• Excellent location, .excellent restaurants..shuttle service.
• There was nothing we didn't enjoy at the hotel.

“They are located in a perfect spot...they had shuttle service to the concert we were attending...you can easily walk there if you prefer...also just about anywhere else..also. next to the ballpark...”

• The restaurant was okay.
• It was dirty and in a very bad part of town.

“I would never stay there again for myself or anyone else. It was in a bad neighborhood with thugs walking the streets. I called ahead and asked for a river view room which they said they gave me. Its on Riverview Drive. They failed to tell me it had no river view from anywhere on the premises. What they gave me was a view of the parking lot and Riverview Drive. It was a nasty, dirty hotel with poor room directions and poor parking. I will say that the staff was as accommodating as circumstances will allow.”

• We were up-graded to a hot tub suite. Very nice.
• I enjoyed the entire experience.

“This hotel is convenient to downtown Little Rock and North Little Rock. The trolley stop is convenient and really enriches the atmosphere of the area. The hotel is large and attractive with two restaurants, one of which we ate in, a Benihana, which we did enjoy and a steakhouse which we didn't try, but, have heard great things about. Excellent place for business or leisure travel, family or couple. I recommend it very highly.”

• The people were nice!
• The rest of the hotel! Construction going on, just not a real nice side of town. There were people begging outside in the parking lot etc.

“Nice people at the Wyndham Riverfront Little Rock. It was a 3 star resort, not quite. 2 stars would be pushing it. I wouldn't send any one to stay there. Avoid Wyndham Riverfront Little Rock. Glad it was only for one night!”

“The location of this hotel was excellent - close to the beautiful river! We rode the trolley across the river, around historic downtown and back to the hotel! It was fun and educational! The hotel personnel were friendly and efficient. The room was very comfortable. This was our last stop on our vacation and it was a memorable one!”

“The place seems high end but the room was pathetic. On first floor, had a sliding door with a view of a wall 6 feet away! Water had come in somehow before we got there and carpet by door was soaked. In the morning, housekeeping staff was really loud. Do they realize they work in a hotel and some courtesy at 7AM might be a good idea? I love PL but some hotels obviously give us their worst rooms.”

• The Bartender was very unfriendly and rude.

“Wonderful hotel and great location. I have stayed here once before and we love the rooms and the hotel. We had a problem with the lady bartender Sunday night because she did not want to wait on customers because she wanted to get off work. She was very rude but the hotel and everyone else was great.”

• The only nice thing about this hotel was the front desk staff.
• I did not like the rooms, the housekeeping staff, the quality of the hotel in general. I am very disappointed in this 3 star hotel.

“I am very disappointed with the Wyndham. It was not a 3 star hotel by any means. The rooms have obviously not been redone/updated/recoated since the 70's. Everything was dingy and dirty. Our nonsmoking room reeked of cigarette smoke. A housekeeper busted into our room un-announced at 8 in the morning. The hairdryer did not work. It was mid-May and the pool was drained and closed for season. One of our rooms was not even clean/ready by the 3 p.m. check in time, and we had to wait on housekeeping to finish cleaning it. The ceilings in the bathrooms were only about 6 feet tall (if that). It was a horrible hotel experience. I had family coming to town for my graduation and I was totally humiliated that they had to stay in this sham. When paying for a 3 star hotel , you expect a certain level of quality. I've stayed at roadside inns that were nicer than this hotel. Never again will I stay at this hotel. Very disappointed!”

• Breakfast staff was friendly and prompt.
• Horrible area. I did not complete my stay, too unsafe. Paid double to be else where.

“This hotel is located in a very unsavory area. The property is new & nice, but there are homeless and panhandlers everywhere outside. Parking lot is not well lit, vagrants approach silently and are in your car without warning. Not safe for solo female travelers!”

• Nice bed, restaurant, movies on demand.
• Noisy! Non working Minibar, No conjoining rooms, No indoor pool.

“This is technically a motel. Its two stories, and the rooms open up to the outside with a sliding glass door. The building is old and needs updating. The room is nothing special. And it was so noisy! It was mostly outdoor noise, because as I said- the rooms open up to the outside. The fully stocked fridge was non functional, so I had to walk all over to find vending machines- and they were NOT close to our rooms.”

• It's a little hard to find because of the way the roads are laid out.

• The room was clean.
• I had a problem with the noise in the hotel.

