  • Room and view were fine.
  • Lots of construction going on.

“Nice staff, decent location, nice view, free parking with validation, free internet service, but construction was a bit of a hassle and made for long elevator waits.”

  • Fresh cookies upon checking in to the hotel.
  • Currently under construction-was very noisy.

“Hotel was in a great location and is going to look spectacular after the renovation; however it was noisy, and smelled like polyurethane from th reconstruction. Also, pool was closed due to construction. Overall I would recommend currently, and highly recommend post construction.”

  • Very poor service and room was budget hotel quality.

“Although the hotel is undergoing renovations, the current condition of my room was dreadful! The key card lock on my door was not properly installed and very hard to operate, there were numerous carpet stains and burn holes, I called room service 4 times between the hours of 8 pm to 9 pm and never got an answer and finally one of the elevators was not operating and I waited up to 5 minutes! This is definitely not what I expect from a Doubletree property!”

  • Marvelous view and comfortable bed.
  • The pool was not open although I ask before hand.

“The view was breath taken. The bed was more comfortable then I thought in all the hotels that I stayed in. The pool was not open and I even call beforehand to make sure that it is, so I brought my bathing suit. However, that did not come handy. The only problem is there's not much restaurants around there, mainly bars. So you have to drive or wait at least 2 hrs to get something to eat in the diners.”

  • Location was great, Downtown on the river.
  • They are about to begin much needed renovations.

“I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the hotel. The hallways needed to be vacuumed. The room needed to be renovated, peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. I believe they are about to begin renovations. Not what I expected from a Doubletree - though for what I paid it was a bargain. On the river - great location. Was able to walk 6 miles on the river trail and easy access to bridge to cross the river.”

  • The service, we had was wonderful. They guided and directed everything. Any question we had (i.e. restaurants) was always answered in such a pleasant.
  • The TV channels could have been better, but it was also not that bad.

“I would strongly recommend any one to not only go to this wonderful hotel. The beds are dreamy, the service is at the top, and the food is to die for.”

  • The staff at this hotel was Wonderful! Very friendly and welcoming!
  • Elevators.

“Our overall experience with this hotel was wonderful. Great staff! Very friendly and accommodating. The room and overall hotel areas were clean and nicely managed. The hotel restaurant was reasonably priced with great food. I would highly recommend this hotel!”

  • Leaving.
  • Rude staff, obnoxious under staffed, not helpful. Not pleasant, persons on check in desk extremely rude and condescending. Will not return.

“Poor staff, poor communication, rude, awful to deal with. Not at all pleasant, the worst part of my stay in Little Rock bar NONE.”

  • Rooms spacious, views and location were perfect!
  • Updating is badly needed and according to signage, renovations for rooms and public areas are to start soon.

“This will be a great hotel. The location is wonderful and the views of the river are spectacular. The Doubletree hotels usually have more staff. There was no valet and their signature chocolate chip cookies were handed to us as we checked in instead of delivered to the room. The rooms are a great size and if updated, will be very nice.”

  • Location next to our concert venue was perfect!
  • A 4 inch piece of bed frame stuck out and I banged my shin on it. I told the desk clerk at checkout.

“The doubletree satisfied most of my expectations with the exception of giving better details on where one might walk to a nearby restaurant after 10 pm on a Friday night. A list of restaurants within an 8 block area was provided at the front desk; however, without a map, it was not much good. Room service was available after 10 p.m., and was excellent.”

“I was at the Wyndham Hotel the night before and wished I had stayed there when I arrived at the Doubletree. The entire experience was not very comfortable. The hotel needs a major facelift in the lobby and restaurant areas and also in the rooms. The location is great however.”
