• Good location.
• Rooms are dirty and they don't allow cats.

“I stopped because it was pet friendly. I check in and went to my room. It was filthy. I asked for a nonsmoking room but it smelled like an ash tray. About ten minutes later the front desk call and the lady forgot that they allow pet but not cats. Like my cat could make this place any worse! I had to check out. Stay at the Holiday Inn across the parking lot. Very nice!”

• I love the people and the room was clean.
• They were not friendly at the front desk when we check or out.

• The hotel was dirty and smelled bad.

“Within 15 minutes of arriving we had returned the key and left. Although we had arrived after 6 pm, the room was gross! The hotel lobby was also dirty. Cigarette butts and trash all over the ground and planters right outside the lobby doors. The place did not smell good and it was like someone had used too much air freshener to cover it up. The furnishing were old, dated, in bad repair and dirty looking. I did not feel this was a place I would feel safe sleeping in.”

• Convenient location with friendly staff and free internet was a bonus.
• Housekeeping could not speak or understand English well at all, this was a problem.

“Everything you might need is provided and even though there was a language barrier with house keeping everyone was kind and polite. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others and probably stay there again. You will enjoy the indoor heated pool!”

• It was fairly close to my destination.
• The appliances didn't work, and the hotel staff was not very accommodating.

• Easy access from I-40 near VA center, priced right, wife liked the food.
• Had no hot tub.

“The place is fine. I found no problems. The place has had a lot of upgrades. Its not perfect, but very ok.”

• Comfortable bed, nice club, handy to local area hospital.
• Not enough people on desk at check in.

“I dont live but 120 miles from IR and dont get off the farm much. No problems here now. Place has a lot of renovation completed according to discussion with maintenance guy. Friendly staff too. I came to the VA hospital nearby. A nice king for me and wife. Room came with 2 free "American kitchen breakfasts" heated pool is great. Nice club too.”

• This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, It was worse than a "dump".

• Nice indoor pool.
• Curtains over windows worn out, shower curtain had mold, one of the lamps and clock did not work.

“staff very friendly but room should have been lower price... room was clean, so it was ok for a one night stay. very worn looking though. Really need to purchase new curtains for windows and shower curtain over tub. I was charged me for two rooms instead of one. I am waiting to be reimbursed.”

• I liked that they provided transportation to and from airport.

“There was a constant leak in the bathtub along with mildew and rust stains. All kinds of questionable spots on the walls of our room and spider nests in the curtains. Metal parts of all furniture were corroded. Hard lumps under carpet between two beds. Graffiti and cuss words in various locations in the room. Very thin walls as well. Restaurant and bar was permanently shut down. Workout facility was pathetic. I had to call to front desk to get towels in room two of the three nights we were there. Front desk would not answer the phone on one occasion. Staff did not seem to know anything about the area. This, without question, was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.”
