• It was easy to find.
• No sheets on the second bed, rude staff, had to make bed for the children even though called ahead.

“Staff was rude and unhelpful. Halls were dirty and food was in laundry room. Parking was not convenient. Not the best hotel on our trip.”

• Room was wonderful very spacious and very clean.
• Breakfast was not a good experience. Out of many food items.

“Hotel room was very nice certainly above average. Staff was very nice and helpful. Only bad experience was the breakfast. Out of most all items trash cans were overflowing tables were dirty and sticky from food that had not been cleaned up.”

“Only main complaint is that we were told the complementary breakfast was from 7:00 am to 10: am during the weekends. However, when we went at 9:30 am to eat, there was no food at all.”

• The Studio room was very clean, spacious and served my needs.
• Nothing that I can think of.

• The room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was good when they finally got it out our last day.
• Breakfast was not ready at all the first morning. I didn't even have muffins out.

“We checked in and asked when breakfast would be ready in the lobby. They said 7. We had a tennis match at 8 so that was cutting it close, but we worked out schedule to accommodate theirs. We got there at 7 and nothing was out. There were three people behind the desk with no one checking in or out at that time. They said that the breakfast is complimentary, but not guaranteed or included in the price. If it was included in the price, we would say that, but because it isn't, we don't have to serve you breakfast. News to me - everyone should be aware that Marriott will serve breakfast when they feel like it, but should not be expected at time posted or anytime at all.”

• The condition of the room was nice, clean and attractive.
• A night desk personnel was very rude.

“Currently there is heavy construction on the roads around the hotel, making it a little difficult to find and access. My opinion is not influenced by that difficulty. Upon arrival the front desk staff that checked us in was very friendly until she found our reservation. We had a short discussion regarding the type of room we had reserved, i.e., non-smoking, queen, etc. That person refused to allow a change to two double beds. The young lady at the desk at checkout was almost equally condescending.”

• Nice room with big kitchen and eating area.
• There is a hospital next door. People hanging outside the rooms/building talking on cell phones on their breaks.

• The staff was helpful and cooperative.
• The room was not clean (floors) no towels.

“Hotel staff and front desk responded immediately when I informed them the room, had no towels, had two large bags of trash outside my window, the commode would not flush, and the wireless computer connection was not working. Don't know what that meant.”

“A great hotel. We checked in the early evening just as the staff was starting their free daily cookout. The pool was nice, and the room as well. Breakfast in the morning had a lot of selections. Staff was very friendly.”

• The swimming pool was closed.

“Hotel room was clean except for the drawers. They were filthy! The drawers had hairs and other body things in them. I dared not put any of my clothes in those drawers. Also, the pool was still closed even though Little Rock is in the south and has had above 80 degree temps since April. Pool should not have been closed!”

“Nice hotel to stay at, especially if you have kids. The free breakfast was very nice. The suite we stayed in was rather large and included a couch. The bathroom was a bit small and the door swung out which was awkward. Overall, I was pleased with my stay.”

• No disposable cups in rooms for coffee/tea on-the-go.
• Lack of convenient vending.

“A little disappointing. But having said that, judging the room on its own merits, it was a pretty decent room. It was very clean, had just enough amenities to be comfortable and the full kitchen made the studio/suite an excellent value for an extended stay, especially for a family.”

“This hotel sits in an ideal w little rock location. The clubhouse/office was wonderful for breakfast and games (with kids). This hotel is concerned about sleep as well, as excessive 'noise' after 10pm is not tolerated (or at least this is their claim) - as we endured no problems at all. Oh and it sits next door to crispy crème!”

“I travel to little rock at least 3 times a month; this stay really had to be one of the best stays ever. I have stayed at every chain and major brand, but residence inn is my personal favorite. My children love there rooms.”

• Unaccommodating staff service, no washcloths-ever! broken phones, only one bed.

“And, we typically use your service for all our travel needs. Not what you would expect from a Marriott hotel affiliate. Especially the lack of bathroom linens and the phones and alarm clock that did not work. Very poor!”

• The extent to which the staff goes to make customers comfortable.
• The only difficulty was going to a different building for breakfast (3 kids), but even that was not a problem.

“Having three very young children can make hotel stays difficult for us. Other than the rare Kids' Suites with Holiday Inn, we have never found a hotel room that was accommodating for a family of five. Our Residence Inn room made traveling with our children a pleasure and gave us all the ability to get a good night's rest. Service was wonderful, breakfast was fabulous, and the other services that we didn't have time to enjoy because of our short stay looked fantastic. Thank you!”

“Upon our arrival, we were sent to the wrong building, I am handicapped and this was very hard on me trying to find my room. After were finally told what building we were in correctly, we went to our room and there was poop in the toilet bowl and urine around the base of the toilet. We complained and then waited for them to correct the problem. After getting into our room we started our showers and there was soap scum in the soap holders where they were never cleaned. The water ran slowly out of the tub leaving our feet in dirty water. After all of this we decided to just go to bed and what do you thing we found, yep another problem. Our pull out couch mattress was urine stained by a large spot. It was horrible. We then called the office and they said they would send someone with another. They took so long that we called again and requested that they send us a rollaway since it was taking them so long to find the other. Instead of that, the maintenance man came in and didn't know what we wanted so we had to explain to him what was going on and then he went and instead of brining us a roll away, he brought the mattress and proceeded to exchange the mattress. This compared to our previous visit at the Marriott Residence Inn in Oklahoma, well lets just say there is no comparison. Oklahoma City Marriott Residence Inn was outstanding in every aspect but this hotel. It was horrible, we finally got to bed about 1 p.m. and we arrived around 5:30 or 6:30 that evening. This was the worst hotel I have every had.”

• All rooms are large suites. Refry. Stove, microwave, dishes. Next to crispy crème,
• Helicopter's landing in the middle of night. No indoor pool.

“Excellent room and amenities. I knew about the helicopter pad before from looking at review. Took a small fan that makes noise and never heard anything. No big deal. Very secure hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful people.”

“We had 2 rooms, 3 people, business travel. The other room had filthy sheets and our companion had to get another room. In our room, the windows were broken, the commode was stopped up. We got the Marriot City in the same area and the facility was excellent, clean, really nice. ”

“For the extended stay traveler, the room was large, bed was comfortable, and kitchen appliances were ample. Staff at the desk and in the breakfast/supper room was extremely friendly and welcoming. It was obvious that several guests were repeat customers and were known by the staff. Atmosphere was great. There was little parking available at the "lobby" (it was a building unto itself), but it was easy to walk from the various buildings.”

“The room was dirty, trash in the kitchen area and mold in the shower. The room as not cleaned the next day either. No towels were brought to the room and the bed was not made. It was if they had forgotten anyone was there. Oh well we are in the process of renovating the hotel. Thanks for staying with us".”

• There was no blanket on the bed, and they would not provide one.

“Upon entering the hotel room it looked nice and clean. However, upon taking my shoes off me realized that the carpet was very dirty. It left my feet black. The bed had no blanket on it, and after calling the front desk they told us they would not bring one up. They also said the room comfortably slept 3, but did not mention that they space for the 3rd person was a very flimsy and uncomfortable hide-a-bed in a sofa. The first time one of us used the bathroom the toilet overflowed and a bloody tampon came out with it that was definitely not ours. They did not provide additional shampoo after the first day. Overall I was not very impressed with this hotel.”

• They put us in a suite when we really needed 2 beds.
