• We like the location concerning Mayo Clinic.
• Continental breakfast was not that great.

• It was clean and there was a Caribou Coffee right downstairs.
• We have a larger truck and parking was a hassle it was free but it was very tight spaced.

“The room was clean and the hotel staff was friendly. There are not many eating places to choose from in the area. Jimmy Johns is downstairs but for a good quality meal at a good price you won't find it in the area. We liked the hotel the only thing we didn't like was there was sick people everywhere. We have a larger truck and parking was a bit of a hassle it was free which we were thankful for however it was really hard to get into the ramp there was some construction and a lot of tight turns so for a larger truck it was a little difficult. All in all I would recommend the hotel don't know if I would stay there again just because of all the sick people.”

• Older hotel showed it's age. Hotel dining closed over busy weekend.

• Not a whole lot.
• Parking, old rooms, breakfast room was filthy, very small pool.

“The front desk people were very friendly but the motel is very out dated. There were only two small parking lots and they were always full. You have to park in a parking ramp across the street. The breakfast the proved was in a small room and was very dirty. We would not return to this motel.”

• Limited parking in the attached structure.

“Good value for the price. 10 minute walk from nearly any appointment in the Mayo Clinic complex (less if you're late) using the underground pedestrian walkways. It is also wheelchair-friendly.”

• Room was dirty needs a thorough cleaning, including corners.

“This hotel was hard to find. It was not clean! The corners had dirt and the floors in the bath were full of dirt and grass, the sink and faucets had soap scum and build up. You could tell that they had only cleaned the surface- makes you wonder how clean the bedding is etc.”

“I was disappointed for this to be a Mahler the bathroom was especially unpleasant. Had to wait for a clerk to come to the desk. The breakfast left a little to be desired.”

“The staff is friendly and helpful and the parking is great because it's covered. This is a plus for someone who worries about where to park an expensive motorcycle. The location is convenient, being it's in the middle of downtown and close to the Mayo clinic.”

“The hotel rooms are really rough. 1970's looking bathrooms with poor carpet and no pad. When walking in room you can feel the uneven foundation. If you offer 1 star then I would think this might be it.”

• Good breakfast included in price as well as parking.
• I am in a wheelchair and could not get into the hotel from the parking garage without waiting for someone to come and help.

“This hotel is conveniently located close to Mayo clinic and is connected by the subway system. They provide a nice selection of breakfast items and free parking. However, the parking on the subway level is very tight and low ceiling with no handicap access to the hotel. The door is impossible to open by oneself either coming or going by a person in an electric wheelchair. Also, the hotel elevators are inadequate for the number of people they service.”

“Most people do an extended stay. Should have a small refrigerator and microwave in every room. Many or most go to Rochester for medical treatment. There was no valet parking, and only one porter. Room was functional. Staff were very accommodating and friendly.”

• Free parking, extra nice continental breakfast, close to Mayo Clinic.
• Elevators are too slow, couldn't continue our medical trip stay.

“Very good for Medical Trips like our, we can use the subway (below ground to medical appointments, without wearing a coat. We wore our coats twice in three weeks, and that was to Church and Eat Out once. Can go by tunnel to Hospital Cafeteria.”

• All regular rooms are not smoking, only suites smoking.

“A nice downtown location near Mayo clinic. Parking is in a garage and a little cramped. If I would have brought my minivan and snowmobile trailer, I don't know where I would have parked. Staff was friendly and the room was clean. I would recommend this hotel!”

“What a great choice for our stay in Rochester! It was so convenient to the Clinic and downtown. Friendly, helpful staff made our stay very enjoyable. The breakfast was good and very helpful for beginning our day. It would be highly recommended for those staying in Rochester.”

• I do not like the bottled water left in the room, then charged $2.50 if I open it.

• Take the hotel elevator to the subway and you are 30 steps from being in the lower floor of the Mayo Clinic

“The staff was courteous and friendly, the rooms spacious and clean and the free parking and contential breakfast are all things that we appreciate in a hotel stay. Add to that the close proximity to the Mayo Clinic and the Kahler Economy Inn was a perfect fit for us.”

• The bathroom needed a little fixing, drain would not stay open in shower.

• The staff assigned us a larger room than most in this Hotel.
• usually stay in new hotels because they are not worn.
