• Nothing.

“This was a nice clean hotel with friendly staff located near where I needed to go. There was plenty of parking spaces and the hotel appeared to be very safe. I enjoyed the pool area also.”

• Unusually attentive and friendly staff.
• Small room was crowded for two; shower was poor.

“Stayed here for the Festival International. Very friendly staff and clean, well-cared-for premises. Breakfast (not included in price) was very ordinary, but drive-to options are close by. A brand new Residence Inn has opened next door, and will offer a nicer and roomier option to this Courtyard.”

• Would have liked a choice of pillows. All were down and I prefer a firmer pillow.

• Staff was extremely friendly. Indoor pool a big plus!
• Location isn't very convenient for cities activities.

“Upon check in staff was very friendly and time conscious. Same for check out. Breakfast dining room was roomy and clean, with a large variety of food. Pool hours were great as was having an indoor pool.”

• A nice comfortable room with good amenities.
• No breakfast included. $9.95 for breakfast in restaurant.

“We were in 3 rooms, 6 adults and 4 children from 5 to 7. It would have been nice had we all been together however, we were treated very well and the kids loved the indoor pool and hot tub (grandpa loved the hot tub).”

• There was a musty smell in the room when we arrived.

“Great place for a traveler needing to get good quality sleep. We used it as a stopping point on a trip from Texas to Northern Florida and found it more than met our needs for comfort and convenience. Thanks for the good nights rest.”

• I like the optional full buffet breakfast.
• Pool area was too small for the amount of people in the hotel.

“Overall a nice hotel very convenient for business use. The only downfall would be if you are going to be there to enjoy the indoor pool, you should not expect to be able to relax it is a little crowded/small.”

• Small rooms, bathroom dirty, entire hotel smells like a pool.

“Common areas clean and well kept, indoor pool scents hotel up to the third floor. Beds and linens very comfortable, although not enough blankets available. Staff kink, but not outgoing or particularly helpful. No complimentary breakfast, but restaurants close by.”

• Although close to the airport it was far away from shopping areas.

“The rooms are extremely spacious. The bed linens are soft and refreshing after a long day. The staff was professional and courteous with no limitations or excuses. There was really no reason to leave the hotel grounds. It felt like home.”

• You have to go through a very run-down section of town to get to the hotel.

“Hotel itself is great. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Only negative was that you have to drive through a very run-down section of town to get to the hotel. Once you get there, the area it's in is ok.”

“The lobby staff and the housekeeping staff were wonderful people. The two ladies that met me at check in made me feel very welcomed and as though I was at home. I cannot write enough positives about my stay.”

• Had to go through some rough neighborhoods to get to hotel but actual location was good when you got there.

“Hotel was clean and rooms were comfortable. Staff was very friendly. It's located near the airport and driving from the interstates (located to the north of the hotel); you had to go through some rough neighborhoods. It was late at night when we were driving so that was concerning but the actual location of the hotel was not bad.”

• The easiness to check out.
• The plumbing was not the best in at least 3 of the rooms.

“This hotel was clean for the most part. The plumbing did not work and when they sent maintenance guy, he basically did not fix it and claimed that it worked great, only to later find that it did not work at all. When we moved (by our selves) to a new room the plumbing was barely working in this room.”

• Always children running, screaming in the halls at night!

“Every time Ive stayed at this property, there have been children running like animals down the halls, slamming doors, screaming and no one to put a stop to it. It's impossible to sleep when it sounds like they are throwing furniture against the bedroom walls. This is a consistent problem at this property.”

• The staff was very friendly and the rooms were spacious. The rooms were also very clean and the bed very comfortable.
• The indoor pool was not heated. The water was too cold to get in.

“This is the second time they have put me in a handicapped room even though I am obviously not handicapped. They have no control over children running rampant in the halls until all hours of the night. This is the second time this happened in this same hotel.”

“The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the free cookies. The pool area was a bit of a mess. When we arrived, there were wet towels all over the floor from the previous guests who had not cleaned up after themselves. Overall, though, it was a great place to stay for the money.”

• It was very convenient to our destination. & close to the airport.
• The window unit air conditioner was not efficient at all, almost musty.

“Over all the hotel seemed clean, but our room was not. There were facial makeup stains on the pillow cases on the bed. In the bathroom there was hair in the bathtub. The bathroom sink had very bad lighting & it tasted like there was bleach in the coffee pot. The air unit seemed very old & was musty. But for the price we paid, it wasn't a complete disaster!”

• Bed was very comfortable, nice pool and hot tub, clean, friendly staff, convenient.
• A map or locations to nearby restaurants would have been nice since this was not on the main drag.

“It was a little far from the main area but easy to find. The rooms were very nice. In fact, nicer than the 3 star hotel we stayed at in New Orleans. Hotel staff was very helpful, free internet, nice pool and hot tub although the pool was not very big, or very deep.”

“I actually traveled with my parents. The staff was very accommodating in arranging for us to have a first floor room for my mom's sake. The hotel was conveniently located to many other cities near Lafayette. It was easy to access main highways. I would definitely stay here again.”

• Spacious, comfortable and clean room.
• It was a long way off from the interstate.

“Nice clean hotel with a friendly staff. Room was spacious and very comfortable. It was not very conveniently located and the drive thru town to get to the hotel included an area that I would have been scared to stay. I was relieved the hotel ended up being far enough away from the run down area and I was not concerned for our safety at the hotel.”
