• I liked the spaciousness of the room and the courteous front desk staff.
• The hallways were dark and smelled like mildew, and my room had a cracked mirror.

“Overall, I was pleased with the courteous desk staff and spacious room. Also, the hotel was in a nice part of town. However, my first room had a broken, noisy fan and I had to move to another room. The new room had a broken mirror and the corridors of the hotel smelled bad.”

“We have stayed in six different hotels on our vacation. This was our favorite of them all. The room had all the amenities one could want including a bowl of candy. The continental breakfast was superb!”

• I liked the breakfast and weeknight social hours.
• There were bugs in the hallway and general cleanliness was a problem.

“This hotel seems like an older property in the chain. The location was great and easily accessible to multiple areas. However, the general cleanliness was a problem. it took several attempts to get the room cleaned and there were centipedes in the hallways. The breakfast and weeknight socials were nice but not enough to overcome my disgust at the clean factor.”

• In safe location, but do have to drive to go to restaurants.

“Nice for a business traveler or family traveling through the area. Rooms are large with kitchen and staff is friendly and helpful. Great pool, whirlpool, fitness center, and hot breakfast. Not much nightlife nearby, it's in a suburban area.”

• Reported a mattress problem in the morning. It was replaced before we returned that afternoon.
• Liked everything.

“We were very impressed with the hotel and expect to stay there again. We especially liked the bed, it was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and always eager to help. We had a problem with a sofa bed mattress which was replaced the same day we reported it. The suite had a full kitchen and its refrigerator had an ice maker. The complimentary breakfast had a broad array of offerings.”

• The room was hot and the air was turned off, only heat.

“The room had only heat available, and it was a little warm. The maid knocked on the door at 8:30 am and wanted to know if we were ready to check out. She asks 2 more times before the check out time of noon.”

• Liked the hot breakfast and having microwave in room.
• We did not have towels when we arrived. The room we stayed in had a bad shower head and the lady at the desk hung up on us.

“We had to move rooms because our shower head did not work. It took two days for do anything about it. The front desk was not friendly at all I called the second day about our shower and the lady hung up on me. We did not have towels in our room the first night and there wasn't a stopper in the tub to give our baby a bath, so we had to use a washcloth. The second day we had our room cleaned and they didn't bring us more toilet paper, so we ran out and had to go to the front desk again.”

• It was a great stay. Convenient, clean, bed and pull out sofa spacious room, full kitchen.
• Staffer started pulling breakfast before the cut off time.

“It was a great trip back home. The hotel was clean, the full kitchen is nice, the room had an l shaped sofa bed and a queen bed. Perfect for three people to stay in.”

• The maintenance staff and housekeeping staff were very friendly.
• The TV in the room did not work at all; the replacement did not work well. Internet service was unusable.

“Although the room appearance was flawless and exceeded my expectations, the place is having technical difficulties. Internet service was pretty well nonexistent and the staff there was not helpful in resolving the issue. The original television in the room would not even turn on. Once the (very friendly) maintenance staff finally determined that the set rather than electrical problems was the issue, they quickly brought a replacement. Unfortunately, the hotel was having "computer problems" and half the channels. The half I normally watch were not available. No Internet, no TV, with a teenager in the room this is a prescription for a migraine.”

“Hotel was located on an awkward property, but the rooms were nice, the management helpful and the amenities, while scattered and somewhat inconvenient, were nice. Place was clean and secure and I would be glad to return.”

• There was nothing that I did not like. If I said there was, I would be picking.

“It started with a very friendly receptionist that was very friendly and helpful. I was actually a little surprised at the cleanliness and scale of this room compared to other extended stay hotels I have stayed in. I would definitely recommend the Marriott.”

• The breakfast was great and the lady working it was superb.
• My bathroom was gross! The tub had not been scrubbed in a while.

“All the common areas were in great shape and very clean! The breakfast was the best prepared and the breakfast area was the cleanest that I've seen. On the down side, the bathroom was dirty! The tub actually had soap scum and mildew (good thing I bring cleaners), hair on the vanity, there was a used razor on the floor close to the bed, the sleeper sofa was uncomfortable and the linens and pillows "smelled" dirty. The group we were with was very pleased with their rooms, which would indicate that maybe we had the pleasant experience of a lazy housekeeper. I really wouldn't mind staying here again as long as the room is cleaner.”

