Greg from Cape Coral, FL
“Nice staff, decent location, nice view, free parking with validation, free internet service, but construction was a bit of a hassle and made for long elevator waits.” May 28, 2008 by
Andrew from San Francisco, CA
“Great location, but the rooms were not up to par for a typical Double tree.” May 26, 2008 by
Lindsay from Asheville, NC
“Hotel was in a great location and is going to look spectacular after the renovation; however it was noisy, and smelled like polyurethane from th reconstruction. Also, pool was closed due to construction. Overall I would recommend currently, and highly recommend post construction.” May 5, 2008 by
Pamela from Prescott, AZ
“Although the hotel is undergoing renovations, the current condition of my room was dreadful! The key card lock on my door was not properly installed and very hard to operate, there were numerous carpet stains and burn holes, I called room service 4 times between the hours of 8 pm to 9 pm and never got an answer and finally one of the elevators was not operating and I waited up to 5 minutes! This is definitely not what I expect from a Doubletree property!” Apr 29, 2008 by
Mike from Texarkana, AR
“Hotel is showing age. It is undergoing renovation of the top three floors. I hope they will continue down the building.” Apr 24, 2008 by
Alice from College Point, NY
“The view was breath taken. The bed was more comfortable then I thought in all the hotels that I stayed in. The pool was not open and I even call beforehand to make sure that it is, so I brought my bathing suit. However, that did not come handy. The only problem is there's not much restaurants around there, mainly bars. So you have to drive or wait at least 2 hrs to get something to eat in the diners.” Apr 23, 2008 by
Denise from Cordova, TN
“A nice clean hotel with an excellent location and good room service.” Apr 17, 2008 by
Elaine from Fort Worth, TX
“Not a place to go to until it is totally remodeled!” Mar 30, 2008 by
Lisa from Brentwood, TN
“I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the hotel. The hallways needed to be vacuumed. The room needed to be renovated, peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. I believe they are about to begin renovations. Not what I expected from a Doubletree - though for what I paid it was a bargain. On the river - great location. Was able to walk 6 miles on the river trail and easy access to bridge to cross the river.” Mar 30, 2008 by
Sally from Shawnee, KS
“Nice very clean and central location.” Mar 24, 2008 by
Jennifer from Ogden, AR
“I would strongly recommend any one to not only go to this wonderful hotel. The beds are dreamy, the service is at the top, and the food is to die for.” Mar 20, 2008 by
Andrea from Bossier City, LA
“Our overall experience with this hotel was wonderful. Great staff! Very friendly and accommodating. The room and overall hotel areas were clean and nicely managed. The hotel restaurant was reasonably priced with great food. I would highly recommend this hotel!” Mar 6, 2008 by
Kerry from Walworth, WY
“Poor staff, poor communication, rude, awful to deal with. Not at all pleasant, the worst part of my stay in Little Rock bar NONE.” Mar 2, 2008 by
Andy from Baton Rouge, LA
“I would stay here again because of the location, they will stick you with their worst rooms. Set your expectations very low and they might be met.” Feb 4, 2008 by
Sandy from Oklahoma City, OK
“This will be a great hotel. The location is wonderful and the views of the river are spectacular. The Doubletree hotels usually have more staff. There was no valet and their signature chocolate chip cookies were handed to us as we checked in instead of delivered to the room. The rooms are a great size and if updated, will be very nice.” Oct 16, 2007 by
Bonnie from West Memphis, AR
“The doubletree satisfied most of my expectations with the exception of giving better details on where one might walk to a nearby restaurant after 10 pm on a Friday night. A list of restaurants within an 8 block area was provided at the front desk; however, without a map, it was not much good. Room service was available after 10 p.m., and was excellent.” Sep 14, 2007 by
Zayra from Los Angeles, CA
“I was at the Wyndham Hotel the night before and wished I had stayed there when I arrived at the Doubletree. The entire experience was not very comfortable. The hotel needs a major facelift in the lobby and restaurant areas and also in the rooms. The location is great however.”
