• Room cleanliness.
• Poor communications.

“Friendly people but did not have shampoo or hair dryer in room. They later said "well you have to ask for it" Really. Room was OK though and ten minutes from Downtown.”

• Staff friendly and helpful.
• There was no shampoo, TV very small, no breakfast.

“Overall not bad but the biggest problem I had is that there was no shampoo which is very inconvenient for business travel. There was no breakfast but there are utensils in the room and a Walmart close by.”

• Clean bathrooms.
• Room was very small
  and smelled like smoke.

“Had called the hotel in the morning to upgrade to a 2 double bed, and she said no problem. When we got there late at night, 11 pm, there was only one queen bed, so a couple of us had to make a bed on the floor to sleep on. There was only a laundry person working down by the front desk. Didn't know much. I got poor driving directions on the phone, when we arrived, and got lost, I called there, and the lady got us all screwed up, thus the late arrival.”

• Kitchen, laundry available, quiet.
• Staff had us wait at counter thru 3 phone interruptions while checking in.

• The room was clean, spacious and comfortable.
• Had a slight problem getting to it though I could see it from the highway.

• It was probably the most unfriendly and uninviting hotel that I have stayed at.

• Full kitchen with range fridge, freezer, etc.
• Way too plain.

“This is really a motel best suited for someone who's going to call it home for a little while. Very plain. No lobby, etc. I prefer the nice fixtures, beautiful lobby, updated decor, etc. in a hotel.”

• Basic furnishings; depressing atmosphere with zero amenities.

“Don't be fooled by the attractive brick exterior. Inside you will find a small lobby. To save on labor expenses, the front desk clerk does laundry behind the desk. The commercial washer and dryer are in plain view. The front desk closes at 11:00 p.m. (Not that you would call anyway, because the motel has nothing to offer.) The room had ample workspace. But for relaxing, there was one of those incredibly basic motel recliners. The TV was a standard 19 or 20" with Showtime and a the cheapest cable package available. This smallish room (mine had a queen bed) had a cheap alarm clock on the nightstand. They provided a few bars of the little motel soaps. No lotion; no shampoo. Housekeeping is provided only once per week, unless you pay an extra $10. Each room has small, basic kitchen. That is a big drawback because the cooking smells from the rooms are terrible, especially in the corridors. Think about it: a low budget motel with corridors and everyone has their own microwave and stove! Bad combination. Beware. This place does not deserve two stars! Don't mess around with anything lower than three stars. If you do, you will regret it.”

• This hotel was a great value for the money.
• The pillows and beds not the best. Bring your own pillow!

“This hotel was very friendly and in a safe location. Close to eating places and shopping. Had nice trails to walk or run on since this hotel doesn't have a excerise room. It was nice because they had a small kitchen so you could do some cooking if you would like. The rooms have alot of room which was also nice. I would stay here again. Very quiet location.”

• Mattress was more firm than I personally prefer.

• Accessible, clean, convenient, and kitchennette is nice.
• No hair dryer in room, no shampoo/conditioner in room.

“Very quiet and clean facility. Conveniently located near Mayo clinic (5 mins drive on the highway). Close by to several great restaurants. Only have a workout room but no pool. It would be nice if it has a pool or accessible to pool facility from other nearby affiliated facility.”

• Kitchen option.
• Curtains were 6 inches, too narrow -didn't cover entire window.

“Generally clean, well kept and basic - to provide for the needs of (especially) extended stay travelers. It seemed that the check in process was longer than necessary.”

• As we walked past the front desk, a staff member was always available for questions and requests.
• The hotel seemed to be quite empty yet a heavy walking individual was located directly above our room.

• The kitchenette is great, very convenient..
• I always forget that there are ice cube trays in the freezer. I'm always looking for an ice bucket.

“Convenient location, just off the highway. Family restaurants and gas stations near by. We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, with plenty of towels and hot water.”
