“We left a library book in our room and realized it 2 hours down the road. We called them, they sent someone to the room, and are holding it until we go back through the area in a week. I appreciate that level of service. Very nice people.”

  • The room and view of the river
  • Restaurant was filthy; milk was sour; fruit looked/tasted awful.

“The restaurant's breakfast buffet was a huge disappointment. The milk was sour. There were fruit flies. The fruit looked terrible. Hot food was averagely prepared. However, I would return because of the location and the quality of the REST of the hotel. I would not venture back into the restaurant next time.”

“The hotel does not well accommodate customers. Other hotels have allowed us to request a King size room, but this hotel did not grant such requests. We have stayed at the hotel twice now and upon checkin, the staff at the front

  • Clean and easy to navigate.
  • Very rude service staff!

“Upon arrival they had the air conditioner set to 53 degrees! Way to cold, and even more so because I had my 4 month old daughter with me. Next, the hotel staff, (mainly the front desk help) were extremely rude. I thought of talking with the manager which is not something I generally do but if all of the desk staff treat the customers like that I can only assume that the manager is no better. Overall, the hotel was clean and easy to navigate but if you are staying here for an efficient, friendly service staff, stay elsewhere.”

  • View of river was fantastic.
  • Very slow elevators. Very small room.

“All in all, our stay at this hotel was OK. Not a bad experience, but not a great one either. Check in was very quick and easy. Same with check-out. Probably my biggest complaint is that the room was very small. There wasn't even a table to eat at. We didn't want to order room service because one of us would have had to eat at the (small) desk, and one of us would have had to eat on the bed. My other main complaint is the elevators. They were so slow. When we were checking out and were loaded down with all of our bags and stuff, we waited for at least 15 minutes (on the 7th floor) and the elevators opened twice for us, but both times they were crammed with teenagers, and I do mean crammed. So we ended up finally taking the stairs to the parking garage, which is 8 flights. Not very fun when you're loaded down with luggage. On a positive note, the view from our room was really nice. I especially enjoyed it at night, looking out on the river, and all of the lights of North Little Rock.”

  • Staff, common areas, rooms, and cleanliness.
  • Room was near the elevator and got no sleep due to loud guests and elevator doors.

“If you go there stay away from the elevators because the elevator bells and doors are loud. Other hotel guests were loud and obviously had been drinking. We got no sleep until after 3:00 am.”

  • The view of the river was spectacular!

“This hotel had just been renovated and it was really nice on the inside - still looked a bit old and faded on the outside - but the inside is spectacular. They gave us a room on the 13th floor with a view of the river and it was gorgeous. Rooms are small - bed was only a queen - but space was very well utilized. We ate at the hotel several times and food was very good and reasonable.”

  • Room services were poor, no towels, no working vending and ice machine on several floors and no iron.

“The facility was flooded because of the storm, the maid did not restock the towels, no iron and on three floors up and two floors down the ice and vending machines did not work. I was very disappointed in the Doubletree and the Hilton facility in downtown.”

  • I liked the balcony out the door, I also liked the restaurant and the meals.
  • I didn't like the way the parking garage was set up. Can be a little bit confusing.

  • Wonderful view of the Arkansas River.
  • The queen size bed was smaller than we are used to getting.

The hotel overlooks the Arkansas River, and is a short walk from attractions such as the Farmers' Market, the riverfront park, the Clinton presidential library, and the old state house. It's attractively appointed, and offers good parking. We enjoyed very much our stay at this hotel.”

  • Had food and a bar and free wireless internet in the room.
  • Hotel is still under construction but it didn't affect us much.

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Double Tree in Little Rock. It was easy to get too and close to a lot of downtown locations. The parking was easy and free. The rooms were clean, nice and quiet. They provide wireless internet in the rooms and have a business center (even though we didn't use the center). They do have an exercise room which is great and good food and a bar that is open for late arrival. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was under construction but we didn't experience any noise or problems related to it. I would definitely stay here again.”

  • Great location. Very friendly staff. Free cookies at check-in!

“The hotel is going through extensive renovations. It appeared as if they were about 80-90% done. One elevator (out of three) had its interior walls/ceiling ripped out leaving you with a somewhat paranoid feeling about how it might operate. Also, the job site outside was quite messy. Other than that, the hotel was great and it will be even better once their renovations are completed and cleaned up.”

  • The staff was very friendly, accommodating and the bed very comfortable.
  • We did not like the food in the hotel restaurant. The kids entree was way too hot and the fruit was terrible.

  • The room was very nice!
  • The hotel was under construction. Elevators were in horrible condition and only two were in operation. Garbage was overflowing out of the trash cans.

“I would not stay here again. It took us 15 minutes to get on one of the two elevators that were working. When we did get on, the door jammed and someone had to manually push it closed (I was afraid that I'd be trapped). Then one of the passengers mentioned that his daughter got trapped in the elevator the previous day. Overall, this hotel was in a dilapidated condition (except for the room). I wouldn't stay here again.”

  • Under renovation. A/C was broken.

“Perhaps when the renovation is complete I would consider returning. I arrived at 10:00 pm. I was told there was not a King or two bed non smoking room available. My choice was a king room with a broken TV or a Queen room (smaller) I chose the queen room. The A/C was broken. They replaced the unit by 11:15 pm. It worked but poorly. It was 95 degrees and very humid during my stay. The entire time it was cooler in the hall way so much of the time I had my door partially open. I considered ordering a roll away and sleeping in the hall way. It was miserable.”

  • The staff was nice, but didn't go out of their way.
  • They were remodeling and construction workers were extremely loud.

“The hotel has potential. It certainly was not an upscale place. Our room was extremely loud during the day because of the construction. We literally had to yell at times when we talked. It was just like your competitor's commercial. The second day, the toilette directly above our room overflowed and leaked through our bathroom ceiling. Water was everywhere, I threw away my toothbrush and razor. Who knows if that water was clean or not. The staff was nice and changed our room without any trouble, but it was such a hassle. I would not want to stay there again.”

  • Currently under construction-was very noisy.

  • Very poor service and room was budget hotel quality.

“Although the hotel is undergoing renovations, the current condition of my room was dreadful! The key card lock on my door was not properly installed and very hard to operate, there were numerous carpet stains and burn holes, I called room service 4 times between the hours of 8 pm to 9 pm and never got an answer and finally one of the elevators was not operating and I waited up to 5 minutes! This is definitely not what I expect from a Doubletree property!”

  • Marvelous view and comfortable bed.
  • The pool was not open although I ask before hand.

“The view was breath taken. The bed was more comfortable then I thought in all the hotels that I stayed in. The pool was not open and I even call beforehand to make sure that it is, so I brought my bathing suit. However, that did not come handy. The only problem is there's not much restaurants around there, mainly bars. So you have to drive or wait at least 2 hrs to get something to eat in the diners.”

  • Location was great, Downtown on the river.
  • They are about to begin much needed renovations.

“I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the hotel. The hallways needed to be vacuumed. The room needed to be renovated, peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. I believe they are about to begin renovations. Not what I expected from a Doubletree - though for what I paid it was a bargain. On the river - great location. Was able to walk 6 miles on the river trail and easy access to bridge to cross the river.”