“Around 1:00 a.m., someone came knocking on my door. I got up and it was some drunken guy who had the wrong room. I looked outside of the room and it was a girl there crying. I tried calling the front desk several times, but there wasn't an answer. About thirty minutes later, after I had gone back to sleep, this guy came back to my door knocking. I tried calling the front desk again but there wasn't an answer. I ended up not going back to sleep for a while. My night was ruined. I can't believe that no one was there to answer the phone who could have taken care of this problem.”

• Good Location and pretty good restaurant. Has two choices for food a steak place and a Benihanna's.
• The air conditioner in the room was so loud it would wake me up.

• The room was decorated attractively.
• The walls are extremely thin. My bathtub had water standing in it when I arrived.

“My room was attractively decorated but the bathtub did not appear very clean and I finally had to give up and change the channel to whatever my neighbor was watching on ABC because that's all that I could hear. I also had an issue with regulating my room temperature it was below freezing last night and I finally gave up and turned on my air conditioner so that I could sleep without sweating.”

• I liked the cleanliness and location as well as its easy access.
• The sliding glass doors that allowed for direct outside access were poorly secured.

“The hotel was clean, seemed well kept and had a friendly (however not completely knowledgeable) staff. This may be because it was thanksgiving night. The location was perfect! The rooms were nice. Beds had clean, crisp, comfortable sheets/pillows, but the mattresses themselves were mediocre. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay there again.”

“Even though this is a former Hilton, I felt like this hotel did not match other Hiltons/Wyndhams that I have visited in the past. The lobby felt much like a motel. Other Wyndhams have more updated fronts and decorations. This did not deserve 3-star. It is not in the same class as Embassy Suites. More importantly, it was not in little Rock. I specifically remember requesting little rock. It was not convenient.”

• Location was across bridge from Downtown.

“The Wyndham Little Rock is an enormous conference hotel with a business center, Benihana restaurant, and great rooms. It's not overly fancy but the small details were great, such as the shampoo and soap, and especially the clean fluffy bedding. Wireless access was free too. Overall great experience.”

• Outside not appealing. It was set up like a motel instead of a hotel.

“This hotel did not meet my expectations for a 3 star Wyndham! It looked more like a 2 star La quinta, comfort inn, etc. You could enter your room on the sides and back of this hotel which is something you don't see usually with a 3 star hotel. The lobby was pretty nice and the rooms were very nice but I didn't feel as secure because of the side entrances. You didn't even need a key card to get in through the side entrances.”

“I missed my flight and needed a hotel for the night. Hotel had a pool which I was looking forward to since it was 90 degrees outside. Upon check-in at 4 p.m. I asked what time the pool was open until and was told 10 p.m. I put on my suit, walked to the pool only to find it was "closed for the season". Front desk was unaware. Honest mistake. But it was still 90 degrees outside. Go figure. The bugs were apparently hot too because they were crawling all over the inside of my room and in the hallways. The a/c worked but I don't like bugs in my room.”

• The beds were very comfortable and everything about the hotel was fantastic.
• There were a few "drunken" people in the hallway meeting area and loud, probably drunk people down the hall.

“I would highly recommend the Wyndham riverfront to anyone. It is located in downtown, easy to locate and in a very safe, clean area. The staff, rooms and hotel atmosphere are excellent. Room service was very reasonable and excellent quality.”

• The rooms were very spacious and clean.
• Couldn't see the "river" from the hotel.

“The name of this hotel is slightly misleading. It's called "riverfront" but the hotel is not a high-rise building where you can actually view the river. Overall, the hotel was clean and our room was large. The beds were very comfortable.”

• I liked the easy access to and from the hotel room and parking lots.
• The food was horrible. I made 3 polite complaints and was never offered an apology or comp for the $11.00 horrid breakfast.

“I felt the staff fell short on customer service. Not one staff member smiled or greeted me in a friendly manner. At one point one of the front desk employees yelled into the phone and slammed it down. I ordered breakfast which came with a cup for my hot tea that was dirty with dried bits of egg and cheese. The worst part was the biscuits and gravy. The gravy tasted like salt water. I received a courtesy call about 15 minutes after receiving the breakfast and I explained to the young woman that they should not serve the gravy and also explained the dirty cup. She said okay. I mentioned this to the front desk staff when I checked out and again received a similar response. This is apparently supposed to be a 3 1/2 star hotel and it didn't appear to be even a 3. I would not stay in this hotel again.”

• The staff was, by far, the most friendly, and helpful.
• The rooms were made up nice, but on the old side with brick walls, and low ceilings. Dark lighting in the bathrooms.
