• The location is on the river and we could dock our boat.
• It was noisy and people were talking and yelling at 2:30 in the morning.

“We have stayed at this hotel several times and will continue to stay there because it is the only one with docks on the river.”

• Location on the river.
• The desk clerk gave me wrong directions to my room and seemed distracted.

“The hotel was convenient for an evening and had great access for boats. The restaurant had a good menu; although, we did not eat there.”

• Rooms need updating.

“Excellent value for family stay. Water park wonderful. Waffle maker for breakfast big hit with kids. Rooms need updating. Beautiful location on the Mississippi river. We will stay here again.”

“We visited this hotel while enroute to a family reunion. We found it clean with friendly staff, and nice family amenities including pool. I would recommend this to others.”

• Excellent location on the river, excellent views.
• The common areas needed a good cleaning.

“The location is great; being on the river there was a great view from the patio area. The room was large and comfortable. The common areas needed a good cleaning overall. We were dismayed that the staff would not discuss a room upgrade, for which we were willing to pay extra. We were told the hotel was sold out which was obviously not true. We were placed in a pool side room, and there are a lot of small children in that area, so be prepared. For us older folks it was loud and louder.”

• It has a lounge and restaurant.
• I was on 2nd floor with no elevator as far from the from the desk as possible.

“It does not seen to qualify as a three star. It is a bit dingy and tired.”

• The staff was friendly and helpful.
• The hotel on the edge of La Crosse that has become less attractive.

“This hotel has a nice view of the Black River and is a relaxing area in the summer.”

• The pool area was great for the kids! And it's on the river!
• Uncomfortable beds, not enough towels at the pool.

“Once we got to the hotel, we asked for a room closer to the pool, but they said that online rooms were in a certain area. Our room faced a trailer park, the beds were lumpy and the tables and desk was dusty. There was not much water pressure in the shower either.”

• Nice pool and water area for younger kids.
• A little noisy-not bad.

“This was a nice, clean hotel with a pool, water basketball and waterslide. It also had a kiddy's pool with a water slide and little play area in the water. It had a good play area for the kids but, not like a water park you would spend a full day at. Wonderful for an extra little bonus for the kids to burn off some energy.”

• It was pretty clean and looked nice.
• The beds were very uncomfortable. Hard as a rock.

• It was very clean and convenient, and I would go back.
• The staff was not overly friendly.

“I would definitely go back to this hotel again, the room was very nice, and the amenities were all really good. The staff definitely lacked friendliness though. But I think that is a common problem in most places now days.”

• It had a decent family pool.
• Terrible service. No one was available at the front desk when I tried to complain about the noise at 12:30 am and again at 1:00 am.

“There were several loud parties around my room. The noise lasted well into the night. I tried to call the front desk twice, but no one answered. At 8:30 am house keeping knocked on the door despite the "do not disturb" sign on the door.”
