• I was surprised at the overall quality of the facility and hotel room. The location surroundings were pleasingly safe for out of town travelers.
• I was thoroughly satisfied.

“The sounds, smells, staff and overall atmosphere of the hotel was very good. I would recommend the hotel to friends and family. The room was neat and clean with a nice flat screen TV, microwave and refrigerator (the last two were a surprise).”

• Friendly staff.
• Uncomfortable bed sunk to the middle and breakfast cost us.

“Overall, the hotel was ok. Our bed was uncomfortable. The room was really small for a king bed and couch bed. The breakfast was good but their was only one staff member trying to feed a bunch of baseball and soccer kids and the food could not come out quick enough.”

• Very clean, staff very professional. Really enjoyed.

“I would greatly recommend this hotel. A typical Courtyard Marriott, but the staff made it an even better visit. This is a hotel that takes pride in their property, and I travel extensively, and this is not the norm. Very much a busy travel hotel, but very comfortable. A big pat on the back to the staff and management.”

• The staff members were very friendly and accommodating. The room I was given had a non-working TV and I was transferred to another room.
• I left for the morning and my room had been striped of the linens before I checked out for the day.

“The staff members were very friendly upon my arrival. the hotel was clean and feature a relax mode. The food was good. I did receive an extended stay of one hour because housekeeping had begun striping the bed prior to my check-out time, which happened after I left for a meeting and returned. I was given a accomplimentary breakfast for the inconvience. So overall is excellent and I would recommend this hotel again. The only thing I am not to keen on is the fact that one does not know where they're going until you have submitted your credit card information and you are locked into that one location, which may send me several miles from the my meeting site.”

• The hotel was dirty.

“The pool was cloudy and there was no where to put used towles! They just were thrown everywhere! Dirty pools of water was all around the indoor decking. The room was ok this hotel in in need of a remodel!”

• I loved the indoor pool and Jacuzzi hot tub.
• No option for a smoking room at Courtyard by Marriott.

“This Courtyard by Marriott is close to the Lafayette Airport and U.S. Highway 90, and only a few minutes from I-10 and Downtown Lafayette. Rooms were very clean and tastefully appointed. Staff was courteous and friendly. Bring your laptop! There is only one public computer in the business service center located off the lobby.”

“The hotel appears to be quite new. The rooms don't have that stink of formerly being a smoking room, the entire hotel was very clean, a breakfast buffet was offered, and even the TVs are nice LCD HDTVs.”

• Hotel/room was not well maintained/cleaned well.

“The hotel was remodeled 18-24 months ago but has not been well maintained. Rooms had dust and hallways often had small pieces of trash. Trash from functions on the grounds was not picked up for the weekend. The pool area was not routinely cleaned and towels and other items accumulated during the course of the day. The staff was not well trained and were indifferent when problems were brought to their attention.”

• The breakfast buffet was very good and worth the price.
• Our room was directly across from the elevator and we heard lots of noise as a result.

“We were placed right across from the elevator and happened to be staying at the hotel when there were many families with unsupervised children running the halls. Also our room was right above the swimming pool and we could hear the kids through the floor! The hotel itself was fine we just stayed on the wrong weekend.”

• The room was very clean and bed cozy and comfortable, the TV was beautiful and the employers were very friendly and helpful.
• There was not a thing about this hotel that I did not like.

• Small room was crowded for two; shower was poor.

“Stayed here for the Festival International. Very friendly staff and clean, well-cared-for premises. Breakfast (not included in price) was very ordinary, but drive-to options are close by. A brand new Residence Inn has opened next door, and will offer a nicer and roomier option to this Courtyard.”

• Location isn't very convenient for cities activities.

“Upon check in staff was very friendly and time conscious. Same for check out. Breakfast dining room was roomy and clean, with a large variety of food. Pool hours were great as was having an indoor pool.”

“We were in 3 rooms, 6 adults and 4 children from 5 to 7. It would have been nice had we all been together however, we were treated very well and the kids loved the indoor pool and hot tub (grandpa loved the hot tub).”