• Large, comfortable room, with sofa & recliner and full kitchen.
• Drawers in bath area had not been cleaned.

“Always a pleasure to stay at residence inn. It is so nice to have all the room to stretch out and relax. Breakfast staff was especially welcoming and attentive. Only problem - lots of hair in all bathroom drawers from previous guest and something thick and sticky smeared on bath counter top. We were offered another room by the manager but it had the same exact issue. It was cleaned by housekeeping the following day due to our evening arrival.”

• Black mold in stairwell due to gushing water leaks.

“The staff was terrible. The room did not have shampoo and when I went to the front desk the idiot attendant said there was no shampoo (of course there was shampoo!) The linens were dirty. The electricity went out the week before and someone pulled the fire alarm at midnight. That was fun. The management offered no concessions for our inconvenience. The cleaning staff habitually asks me to borrow cigarettes and pesters me throughout my stay. I had to go to the front desk to get towels one morning, and when I came back from work the cleaning staff had taken them for some reason leaving me with none. When I called the front desk that couldn't find the shampoo, he told me he could not leave the desk to bring me towels. I explained my discontent and after 25 minutes (and after my shower that I had to use hand towels to dry off) he came to the room and gave me a dirty look and dropped the towels in my hand and walked away. Something needs to be done at this establishment. If Marriott corporate knew about the disrepair, the leaking water, the smell of mold in the stairwells, and the complete lack of professionalism from the staff, including management, heads would surely roll. I tolerate these inconveniences because of low price and proximity to my work. But I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• I liked the full kitchens in the room, large showers and comfortable bed.
• There is no ice maker available to the public. The refrigerators have ice makers, but if you need more ice you have to get an employee to help you.

“Located in west lr, close to fast food and casual dining, I 430 & i630. Comfortable bed, good mattresses. Heat and air controlled by thermostat, which is a plus. (I don't like the cheap window units.) Big shower and vanity area a plus. Would recommend and stay there again.”

• It was convenient to where I was going and I enjoyed the full kitchen.
• The noisy neighbors that stayed up all night and thin walls.

“If you are looking for a place to stay for several days and don't like to eat out a lot, or even if you do, this is a great place. There is a full kitchen in the room and it is convenient to many restaurants and attractions in the Little Rock area. I only stayed for one night, but I left knowing I would come back again. The amenities at the hotel included a pool, tennis court and basketball hoop including a walking trail. There was also a nice breakfast served in the mornings. I would recommend this hotel to anyone whether you are staying a week or a night.”

• No sheets on the second bed, rude staff, had to make bed for the children even though called ahead.

“Only main complaint is that we were told the complementary breakfast was from 7:00 am to 10: am during the weekends. However, when we went at 9:30 am to eat, there was no food at all.”

• The room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was good when they finally got it out our last day.
• Breakfast was not ready at all the first morning. I didn't even have muffins out.

“We checked in and asked when breakfast would be ready in the lobby. They said 7. We had a tennis match at 8 so that was cutting it close, but we worked out schedule to accommodate theirs. We got there at 7 and nothing was out. There were three people behind the desk with no one checking in or out at that time. They said that the breakfast is complimentary, but not guaranteed or included in the price. If it was included in the price, we would say that, but because it isn't, we don't have to serve you breakfast. News to me - everyone should be aware that Marriott will serve breakfast when they feel like it, but should not be expected at time posted or anytime at all.”

• The condition of the room was nice, clean and attractive.
• A night desk personnel was very rude.

“Currently there is heavy construction on the roads around the hotel, making it a little difficult to find and access. My opinion is not influenced by that difficulty. Upon arrival the front desk staff that checked us in was very friendly until she found our reservation. We had a short discussion regarding the type of room we had reserved, i.e., non-smoking, queen, etc. That person refused to allow a change to two double beds. The young lady at the desk at checkout was almost equally condescending.”
