. They were so loud and their parents were just as bad! The hotel staff did try extremely hard to quiet everyone down and were very accommodating. The first room we went to had a broken fridge, and was right by the loud little leaguers and parents. The lady at the front desk happily moved us. The rooms were pretty outdated, the bedroom furniture and bedding looked like it was from the 80's. They were large rooms and were comfortable but outdated.” May 6, 2008 by

“I absolutely love this hotel. It reminds me of my grandmother's basement-it smells a little damp and a bit like fresh baked bread. It's full of Audubon prints, French-Quarter masonry and iron work, and Cajun/Creole hominess. It was away from the hustle and bustle, but within easy access of good restaurants and the casino. Mainly, I went here just to get away from my house and to grade an abundance of papers at the end of a rough semester. I found the solitude and quiet I had been seeking, plus a friendly/helpful staff, free internet access, printing, and a decent breakfast. But mostly I found a whirlpool tub to soak in to erase all my teacher woes. I will definitely will be visiting again!” Mar 20, 2008 by

“This motel was nice and clean but showing its age a bit. Hotel staff was friendly and competent. The central lobby was very nice and the breakfast provided was very good. The room, while shop worn, was large, nice and well appointed. I would stay there again given the opportunity.” Mar 2, 2005 by

“My husband and I visit family in Baton Rouge and now feel like we left with more family than we started with. The staff of this beautiful hotel could not have been any more wonderful. We stayed a week and everything about this hotel was amazing. From the beautiful Atrium to the cozy lounge to the well appointed suite. I was told that all of the rooms were suites. The suite was larger than some apartments. I will tell all my family and friends to stay here whenever they visit Baton Rouge.” 3 of 3 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
