• Amble parking, good location.
• No outside security cameras.

“South Side of City, near airport. Main motel center is North of City near Interstate 10. Quite location, clean rooms, excellent room service. Breakfast area clean, good food selection including waffles.”

• The staff was nice and helpful.
• The blanket under the comforter had a stain on it, and the bathroom counter was in bad shape.

“The location of the Hotel was not bad. It's easy to get to from the airport. It is out of the way from any attractions in town though. The first room smelled of smoke upon walking in. The second night they changed our room and I discovered a love stain on the blanket under the comforter. That was a bit disturbing.”

• Had a good continental breakfast.
• Chair torn & curtains coming off of the rod.

“The room and bathroom were clean, but needed a few improvements, such as new chairs and curtains fixed on rods.”

• Friendly, helpful staff.
• No refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms yet.

“The Ramada is in the process of being totally remodeled and updated. The room (newly remodeled) was large and clean. Refrigerators and microwaves have not yet been reinstalled. Unfortunately, the motel received a great deal of damage when it housed Katrina refugees, but the management is working to redo everything. Breakfast is more than just to ordinary continental. The staff is great and was very helpful. We plan to stay there again. It also has the best rates in town.”

• Convenient.
• A bit run down, and a little smelly.

“Good for sleep over. Need power plug where desk is located. Staff does not the area very well. But it is difficult to get good help in Lafayette.”

• very old! -bad hard beds- you could hear everything no sleep!

“This is my 5th booking with you ,and this is the only one I was unhappy with .this hotel should not ever be on your site! if this was my 1st time to use you, I would never use you again! but since I know I can normally depend on you to get me a good hotel, I will book again. but this is a very old hotel. no ice machines, I had to go to the lobby on the other side of the hotel in the middle of the night just for ice. It was a waste of my money! but I still like you, but now I am a little nervous to book. Thanks anyway Irene.”

• 12 check out time, low price.
• Carpet needed replacement, the whole thing looked old, not the cleanest.

• It was a dump and smelled like urine.

“Will tell everybody I know to stay away from it. Manger told me I would have gotten a better price if I would have called on the phone, so why do you list this hotel?”

• It had a great breakfast.
• It was run down a bit.

“For the money it was all that could be expected, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very good and unexpected, the hotel room was in need of some minor repair, okay for the business traveler but would not take my family there.”

• The location was great.
• It wasn't very clean, people hanging out outside.

“My wife didn't feel very safe with the people hanging out outside at all hours of the night. The hotel, overall, was a bit run-down. I know Ramada typically has a good name but this one should probably be a 1 star.”
