• Newer, clean, Okay location, pet friendly, great pool area, very friendly staff, cont. breakfast, reasonably priced.
• You could hear a lot of hallway traffic in the room.

“Nice hotel for families and pets. quite location that is easy to find. Staff is friendly and helpful. Nice Pool area with a sauna and hot tub. I will stay here instead of the Bridge view from now on.”

• It was clean.
• There was a fire on the night we stayed there.

“Other than the fire (which we are supposed to get a refund back in the mail) it was an excellent stay. We live with two other people so to get out of the house for the night was a nice change and Barkers was very nice about it. When we got there we were told we were upgraded to a pool view for free. I checked out a few other hotels in the area and had seen enough horror stories in their reviews. Barkers were nothing like that. It was very clean and very friendly staff. I just wish we could have stayed longer and could have visited the restaurant.”

• Clean, price, location.
• Had to wait at the front desk to check out because no one was at the desk. Another man was also waiting.

“This was a choice because I needed to be in the area for a funeral so the location, clean beds and bath were a welcome at the end of a long day.”

• The price was the main reason we stayed here.
• Unfriendly person at front desk when we arrived.

“The accommodations were fine, the pool and hot tub were fine and the continental breakfast was a little weak. It is located right next to a trailer park so the view was not something you would enjoy. The name Bay Walk doesn't fit; it is an awfully long walk to any bay.”

• Easy find and easy off the highway.
• Lots of traffic noise, close to the bridge that echoed.

• Clean, nice pool, nice breakfast.
• They didn't want to honor the price that was booked.

“We asked for a cot 3 times before we got one 6 hrs later. We had been traveling since 1 am and we were ready for bed about 8 pm and it was 9:30 pm when I called the third time, after my daughter slept on the floor for an hour and a half, they finally brought it.”

• Good location.
• Not very clean room for the price.

“If you like other people's pubic hairs on the floor of bathroom and in tub, this is the place for you! Carpets badly in need of shampooing and whole hotel smelled of cigarette smoke.”

• Very friendly staff.
• Pool was too cold.

• There was a pool, sauna and whirlpool. There was a good continental breakfast.
• There is a trailer park right next door. I think they should put up a fence behind the hotel so it does not show.

“I thought it was a good value. Especially if you are with kids. There was also a refrigerator and microwave in our room. I do think it is misleading to name your hotel Bay Walk Inn when you cannot see the bay from there and there is no bay walk. Vacuum the lobby stairs.”

• Clean, friendly, helpful staff.
• No elevator, regular pool water was very cold.

“The hotel experience was great, especially the continental breakfast was better than expected and better than most hotels. 2 problems with hotel: water temp in regular big pool was way too cold to swim in with young children. (hot tub was nice and hot).....there was no elevator, which should be stated in the Internet info, even though it is only 2 stories, it was difficult carrying two young children up the stairs, plus a large cooler, and luggage. The overall stay here was nice, and the location was not right next to all the craziness of city life, but close enough to get anything you would need. The only thing that would keep me from going back would be the elevator. That is a main thing.”
