• Old hotel, terrible, and moldy odor.

“This was suppose to be a 3 star hotel. It was more like a 1 star. As soon as you stepped off the elevator, the old, moldy smell hit you in the face! In the room, you could tell they had spent a lot of money to try to renovate a very old hotel, but it just wasn't working. The beds were very uncomfortable. The floor of the shower dirt on it and mold around the drain. It looked like this bathroom hadn't been cleaned in years. This hotel is located right next to Interstate 10 and believe me it was very noisy at night when trying to sleep. The walls were very thin, you could hear people in their room down the hall talking. I will not stay at this hotel again.”

• Check in was delayed past their stated time of 3 p.m.

“Hard to find the drive into this hotel. We got there at 2:15 pm and it was 3:20 before they could get us a room, despite them saying that 3 was their check-in time.”

• Bathroom design was neat.
• Smelled like fish when you walked in the front door.

• It was located close to LSU Stadium, where we dropped our daughter off for school.
• The way you had to access the hotel, going around the Laquinta hotel to get there.

“The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I would recommend it to anyone.”

• Awesome shower, comfy bed, top notch customer service.
• Parking lot was confusing to get into.

“Wife loved Bath & Body Works products in the bathroom. Very well done remodel. One of the better stays we have had.”

• Bed was great and room was nice.

“Overall the hotel was very comfortable. The front desk was very nice, helpful and professional. Additionally, the AC was very loud, which at times was very disturbing. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the hardwood floors. I will enjoy returning to this hotel.”

• The staff members were friendly and helpful.
• Although interesting, the decor was weird and a little bad 80's-ish.

“A nice clean hotel. Not exactly the place to go for a romantic getaway but the location is convenient and the staff members are helpful. The beds are a little squeaky but comfortable. The decor is interesting at best, and but mostly weird - it does give you something to talk about. I would recommend this hotel if your not a luxury traveler but appreciate a clean, comfortable place to stay.”

• Like the pool area it was very tropical waterfall and the seating area.
• The outside color was orange and yellow not easy to get to.

• Location was great and staff was helpful.
• Breakfast could have better choices.

“The inside of the hotel was very appealing and comfortable. The front desk staff was extremely helpful. Hotel was very convenient to LSU campus.”

• Very hip-modern room design, cool shower, faux hard-wood floor.
• AC came on very cold and loud, then cut off, so difficult to get comfortable sleeping temp.

“Upon arrival, the hotel seems more Vegas sleaze than Baton Rouge hospitality. However, the funky interior also features real amenities, like a quality fitness room and great appointments. Most importantly, the hotel had not yet completed renovations, so the restaurant, pool, and business center were not available.”

• The Lobby, the Bed, the FANTASTIC shower, the location, the great staff! And the decor.
• The hardwood floors need throw rugs at least by the bed.

“We loved our stay here! If I ever have to go back to Baton Rouge, I will stay at this hotel.”
