- The entry was appealing. Liked having free parking as a guest there.

- It is definitely one of the nicer hotels in Baton Rouge.
- Despite the marketing of the hotel, it isn't quite as flashy and fancy as billed.
“The hotel is nice, but I don't think it is quite a four-star. I would stay here again, especially considering how nice it is next to its competition. I would stay here again, but my expectations would be tempered.”

- I liked the staff downstairs.
- Low floor near street was kind of loud in the a.m.
“I really liked my stay here. The rooms were nice. Very comparable with a 3 star hotel. Location Downtown was walking distance to some interesting historical sites and connected to a casino. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and the atmosphere in the huge atrium was nice. What stood out most to me were the employees. Everyone went out of their way to say hello! And have a nice day! If you stay there use the valet's the parking kind of s and nobody works harder than those guys. In my 3 day stay there were a few valets that were working 16 hour days and they were still the nicest as can be. Upon checkout one of the guys came up and shook my hand and told me to have a nice trip and a merry Christmas. I dont know to me the people made the trip nice. The fresh fruit in the fitness center was a nice touch I feel too.”

- The valet parking was great. The employees were great.
- Food was terrible, the business center very poor and service sub par.
“Awful from top to bottom. The food was worst - overpriced and poor tasting. I could not operate my laptop to print out documents for a meeting because 1) the wireless did not work. 2) They did not have a cord to connect. The business center has 1 computer with a poor internet connection. I will never stay there again.”

- The bed.
- No cash accepted!
“It was not in than area good for business and new establishments such as college drive. Parking is difficult. Most hotels charge over the amount room regular rate but I guess they are usually educated somewhat! Then they told me I had to charge my credit card because they could not take cash for my amentias and all. What if I did not have funds on my credit card?”

- I liked the decor of lobby, atrium.
- Lack of response to disappointments.
“The coffee pot was broken and dirty. Dirty dishes were in my room upon check in. A loud metal sounding noise was heard constantly during my stay. Quality and size of room and especially bathroom was very disappointing. If my room was not already paid I would have immediately checked out the first day.”

“This hotel was beautiful in the pictures but was seriously lacking in customer service. The pool was great but the other patrons in the pool were not. Also, the parking is less than safe--for the cars and those leaving them and walking to the hotel. There is NO security!”

- The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They seemed sincerely eager to help with extras.
- I really have nothing negative to say.
“The hotel staff was very professional. When my wife and I arrived, we were greeted at our vehicle immediately and asked if we needed help with our luggage. We were also offered directions to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse after we told Reggie, the bellman, that we were going out to eat. When I told Reggie that I wanted to go up to my room to put the luggage there and come back down to go out, Reggie parked our vehicle nearby so that it would be readily available when we returned. The service that my wife and I received was nothing but outstanding. When I go on another trip to Baton Rouge, or any city, I will definitely stay at the Sheraton.”

- The bed was comfortable.
- The carpet was wet from the a/c. The door was unlocked when we arrived.
“I don't like this hotel. I have LOVED all other hotels that I have stayed in. But i just DON'T like this Sheraton in Baton Rouge. I found the location inconvenient and I don't like the way they run things.”

- The food was terrible. We arrived at 9pm with 4 hungry kids, expecting a buffet only to find it was not open until 10 like we were told.
“We had a non-smoking room, but the bed spreads were full of cigarette burns. That grossed me out. The food the two times we ate there, dinner and breakfast was not to my standards. I had to leave the table at dinner it was so bad.”
