“Hotel was fine for that area of the country.” Aug 26, 2007 by
Scott from Maylene, AL
“Overall, the hotel was nice. It was clean and kept up. The continental breakfast was nice too! However, I found a large cockroach in my "bed"! I brought it down to show the front desk clerk and all she said was I'm sorry. No offer for any compensation at all. That did steam me up a bit.” Aug 16, 2007 by
Camille from Seabrook, TX
“I found the person who checked me in to be totally unhelpful. I was sure that I had requested a room with two double beds. When I checked in, I was assigned a room with one king size bed. In addition to the surly clerk, the bed linens were inferior, as were the towels.” Aug 12, 2007 by
Carmel from Fair Oaks Ranch, TX
“The lady who was assisting with breakfast was one of the nicest people we met on our entire trip.” May 30, 2007 by

“Good, hotel manager very nice! Employers nice and helpful.” Mar 21, 2007 by
Wyvone from Houston, TX
“Check in was ok (friendly staff)-I called the front desk and asked that my linens be changed on my second night stay-it was not done. Also, the bottom on the toilet was very soiled with urine and hair. I would not recommend this hotel.” Mar 20, 2007 by
Paul from Lago Vista, TX
“This is a nice hotel for travelers wanting to spend one night on the road.” Mar 18, 2007 by
Pete from The Colony, Texas
“Wow, where do we begin? The hotel is extremely filthy. We found a pair of thong panties in our room. The staff was extremely unhelpful. We had to ask for an extra blanket five times before finally helping ourselves. We asked numerous times for a roll-a-way bed, only to be blown off each and every time. The night clerk, Nicole, could only be kind with the script she was given to repeat for each customer. She was so illiterate that she would mess up the script and would start all over again! The hotel backs up to the ghetto, as mentioned by another guest. You'll see gang-bangers standing in the streets drinking their 40's and Iżm sure I saw handguns at one point. Very bad location for a hotel! My recommendation? Pass by exit 103a and find something else!” Dec 8, 2006 by
Lisa from Needville, TX
“The hotel was new and clean. The staff was very friendly. The location is great for business, but not in a great part of town.” Aug 24, 2006 by
Rc from Chauvin, LA
“This hotel is situated in a very bad neighborhood Young teenagers from the neighborhood can be found wondering the back parking area. There is no security of the area provided. While their some teenager from the neighborhood shattered our car window just for the fun of it.” Aug 3, 2006 by

“The hotel was nice. Great for traveler who don't want scary!!!” Aug 3, 2006 by
Kat from Little Rock, AR
“We were very pleased with our stay at the Fairfield Inn Lafayette. The beds were very comfortable -- each with four pillows! The room was spotless. The bathroom was especially clean. On arrival, the attendant at the desk had me checked in and ready to go in less than two minutes. There's a small indoor pool and Jacuzzi -- if I'd realized that, I would have brought my suit. Breakfast was great, with egg-cheese-and-bacon biscuits, chocolate milk, oatmeal, grits, hard boiled eggs, coffee, apple and orange juice, yogurt, lots of fresh fruit, fresh Danishes, bagels, toast, and condiments -- thought the Belgian waffle maker was broken. The staff even checked in on us in the afternoon to make sure our room had been made correctly and that we had enough towels. We were extremely pleased.” Jul 14, 2006 by
Troy from Austin, TX
“Nice morning breakfast offered free of charge.” Jul 8, 2006 by
Janet from Houston, TX
“The only good thing about this hotel was the beds. They were obviously new, and comfortable. However, this place needs a major renovation. The rooms were very damp and musty. The bathroom door wouldn't shut. We had to go to the desk to get soap and towels. The pool and exercise room need major work. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.” Jun 3, 2006 by
Tom from Georgetown, TX
“Good hotel at a reasonable price.” Feb 22, 2006 by
Mary from Gramercy, LA
“The food was good, the room was clean. It was a little noisy at night and we had to go downstairs and get our towels. The staff at the front desk were very friendly.” Feb 11, 2005 by
John from Mapleton, IL
“This hotel was acceptable and I would stay there again.”
